Chicken Fried Rice
Marcella G.

Staying in Miami!! This place is a basic fast food type restaurant. Service was basic. We ordered the chicken fried rice and empanadas. The rice was really good had alot of chicken and big pieces of egg, which I like. The empanadas were okay. The filling was very salty and I did t care for it too much. The dough part was good. I ate around the meat filling.

Ceviche, so good! Huge portion.

Food was delicious and authentic. Generous portions and a great value for the price. We had grilled chicken, a pork tamale and ceviche. We couldn't finish it all and took the leftovers "to go." Highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food. Service not too good. To be honest, they were a little rude. But nevertheless, we stayed and enjoyed our meal. Atmosphere, nothing fancy just your typical little restaurant.

It's a fast food kinda. But not exactly kinda place. They do make ur food in the back. The prices are ok but could be cheaper. Almost 20 bucks for this without tiipppppp. It's kinda self service but the he bring the food to your table.. small joint..

This place was right next door to our Hotel. I saw they had pretty good reviews on Yelp so we gave them a try. You place your order, seat yourself and wait on your number to be called. Everything is made to order. We ordered several dishes and they were delicious. The Chicken and Steak were very tender and flavorful, the White Rice was tasty and Empanada very good. Highly recommend.

Came here due to it being within walking distance from my hotel. The food here was very interesting, they had a little bit of everything, stirfry noodles, fried rice, seafood, gumbo, soups, chicken, and steak. I ordered the 1/2 grilled steak with rice and beans, an empanada, and roasted chicken (dark meat). The rice and beans were really good the steak was meh, it was very tough no season at all. The roasted chicken and beef empanada I give a 10/10. I wish I got two empanadas instead of one. The chicken was very tender and seasoned to perfection. You can actually see the chicken being roasted from the kitchen. The sauces for the beef empanada were amazing! If you don't like spicy stuff , I recommend only getting the white sauce. The young fella taking orders was very helpful and answered a lot of my questions considering it was my first time there. Can't wait to try something else on the menu next go round. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

This restaurant was really close to our hotel so based on the Yelp reviews, we gave it a try. The interior is pretty basic, but plenty of seating. You order and pay at the counter and they call your number when your food is ready. The service is quick. The chicken bowls were good. The 1/4 chicken was dry and needed more seasoning. The fries tasted homemade, but could have been a bit more crispy. Prices were decent.

We are here in Miami for an overnight to catch an international flight and didn't want to go far from the Marriott complex so we walked next door after reading Yelp reviews. I ordered the half chicken, saving half for a protein breakfast. It was cooked nicely and the beans and rice were delicious. My husband ordered LOMO SALTADO, as printed out on the receipt. I couldn't find it on the menu. It was sautéed beef with vegetables and rice. He loved the flavors in it. Staff is super friendly and they were quite busy. Inside are booths and cafe tables and chairs. We enjoyed it.

Food: 5 Customer Service: 5 Location/Parking: 5 Affordability: 5 Portion size: 5 Cleanliness: 5 This restaurant is situated right outside the Miami Airport Marriott, and they have a small parking lot on location. The decor is a mix of Mexican images and modernity dining furniture. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone. I had seafood chowder and two beef empanadas, while my spouse got the 1/2 chicken platter. Both of our servings was more than we could had ever imagined, and we wished that we would have shared an entree instead. All their menu options are very reasonable and affordable considering the location. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. It's very clear that the chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful. I'm positive that we will be back in near future when we visit this area again!!!

We are from California and this place was right next to our hotel. My significant other is Peruvian and we always have to try it in new places. Delicious and not greasy. Good flavors! The Maracuya was very good as well. Quick service as well.

#3 - 1/2 Chicken with Rice & Beans - (2nd time here, ate in)

Arrived in Miami one day early for our Cruise and just around the corner from our Hotel was "La Granja Le Jeune" - which is a Chicken, Seafood & Steak place, Latin American Style. A decent number of people here but the line didn't take long. They do have Lunch Specials but I decided on the #3 to share with my Wife. Consist of; 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice, Beans and Plantains with Soda - Ordered 2-drinks. My order came out within seconds (it seemed) - this place is fast. Grabbed some toppings from their Topping Bar and returned to the Hotel. Opened up the container and was pleasantly surprised at how much Chicken is in there and a Big Container of Beans and a Pile of Rice. The Chicken was Very Juicy, Tender and the Flavor was definitely Cuban. Loved those Beans and that Rice was also some Good Stuff - and the Plantains was a Big YES. They seem to serve those everywhere in Miami. On the way back we ate there again, but this time inside and ordered the same thing and it was just as Delicious and Really Fast Service. Their Kitchen must crank out a lot of Chicken & Steak because while we were there the Counter was a constant conveyer belt - with lots of Happy Customers. Noticed a few people ordering Soup and it came in a Bowl large enough to feed a family of four. This place is Awesome.

Fried seafood mixed plate

My seafood craving started kicking in, so grab a snack from this place. When it's busy it's a good thing, Plates very from meats to seafood with soups so there a little bit of everything. Orders were nice size portions and the food came fast. I'd say give it a visit. Sidenote: they deep fried the seafood every well

The chicken was outstanding tonight at this restaurant. It is a 'hole in the wall' and sometimes those are the best places. Once you place your order, the food arrives quickly. There are 3 types of salsa available at the salsa bar stand. I combined the moderate garlic and spicy salsa together, poured it over the chucken and rice, which created a fuller flavor, combined with the black beans and plaintains. Some tables won't be wiped off completely, the rationale for the reduction of 1 star for the overall ranking. If given another chance to be in this area near the Miami Airport, I would visit this eatery again.

We really had never tried Ceviche before, but the online menu really looked spectacular. Our waitress was Angie, and she was fantastic. Such a great personality, and she went out of her way to explain all the details before we ordered. It's actually disappointing that we are just passing through and may never go back, because I would seriously like to try every last item. Rather than bore you with the list of everything we ordered, I'll share what we considered to be the best of the best. CALAMARI... we both love calamari, and we have eaten this dish at many different places. This was the best ever. Perfect. CEVICHE DE SALMON EN CANASTA DE TOSTON... seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever put in my mouth. While we did order both the ceviche camaron and the ceviche trio mixto, the hands-down winner, no questions asked, was the CEVICHE DIVINO. We finished with the TORTA DE CHOCOLATE and the smoothest, creamiest cup of coffee ever. My wife is a chocolate cake expert, and while I was finishing all the ceviche, she was having an out of body experience with the cake. I have to say that while we are borderline foodies and love cooking and eating, we probably are not the most adventurous. So glad today was different, and so thrilled with our decision to eat here. 10/10

It's located in a very unassuming spot, tucked into a parking lot in a slightly industrial area, but don't let that fool you. Inside, you'll find something special. Upon arrival we noticed there was a dinning tent area set up outside which was empty more likely because of the heat as it was really hot out. We ordered the Lomo Saltado which was a bit on the salty side for my taste but the jazmin rice was cooked to perfection. The Pescado a lo macho was ok. I had better. Ceviche was actually good not too tangy. Service was fast.
