Family of 5 went and bought a 6 pack of big cinnamon rolls and went to sit hoping to eat the warm rolls but was told we had to leave in 3 minutes due to the lobby going to close - no signs anywhere saying when lobby close- we arrived at 8:35pm JULY 26th. My family and I decided to stop by this Schlotzsky's on our way to visit the University of Houston. I was surprised that even though it was mid morning I was still able to order some lunch. I ordered a small Turkey Avocado Sandwich which comes with turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and lite mayo on a sourdough bun. I ordered my sandwich with Mustard instead of Mayonnaise and added bacon. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie. We picked up our order at around 10:00 AM and had no issues. We walked into the restaurant and saw the person working behind the counter. My husband told her my name and we were given our food. The restaurant was bright and clean with plenty of places to sit. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it was worth a mention. My sandwich was good. It had plenty of turkey and I could taste the freshness of the other ingredients. The chocolate chip cookie had lots of chocolate chips and was sweet. Overall the whole process was convenient, easy and fast. read more

Terrible service I don't normally order food from Schlotzsky's but thought I would give them a chance to see if they were a good sandwich shop to buy from. I had an offer for a free small sandwich and small drink from T-Mobile on Tuesday, but when I arrived they claimed they were out of the small sandwiches. I asked if another location might have them instead and the guy at the register said he wouldn't know that. I get that, but my thoughts on this experience is that if you're going to promote a one day special then you as a restaurant should have plenty of that item on hand. If you do run out of an item that is being widely advertised then you should have an alternative item that you can replace it with. Otherwise it is perceived as a bait situation (obviously not bait and switch as I was not upsold on another item). After all, customers drive to your restaurant and receive poor service, and leave irritated and empty handed. Truly a waste of time and gas. I doubt seriously I'll revisit a Schlotzsky's in the future due to this situation. One last thing here, I read the terms of the promotion and nowhere did it say "while supplies last". If it had I would not have gone to the restaurant or even felt the need to write a review on my experience. read more

The reason I frequent this place is for the Cinnabon rolls. They used to have a location in the Katy mills mall but since this one opened it's much more convenient. These Cinnabon rolls are to die for. They are always fresh and are a sizable size portion One of my wetland guess absolutely loves these so we surprised her for breakfast. What did he say about The Original? Always tasty. Always reliable. I should've ordered small. I could barely even finish the medium. Schlotzsky's sandwiches have been consistent over the last two decades. However... The French Onion soup was terrible. No one ever expects crisp, crunchy onions in French Onion soup. And the broth was way too salty, as if not enough water had been added to the stock. I ordered DoorDash delivery. Otherwise, if I would've been eating in the restaurant I would've asked for a refund on the soup. read more

This schlotzskys location is always excellent, consistent on the service and consistent on the food. Sandwiches, soups and pizzas, they also offer Cinnabon products. The chicken bacon smoke cheesy with jalapeño chips is my go to...soooooo good! I've met the owner and he's a great guy...he has hired two of our own kids and he works well with local kids in school, he is very flexible with their schedules. I was in the mood for a good old American Schlotzsky's ham and cheese original. Looked online and they don't have them on the menu, looked on the app and they don't have them so I had to jump through hoops to find their telephone number. Finally got through to a rep onsite and they informed me they do still have the ham and cheese original. Got my lazy butt up and headed to Schlotzsky's. Upon ordering a medium ham and cheese original and the drink and chips I was astonished by the almost $15 price for a medium sandwich $7.99 and the $3.30 for a bag of chips and a medium drink. Now me being a glutton for punishment that I am, I also ordered a Cinnabon classic roll $4.99 and an additional frosting cup $0.99...total cost for lunch $18.69...but wait. I wanted some Caesar dressing for my sandwich, did I get a "Yes sir we'll put it on your sandwich", nope I got a "we sell it on the side for $0.27 each cup". Now lunch for a ham sandwich, Cinnabon, bag of chips and a medium drink...$19.23 I'm going to have to get another job to eat at Schlotzsky's...I wonder if they're hiring.... Oh side note, food was great and staff was super pleasant and helpful...the restaurant was clean and since putting in the new roof, temperature was decent. One star is for price alone. read more

