There's nowhere to sit and service is kinda slow, but food was pretty good. I ordered a Media Noche and Churros. Everything comes out hot because it's made to order. Loved the sandwich but I thought the churros were just alright. I wish the churros were a bit thicker and had more sugar. Service was nothing special. read more

I had a really delicious Cuban and passion fruit juice. All while being under construction, the three woman crew manages to make you feel taken care of. I was offered a seat while I waited. Then my food came from the little alley on down to the front. There was some time between me landing in Miami and waiting on my accommodations to be ready. My only regret is not finding this place sooner and wasting my money else where! Seriously, best cuban sandwich in Miami. The Pan con Bistec will be my next option though because that looked Customer service is top notch as well, the ladies working were awesome both times; one even recognized me (idk if that's good or bad ) I met the owner Felix who made appy to be spending my money there! (Support a small businesss!!) They're are also very clean, both times I went I saw them deep cleaning on their free time which is a huge deal, especially in Miami. I am a "Cargo Pilot" which is the same as airline pilot that spends time in the hotels where most of the cargo and commercial pilots stay for overnight and training. Snack Hunter is a good, safe place for you to pick up food to go. The owner and workers speak English and will make sure you are comfortable ordering, especially since they know most of us are out of towners and don't speak Spanish! Very nice folks! The Cuban Sandwich is not like the others near our hotel. The meat is cut off the bone and packed with flavor! I tried others in the area while training there and this one by far beats the competition. A plus for airline crews is that the owner was once in charge of loading our birds and then retired to do this. So he has a pretty good idea of where we come from in the industry. The best thing is that there isn't anything special about the components but it's everything together that tastes delicious. Their midnight sandwich and pork sandwich are also very good. I usually get the steak sandwich with passion fruit juice or the really creamy fruit shakes. The service is fast, efficient and very friendly staff. So if you're short on time, need a quick bite to go and don't want anything too heavy, this is the perfect stop. If you are in the area, this place is a must try. It is located right next to Party City in the big shopping center where there is also the Winn-Dixie. My wife and I had the steak sandwich and it was delicious. It was different than most steak sandwiches out there. I had mine topped with oil and vinegar.
