Nice place to have a meal if you are staying at the Fairfield South. 2 minute walk to get there. I had the roasted chicken and the food was good. Not at all spicy. You can actually see the chicken being roasted from the kitchen. The sauces for the beef empanada were amazing! If you don't like spicy stuff , I recommend only getting the white sauce. We are here in Miami for an overnight to catch an international flight and didn't want to go far from the Marriott complex so we walked next door after reading Yelp reviews. Arrived in Miami one day early for our Cruise and just around the corner from our Hotel was "La Granja Le Jeune" - which is a Chicken, Seafood & Steak place, Latin American Style. A decent number of people here but the line didn't take long. They do have Lunch Specials but I decided on the #3 to share with my Wife. Consist of; 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken with Rice, Beans and Plantains with Soda - Ordered 2-drinks. My order came out within seconds (it seemed) - this place is fast. Grabbed some toppings from their Topping Bar and returned to the Hotel. Opened up the container and was pleasantly surprised at how much Chicken is in there and a Big Container of Beans and a Pile of Rice. The Chicken was Very Juicy, Tender and the Flavor was definitely Cuban. Loved those Beans and that Rice was also some Good Stuff - and the Plantains was a Big YES. They seem to serve those everywhere in Miami. On the way back we ate there again, but this time inside and ordered the same thing and it was just as Delicious and Really Fast Service. Their Kitchen must crank out a lot of Chicken & Steak because while we were there the Counter was a constant conveyer belt - with lots of Happy Customers. There are 3 types of salsa available at the salsa bar stand. I combined the moderate garlic and spicy salsa together, poured it over the chucken and rice, which created a fuller flavor, combined with the black beans and plaintains. Some tables won't be wiped off completely, the rationale for the reduction of 1 star for the overall ranking. So I went to serve myself some soda with my friend and the girl in the picture mopping was watching a movie on her cell phone & not worried about the customers care. One with the broom and the blonde that was watching a movie on her phone was mopping the floor with a strong mistolin perfumed floor cleaner possibly lavender the smell was so strong it sent me to the bathroom and when I came back they started mopping while I was eating. La Granja is one of my favorite chains in Miami. They have roast chicken and rice meals which are great for families, or delicious peruvian food to order. I always get the ceviche mixto or the pescado a la macho. The food takes awhile to come out, always about 15 min. However that gives you time to get some of their delicious sauces. I am not sure whats in the sauces but they are all super good. They also have some an onion salad / salsa thing that I really like. The seafood rice is super tasty, and you can never go wrong with the pescado a lo macho or ceviche. The ceviche is super fresh and so tasty. Massive portions and great price ! read more

My father brought me here & to be perfectly honest, when I walked in, my first thought was a Peruvian "Pollo Tropical" & not at all what I was in the mood for. The customers were all very clearly tourists (not surprising, since it's so close to the airport & hotels). La Granja means Farm the in English is located near the airport in Miami, new a few hotels, with making it perfect if you are looking for authentic Latina food, a Peruvian with a touch of Ecuadorian and Dominican, a restaurant that has a few option of homemade plates. In this occasion, I order #2 from the menu that is 1/2 Chicken with rice, Maduro's & beans, for me no habichuela porfavor (no beans please), so I had the option to add more rice or Maduro, I added more Maduro's. This is one of the best chicken coal I had eaten in the USA, I must mention that I grew up in the Dominican Republic is hard to find a nice and homemade roast chicken. The chicken is roasted with a delicious and glazed skin. The white and dark meat are both extremely tender and delicious, the side that I had was rice and Maduro's, the portion of rice was plenty and had a homemade, like one of my aunts or my mom cook it. The Maduro's were on point, Maduro's is when the sweet plantains (yellow plantains) are fried only once, Maduro's in Spanish means "ripe". This can be served as a side dish or apps. Servers are very nice, the place is going to the counter making a order, pay and wait until they yell your number, where you pick up your food. read more