Came in to redeem a surprise $5 reward. This location is a little unnoticeable if you're not looking for it, but luckily I had my GPS on and turned right in the nick of time! I didnt see many cars in the parking lot, which always makes me reluctant to stop, but upon entering, I noticed three guys sitting down eating, so I decided to order. It was a litle chilly, so I was looking forward to ordering their potato soup, but it wasnt being offerred this partcular day. Darn my luck! Decided to go for the gusto and order the Deluxe original sandwich, which is double the meat. I ended up paying 89 cents my sandwich and they didnt give me any hassle with my app coupon! I did try to redeem two rewards at one time to save a visit, but youre only able to do one a day. I always eat sourdough with a side of olive oil. When the cook brought the bag to me, I asked for a side of olive oil. The cook seemed confused, but shook his head like he understood. Two minutes later, another guy pops up and ask if there was a problem. I mention the same--just want some olive oil to go. The guy obliged, but it tool longer to get the oil to make the sandwich???? As I was waiting, that gave m3 time to be more observant of the store's atmosphere. Pretty organized and roomy with various sizes of tables to accomodate numerous sizes of groups. However, where I had parked my purse while waiting for ny order had some visible crumbs. There wasnt alot of foot traffic coming through the store, so they should have had time to clean this up. I frequent Schlotzsky's quite often, and this Schlotzsky's is by far the worst mainly because they would not honor one of my rewards. Even the manager would not honor the reward. The reward was for a free drink didn't say what size they would only give me a small I wanted a large, all the other Schlotzsky's in the area will give me the reward except this one I will never go back to this one. read more

The original sandwhich was pretty good. Not going to lie. I usually dont eat processed meats but this place made it really well! The spurdough bread was delicous ans crispy. Just enough so it wasnt dry. The cheese on the sandwhich wasng overwhelming so I liked it a lot. The jalepeno chips were also very good. read more

Huge hair in my soup! Prices went way up while quality went down. I used to eat here a lot. It was a tasty soup and sandwich shop and the prices were decent. I haven't been to this location in about two years and things have changed for the worst. I got a turkey sandwich, broccoli cheese soup and chips. The turkey sandwich bread was wet, soggy and tasteless. The turkey itself was slimy and definitely not fresh. The broccoli cheese soup was pretty much water with two small broccoli chunks in it. As I was stirring the soup my spoon caught on something at the bottom. When I lifted the spoon a huge blonde hair came up from the very bottom. I'm brunette so I know it wasn't mine. I was extremely grossed out and threw everything away. I won't be here ever again. read more

Consistently delicious sandwiches and always kind customer service. Today they were extremely busy and accidentally gave me the wrong sandwich. They offered to deliver the correct order to me! Given how close I live and how busy they were I chose to save them the trip and go back to get the correct order. When I got there they added cookies and sandwich cards to make up for the mix up. I wish I could rate this place higher because I received good service in the drive through, but the food was terrible. I LOVE Schlotzsky's, and I eat it at least once a week. I had never been to this location before though, and I was so extremely disappointed in the food preparation. I ordered the French onion soup and the French dip sandwich. I asked for extra grilled onions on my sandwich and went on my way. Let me start with the soup: it was cold, and the croutons were already IN the soup. Usually you get them in a bag on the side; at least that's how it's been at every other location I've visited. Needless to say I didn't eat the soup. It basically became a bowl of bread mush soaked in broth. Sandwich: I asked for extra grilled onions on my sandwich. What I received were the onions from the French onion soup. I wouldn't mind this usually, but whoever scooped them also scooped broth all over the sandwich. My sandwich was so wet with the French onions it tore the sandwich paper, leaked through the bag and got everywhere! Again, my review is based solely on food. Being a franchise, I understand the importance of consistency. This location is NOT consistent with other locations I have visited. The staff was great, very friendly, but the food was terrible. If it were my first time visiting Schlotzsky's, I would never come back based on my experience with the food this day. read more

Purchased a side Cesar salad while I was eating the salad I noticed a blonde hair in the salad , when I called the store the manger told me nobody there has blonde hair & I had to bring the salad back with the hair so they could refund me as if I was lying ??? Apparently this is there protocol ... don't know when that's a protocol for OSHA for you to instruct a customer to bring back food that was eaten out of with a hair in it back to your facility ???? I wasn't going to drive back anyway but just the fact that he said this was there policy was ridiculous. He was also very unprofessional cutting me off while I was speaking & apparently they have had multiple issues like this in the past . That's what the manager told me but I can honestly see why! As soon as I walked it I was welcomed by a loud and friendly "Hello, welcome glad you're here". I placed my usual order a Beef And Cheese with no tomato, and in less that 5 minutes my order was out and ready! The food was absolutely amazing, and I genuinely had a good time. They have a drive through, in which was most of the business when we were there. I had the pick 2 combo and it was plenty of food for the price. The food is consistently delicious. However, they always neglect to include plasticware with my food. Today is the fourth or fifth time I have gotten back to work with my lunch and I am unable to eat my salad because there is no fork. Additionally, the exit from the drive-through is not marked so people trying to come into the s parking lot stop in front of the small exit and get very angry if you don't exit into oncoming traffic so that they can enter. This restaurant needs signage to indicate where the entrance and exits are. Again, this is not be first occurrence... It happens all of the time. read more
