I was craving a seafood boil and this was available on door dash. Shrimp: pretty good. Flavors were delicious. I got the spicy level which was way too spicy for me. Pho: I thought they would incorporate more of the seafood flavors into the pho but this was just meh. Nothing special. Also, when you pack pho, you should store the broth separately otherwise the noodles soak up all the broth like leaving a marshmallow in hot chocolate for too long. This restaurant in Austin is a Cajun inspired. Both times I went here the place was empty between 6 pm and 8 pm. The wood tables have what looks a trash can to hold the shells of the crawfish. There is a roll of paper towels on the table if things get messy. They also have plastic bibs if things get really messy. I had the fried crawfish and waffle fries. It was decent. It tasted off when it was first brought to our table, but i thought they might have just not been purged before boiling. I only had a few before I just gave up. We got a seafood boil. The worst part of our dinner was that they had no scissors or tools for our shellfish. Only 3 or 4 other tables were occupied so being told that they were out of scissors was surprising. They didn't provide gloves, plates, or place mats so the 4 of us cracking crab legs with our teeth was especially messy! Most of the food was tasty except the potatoes were very bland and we had to dig to the bottom of the bowl for any seasoning. The size was a mixed bag but definitely some big guys in there. My preference is for more heat but I was still very delighted and enjoyed every bite. Crawfish are not cheap so don't go in expecting to pay $10.00. The other parts of the menu looked interesting but more oriented towards keeping year round offers. My boyfriend and I love seafood so we decided to try this place out since it was new to the area. We got snow crab, shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes in their spicy Cajun seasoning. In all honestly the food was REALLY GOOD. We usually go to crawfish shack and oyster bar in south park meadows and I will saw that I feel like this place has better tasting food. The only downside is their service and price. There are no waiters so you order your food at the counter and then they bring it to you. The food was brought out quickly but if you need anything else such as gloves, utensils, bibs, etc it is difficult trying to get the attention of an employee. And then price wise we spent close to $100 including a tip. This place is BYOB so you can also bring in your own beer without running up a tab on alcohol so I feel like that is nice. Maybe in the future their service will improve, since this place is still relatively new.
