We had an amazing repeat experience with First Watch. Seating is generally quick, easy, and spacious. There's a really nice patio area that you can use when the weather is a little bit cooler. **Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and side salad, and an extra side of turkey sausage The eggs were done extremely well! It's gently oozes out after slicing into the yolk, similarly to a sous vide egg or Japanese style onsen egg. Absolutely love the running yolk! The bread underneath soaks up residual yolk and in parts a very nice flavor with the smoked salmon. The salad on the side is excellent for cleansing the pallet with everybody. The dish is well plated and well deserved! The extra side of turkey sausage was warm and not overly salty at all. ** Morning Meditation drink Accommodation of 80% Orange juice, 20% Beets juice. If you are okay with the geosmine flavor profile of the beets, I think it pairs well with the orange but imparting a semi-earthier note. Most of what you'll taste is still going to be orange juice. Really disappointing experience. The server came to our table already speaking in an aggressive tone and was basically yelling while explaining that they "couldn't" make the coffee the way we asked. We simply asked for oat milk and instead of trying to help or offer a solution, she immediately shut it down saying everything was pre-made. The whole interaction felt rude and unprofessional from the start. Then, after only taking two bites of our food, she dropped off the check like she was trying to rush us out. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Ale gave great recommendations and was super knowledgeable about the menu. She checked in at just the right times, made sure our drinks were always refilled, and everything came out perfectly. This was the first time I visited this establishment. There was no one at the front entrance to greet patrons. I ordered breakfast and one pancake. The sausage was burnt was not able to eat it. Don't go here near closing time because the staff seem to stop caring. Ordered a to go order and made the mistake of not checking it. The "toast" was just a cold slice of bread, not toasted and not cut in half. The avocado toast was also just a cold slice of bread with a small amount of avocado on top. Again, the bread wasn't toasted or cut in half or prepared in any way and they half-assly added avocado. Definitely lacking pride in making this order. Went here before in the morning and everything was prepared well, so I'm convinced it's just a time of day issue. They basically gave me unprepared, gross food. read more

The highs: NONE! The lows: We went in today at about 1:30ish. No hostess, so no one to seat us. Plenty of employees walking around but no one paying attention to the 4 people waiting up front (2 food delivery drivers and us) so we're all just standing there. Got seated finally, and sat there for a solid 5 minutes waiting for anyone to walk up and say hello. Finally got a waitress who promptly rolled us off to another server without saying a word about the transition. Food was okay. Not bad but nothing to brag about. They must have been low on cheddar cheese because my 'skillet' seemed like it had just enough to say they added cheese to it. The toast was not toast. It was bread that had a hint of heat to it - just enough to give it a light, light crunch. As we ate I was watching two girls bus tables. The go to the tables, pick up all the dirty dishes, so their fingers are all over the dirty plates and cutlery. I noticed both were sticking their fingers inside the glasses sometimes to pick them up. Then they wipe down the table but nothing else. So apparently the ketchup bottles and salt shakers etc., don't require any sanitation from guest to guest. Then they go get coffee cups using the same hands that just picked up the dirty dishes - and one girl was carrying them with her fingers inside the cups, to place them on the table. So, thats F'ing gross! Got our check and sat and sat and waited and waited with a credit card sitting on the table before our server finally told us that we need to pay up front. I wonder why she didn't say that when she dropped the ticket. Must be hard. Never going back. read more

HORRIBLE experience at this location. We completed an order via DoorDash and never got it. The person working To-Go contacted us to let us know that our order had been given to someone else. When asked how this was going to be resolved, this person was not helpful at all and only solution offered was to speak with manager. The manager was even worse. He proceeded to blame DoorDash and my husband. I am not too sure why either would be to blame since they do not work at the restaurant. Manager then asked my husband to resubmit the order and essentially pay for the order twice. My husband stated he was not going to do this since we had already paid for the order and this was confirmed via DoorDash. Manager insisted that we re-pay for the order. My husband cancelled the order and requested a refund via DoorDash for the $53 we had paid. We waited well over an hour for an order we did not get. This "manager" needs some customer service training and awareness on how orders through DoorDash are processed. There are many restaurants to eat at in the area; the overwhelming lack of customer service is unacceptable. read more

The food here is always great and fresh. Even my toddler likes the food here, the oatmeal, the waffles and the fresh juices are his favorite. I try something different each time and never disappointed. The only thing is that the service can sometimes be slow, not on the waiters but mainly the food takes time to come out. My husband and I walked in there this morning to order breakfast. We were seated by a pleasant young lady. We sat in the booth for 10 minutes, waiting for someone to come and wait on us. The table behind us had just recently got seated and we're already being served the weight staff was just walking around in circles. No one ever came to our table. Needless to say we got up and walked out. I will never go back to this location again. As expensive as food prices are nowadays they do not need my business. This was the first time my fiancé and I have been here. Quite disappointed, actually it just makes me even more mad thinking about how this place presented itself. We chose to sit at the bar for brunch. First we were going to get drinks, but they were out of champagne per our waitress so I ordered an Iced coffee. Not even ten minutes later we watched as two other waitresses made drinks for other tables with freshly opened champagne bottles. The iced coffee is pre-bottled apparently and I don't even think it has coffee in it. It tasted like chocolate milk. I ordered an omelette which was just like anywhere else. Nothing special about it. Toast was just a slice of cold bread with unmelted butter loaded on top. My fiancé got eggs Benedict and they were very cold. Clearly had been sitting out for quite some time which doesn't surprise me because we sat for awhile waiting for our food. I grabbed the managers card because I will be complaining to him as well. Then looking at the email address, it's an address to MacHaik ford. This baffles me as extremely unprofessional. You can't even have a business email address to the business you are running. I will be telling people to avoid this place as it's not worth the money for what you get and we don't appreciate being told they are out of something and then seeing they are not. read more

My hubby and I came in with our 21 month old daughter who is a total foodie like us. I understood the place was busy so knew the food would take a little longer than usual. Well, it took close to 40 minutes....that's just crazy to me. I ordered an omelet with the side salad and my hubby ordered the standard breakfast 2 eggs, toast, hashbrowns and bacon". My omelet was about the size of the inside of my palm. It was the smallest omelette I have ever received for breakfast. I mean maybe 4-5 bites and it was completely gone. The eggs definitely sat under the heater as they were almost dry and had that fake taste to them? They weren't even hot. My omelette came with cheese inside which was solid. Not stringy, not warm, nothing. We got a side of toast....one piece LOL I kid you not. One piece of toast I mean cmon really? And no butter, jelly nothing. Also the "toast" wasn't even toasted it was just a single piece of bread. Good location and ambiance, but please step it up or we won't be back to this location. read more
