Waited an hour in line for our sandwiches. They were good, but not sure if it's an hour good to be honest. We got the Bobby flay (porcheta, stracciatella, pesto) with sun-dried tomatoes and a mortadella sandwich with stracciatella cheese and pesto spread. Both were good sandwiches, but I felt like the meat and cheese to bread ratio is off. One sandwich had too much filling while the other had too little. That said, both sandwiches were tasty.. and after waiting an hour, I had high hopes but unfortunately it just didn't wow me. Service was excellent though.

Porchetta Panini

Great panni, small walk up counter. Always busy.Located on side street near Piazza de Popolo. We had the Porchetta Panni with Stracciatella cheese. The two brothers running the place are very welcoming speaking English to us non Italian speakers. Credit card accepted.

The. Bobby. Flay. I mean even the Chef/Lead who met Bobby Flay said that Bobby Flay knows his flavors and is a genius. While we had all'antico vinaio multiple times during our trip - La Vita E'un Mozzico is worth a stop too! We ordered the Bobby Flay (featuring porchetta, stracciatella, pesto). Served warm and wow their porchetta is next level. It was sooo flavorful. I wish I ate it warm because consuming it the next day made the texture with the stracciatella & pork skin/fat texture a bit too similar but it was still very delicious!! They can make any sandwich with the items in their case. From there, you pay by weight!

Porchetta, presto, and burrata. Pretty perfect.

Long line but worth the wait. Amazing bread, porchetta, and cheese. Enough for two meals. There's no seating or toilet, so be prepared to take it somewhere or eat on the street.

The panino shop close to Piazza del Poppolo. An American celebrity chef! Bobby Flay's photo!

I stumbled up the tiniest panino shop very close to Piazza del Poppolo. There was a short line, so (why not?) I joined in. Once inside, I spied a photo of Bobby Flay (!), the Food Network celebrity chef. The owner said Bobby was filming in the area and stopped in to enjoy a porchetta panino. Nice! I tried the porchetta panino with pesto spread which the shop owner said was Bobby's favorite. I added some slices of eggplant to it. It was tasty. The bread was sliced to make it thinner then placed into a sandwich press to warm it up. I think the foccacia bread could be fresher. The porchetta was not tender and cold. I think San Francisco's Roli Roti does a better porchetta sandwich than this shop. RR serves fresh porchetta just off the spit. You'll have to stop in and check out this Roman panino shop where Giada DeLaurentis & Bobby Flay have given a thumbs up. Take out only.

Get the "bobby flay" sandwich.. just add a bit more pesto to get the flavor. Overall the bread was very light porchetta was on spot too! Definitely a place I would go back. The patrons were very nice and helpful

Long line moved along quickly

Huge sandwich well worth 7-mins in line and figuring out what ingredients to lay on thin-yet-crispy bread. Ordered Bobby Flay Special (delicious but watch for large pieces of seasoned pork skin) and Porchetta Cubano (watch for crispy fried salty pork rine). Super reasonably priced, exceptionally filling, the two very congenial chefs spoke decent broken English and loved whipping out sandwiches.

Best sandwich in Rome! The service was excellent and we ordered Bobby Flay's special sandwich. The restaurant is next to a mini supermarket so you can have a great italian beer like Birra Moretti while you wait your turn in line. Definitely recommend 100%

I miss the food in Rome so much. This was one of my favorite locations I visited for a quick meal in between museums. Staff was so friendly. My lack of Italian didn't bother them at all. I really love when restaurants don't make you feel like a tourists. Small shop but there's no need to be inside until you order. Be prepared for a small wait as this is one of the higher rated locations on TripAdvisor.

Sandwich Shop.

Sandwich was so incredibly good. I do not speak Italian but the guys behind the counter got my order exactly. They are awesome.

Great food! Everything was delicious and made with freshly sliced cured meats. The service was very kind and patient, as my Italian is not very good. The gentleman who prepared my ordered spoke English and helped me order. It is a small shop to quickly get in and out. The bread is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Would visit this place again!

Right after ordering. Got some help from the workers on what to get and they steered me in the right direction!

This is the best sandwich I have ever had. I got truffle ham with strattitella and pesto. So delish. My dad got porchetta with the same cheese and pesto and his was phenomenal also. Bobby Flay loves this place and the workers seem so proud of it. They were very helpful and friendly when ordering! We got whatever they said was best. Definitely try this out if you're in Rome!
