la Madeline restaurant NEW! French Toast Breakfast Country French Breakfast

We'dla Madeline NEW! French Toast Breakfast Country French Breakfast Most restaurants are closed on Thanksgiving. la Madeline is open until 2 pm. We stopped in. What a welcoming, friendly, and yes busy, restaurant. The breakfasts and pastries were outstanding. Staff, restaurant, and oh the food, 5+ Stars

Large variety of bakery and pastry items. Entrees are equally large in variety. However, I have tried several entrees and they were not exactly my cup of tea.

I've tried a lot of tomatoe soups from different places but nothing beats La Madeline's. I had an oral biopsy done and the only thing I wanted and could handle eating was this soup. Life saver! The service is typically fast however every single time I come here I find that the tables are dirty and haven't been cleaned. Other than that I love coming here.

Really can't go wrong with the country French breakfast here. It's like the one and only dish I get no matter what time of the day it is. The potato galette is flavorful enough to where you don't need any extra sauce or seasoning and the edges are so crunchy. Egg was extra runny but still good. The croissant was crispy on the outside and buttery and flaky on the inside. Paired it with some butter and jam, and it was a perfect way to end the meal. The employees were so kind and attentive. There was plenty of parking and seating. It was a relatively quiet and relaxing atmosphere!

Absolutely love coming here on Sundays for my coffee and croissants. I ah e always received good service. The tomato soup is fabulous and one of our favorites. The atmosphere is always relaxed, not too noisy and enjoyable.

Although it was super packed the day after Christmas and the majority of my time was spent waiting in line, the experience was not bad. It isn't typically that busy, but in times like that it made me wish that their ordering system were different. It was clear that the fact that ordering soups and salads in line held it up drastically. It would have been much more efficient to order everything at the counter or through a touch screen device. The food came out somewhat quickly after ordering and was super tasty. I am a huge fan of the pesto pasta.

Poor service: waited 35 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant for our food which arrived cold.

Nice service. Pretty good food, nothing particularly special though. Definitely on the pricey side.

Thank goodness that we stopped in at 85 degrees bakery - Katy for a quick snack on the last Sunday…read morein December 2025. I ended up saving these delicious treats for dinner on Monday when dinner plans that evening fell thru. We arrived at 85 Degrees Bakery after having lunch at Supreme Dumplings - Katy nearby. My friend decided to pick up something for their family and I was like okay, let me pick up something too. My friend, her husband, and I went to town here and we all picked up something for later. We probably spent about a good 1/2 hour here looking and seeing what we wanted to purchase. In the end, I found 4 items that seemed to be the best items to purchase. Anything chocolate and pastry like was the best choice for me. The prices here were decent and moderately priced at around $3.25 average per item. I also gotten a strawberry banana smoothie to go as well. For the most part though, the experience here at this 85 C Bakery here in Katy is almost the same as in my hometown of Honolulu, where we have 85 C Bakery there too. The bakery itself is rather small but has everything you'd like from an Asian style bakery. Felt pretty good and nice to have the Asian influence in South Texas when you are away from home. I enjoyed my time here at 85 C Bakery and if you're into delicious snacks and pastries, consider coming here. It's a Starbucks alternative for sure and you get a better assortment of options to choose from, as well as delicious smoothies too. As soon as I paid for my purchase, I drank that smoothie like it was my job before we got back into the car. It was quite refreshing and enjoyable. The overall experience here at 85 C Bakery - Katy Texas was very pleasant and refreshing. It was a short stop on the way to Katy Mills Mall on a Sunday December 2025 afternoon. The service here was good and fast while being friendly and professional. The bakery itself was very small, but good to walk around and definitely felt like home. I had to wait about 5 minutes before leaving because they had to make my smoothie and it was not made beforehand. Everything was nice and definitely a place where to go to enjoy the little things in life that you take for granted every day. And so, if you find yourself in the area of Katy, Texas and want to indulge yourself in some awesome pastries, chocolate or other confections, consider coming here to check them out. It's a bakery that is open to anyone and everyone who loves delicious pastries and desserts. The smoothies are pretty good too and refreshing. Definitely recommended if you are in the area I want something other than the usual assortment of burgers, fries, and soft drinks. Not sure if we have free Wi-Fi, but we did not stay long to test out that theory. The place was air-conditioned, but we did not know if it was actually on or not. What I said, 85C bakery is a good place to come to when you need something other and candy or fast food to fill the mid hunger slot in your day. Come on over if you're in the area, they'll be glad to have you there. This 85 C Bakery is located in Katy, Texas. It's physically located at 23330 Grand Circle Boulevard and it's part of the West Side Mall - Katy. It was also pretty close to supreme dumplings, where I had lunch for coming here. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have plenty of parking for you to choose from. But best bet is to come here early to secure the best parking spot available. Not sure if there is regional public transportation system here in Katy, but probably best to have your own ride, a rental, or friends who are willing to take you around town. Then there's always Uber or a lift who can take you on command, but it does cost money for you to do so. With that said, 85C bakery here in Katy, Texas, where a lot of happiness is these days, is the place to be where you want to have snacks at your convenience. It's not really in Houston but it's worth a drive if you're headed out that direction. I'm not sure if they have mobile ordering or not but maybe that could be the case if you want that option too. Do yourself a favor and come out here for your next snack attack. If you're in the area and love an alternative to fast food options, definitely come check this face out. You won't regret it. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B+

Good Bakery, different pastry options, smoothies, teas…read more Service is ok, not outstanding. ambiance is ok. Main issue is that when we choose Iced tea or other Iced drinks, there is too much ice cubes. When asked for NO Ice the employees say that it is NOT possible, and reduced ICE then they serve the drink lowering the level of the drink because it is the Manager's Owners Instructions. We do not like it, as the people go there for teas or drinks and NOT TO BUY ICE. Speaking with the Manager, not nice at all. Service needs to improve a lot

The tongs…read moremelted right into the almond croissant, which led me to get the Pain Au Chocolate, the Pizza, and Milky Bread. Now the Milky Bread was a first time for me. So, I got the idea to make it a bun by cutting two slices for a mini hamburger later that night, and it was good. The following morning, I made a breakfast sandwich and another sandwich for lunch. I can say this was the best bread I have ever had; it's a very light bread, too. So, now I want to try more of their breads, sandwiches, coffee, and teas. I saw the Iced Caffe Latte and the Iced Lavender; I would like to try them, too. Also, this place is very pleasing to the eye, with the color scheme being mostly light. I like the see-through-closed glass doors to the pastries. I think this area is heated, which is why the pastries are so fresh. There is also plenty of room to sit, bigger and smaller tables. It's a quaint place on the quiet side to relax, chat and dine. Also the service was great!

The kids were…read moreso excited to eat the birthday cake, but after blowing out the candles, nobody could even enjoy it. We ended up throwing the whole cake away. The cake tasted old and stale like it had been sitting in the store for days. The cream was hard instead of soft and fresh, and the cake itself was dry and unpleasant. It honestly felt like a display cake rather than a fresh cake made for customers. It was upsetting seeing the kids excited for cake and then unable to eat it. For the price paid, this quality is unacceptable. I would avoid this store if you care about freshness and quality.
