Good pizza! Probably not the best in Rome, but above average. The crust was thick and crunchy but no too hard, but the toppings were still somewhat cold after reheating. The staff was very friendly, but spoke very little english. It is quite interesting that they charge you by weight instead of slice, and to be honest it is pretty suspenseful as you wait to see if you made a mistake telling them how much you wanted! The pizza is all laid out in front of you, and reheated when you order. It is certainly better than some of the touristy disappointments in Rome, but not up to the world-class quality of pizza you can find in some gems in Italy

Our meal under $10 Euros

Our trip was June 2015 Within the first few hours upon arriving into Rome, this was the first place we came to for food. It was very close to our B&B so we waned to try the pizza immediately. As we entered the place, we immediately noticed that is was busy with locals and no tourists but ourselves. We stepped up to the counter, ordered our pizza and suppli. You choose the size of the pizza you want, they weigh it, then you go to the register and pay for it. There was a reasonable variety of pizza on display. They owners were kind and realized we were not local and helped us through the process. You are welcome to sit at the tables without any extra charge. The meal was pleasant to the eyes, delicious, and filling. TIP They are not open for dinner. They close well before dinner in the 4:00pm hour.

Quick & delicious! Crust is light and fresh. You pay by weight of the slice you choose. Ask to have it heated! Friendly staff. A terrific inexpensive meal.

Mozzerella, mushrooms and artichoke.

Wonderful and simple pizzas and a friendly staff. I found myself visiting almost daily.

Trieste is an easy five stars…read more It's a tiny place with only about 8-10 tables, but you can also order at the counter and take your food to go. We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

We ordered & sipped two glasses of wine outside, then placed a variety of dishes to share while they cleared the table: pasta, two small pizzas, baby octopus, Genovese (stewed beef), Arancino, and more wine/beer. The food was consistently delicious, served in a cozy, charming atmosphere, all at great prices. A truly delightful experience!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 3/5 It was around 8:30 and I was hungry, didn't have time to go to other side of the city so found this place near by my hotel. Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
