If you are looking for poke that is actually like how it is in Hawaii, this is the perfect spot. This is a small establishment with both outdoor and indoor seating. Theres a fair amount of parking in the back which is nice. The fish tasted fresh, sauces were very flavorful, and toppings paired very nicely with the fish! It didn't take them long at all for the food to be ready. I love how it's all incorporated with the fish just like how it's done in Hawaiian style poke. I got the salmon with the yowza yuzu recipe and it was fantastic. I am definitely coming back whenever I am craving poke.

Best poke in Austin in my opinion! It's simple and you get a ton of fish, I love Hawaiian style poke like this.

Went for lunch and got one scoop of spicy tuna with avocado and scallions mixed in - amazing. My favorite poke I've tried around town - it's about $13 or so for the one scoop with rice - pretty good lunch size portion. Would def get two scoops for dinner / if you are really hungry. Service was quick / ordered online and it was ready when I came in and staff was friendly. Some indoor and outdoor seating available too! Pretty cute space inside I will def be coming back - amazing poke!!

One of my favorite poke spots (if not, my fav)!! I love the fact that you can pick between salmon or tuna, or a mix and that you can add either rice as your entire base or mix it with any of their salads (mine was an incredible cucumber salad). I absolutely loved the flavors and additions that i added (avocado and edamame). i do with that the size was maybe a little bit bigger, but i understand its straight cuts of thick raw fish, so makes sense its not a super huge portion. I will definitely keep coming back- i love how nice and friendly the staff is, and how theres inside and outdoor seating, which is perfect for this upcoming weather. Overall a super great visit with amazing poke, will DEFINITELY be back soon. (oh and there's parking)

a cute lil poke shop in austin. the people were super nice and were happy to help us since we took so long to look at the menu lol. great food i loved how fresh the fish was and the ratio of fish to rice to seaweed salad to sauce they put. i would just say the portion was smaller than i expected. if you're really hungry or looking for something to fill you up, somewhere else might be better, but for quality i think this place was pretty good!

Ordered with Uber Eats. I order edamame, cucumber, ginger & avocado add ons. I got none of these. I ordered 2 different bowls. Plain tuna and rice. Small portions. Not the first time I have been disappointed here. I won't be back. Don't bother ordering from here. They are terrible.

Still the best, most authentic poke in the city! Pricy for the portions, but worth it if you simply want genuine poke without too many frills. I usually go for the "large" size bowl (2 scoops + a base), but recently I've felt that the 1/2 LB. of poke + 8 oz. of rice is a better deal (more filling and around the same price as a large bowl depending on what you select). Fast, casual service. Limited seating indoors and on their patio. Happy hour is daily from 4:30-6pm, with $2 off beer, wine, and sake and 10% off poke. My favorites are The OG, Big Jim, and the Yowza Yuzu. Parking is a small, private, one-way lot or street parking. Can't wait to revisit when I feel like splurging a bit on the best quality and flavor poke!

I haven't been here in ages but I went recently and it was good as the first time I've had it! I got the 50/50 Ahi & Salmon with JT Poke sauce and I really enjoyed it.

There are quite a few poke places in austin, but none like poke poke. This is the only poke place I feel confident knowing I'm getting good quality raw fish. I always eat the Lil Ahi Poke JT's style, and it never disappoints. The staff is so kind and welcoming, often remembering me and my order. It's genuinely a great experience. 4 stars because of the price. I feel like every few months it gets more and more expensive. For my small bowl (one scoop of poke and one scoop of white rice) and a drink, it's $17.50 + tip. Definitely a good place to eat if you're not starving, as the portions would be too small (unless you get a pound, which would be upward of $35). But nonetheless, I always come back, the quality and service outweighs the steep pricing.

I've been to Poke Poke at least 10-15 times now, usually as a fallback when I didn't feel like driving to better poke spots in Austin. Nearly every time, I've dealt with issues--wrong orders, missing ingredients, and staff with a consistently bad attitude. Today was the first time they actually got my order right... but then topped it off with unnecessary sarcasm and rudeness. At this point, it's not just a bad day--it's a pattern. I won't be back. There's a reason this place is usually empty. If you're looking for good poke in Austin, I'd recommend Pokeworks on Riverside or Pokeworks near North Campus--both are consistently fresh, accurate, and actually friendly.

Overpriced. I mean way overpriced. Serving portions way too small. Stay away. Fish not fresh at all either.

From the original Sushirrito in San Francisco, to Foodland's poke fare in the islands of Hawaii - I've been there and done all the things. So I'd like to think I know what good poke tastes like: fish tasty enough to eat on its own, sauce that complements rather than overpowers, and just the right amount and flavor of toppings to bring a unique twist to each bowl. One can get a little nerdy about raw fish and I hope to submit my master's thesis one day. Customization is an integral part of the poke experience, and who am I to tell you what to order. Some people don't even put any sauce on their raw fish - and like pope Francis said "who am I to judge that person?" But I simply could not, in good conscience, leave without suggesting this absolute banger, slap my knee, mmh mmh mmmmh, finger lickin good, ask the host for the recipe, delicious poke burrito. Poke (pronounced poh kay) is a traditional Hawaiian dish made with cubed raw fish, usually tuna or salmon, served over rice or greens and topped with sauces and fresh mixed ingredients. The word poke means to cut or to slice in Hawaiian, which describes how the fish is prepared. At Poke House, the build your own bowl format allows customers to fully customize their meal. You choose a base such as white rice, brown rice, salad greens, or a mixed combination, then add proteins like ahi tuna, salmon, shrimp, or tofu, followed by sauces and toppings such as seaweed salad, avocado, edamame, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. You choose a base (white rice, brown rice, salad, half and half, seaweed wrap, or hot Cheetos wrap), pick a protein (number of scoops determines the size), choose a sauce, add as many mix-ins as you want, and then add toppings. SAUCES - Choices include house, spicy house, Korean chili, soy ponzu, garlic miso, sweet ginger, sesame shoyu, and citrus. Descriptions and nutrition information for each can be found on their website. MIX-INS - Choices include corn, cilantro, crab, cucumber, edamame, jalapeños, onion, pineapple, red cabbage, scallions, and seaweed salad. Avocado is an extra $1.50 but you can choose any or all of the others listed included with the price of your bowl. TOPPINGS - Choices include chili flakes, furikake, garlic crisps, ginger, onion flakes, sesame seeds, shredded nori, tempura crisps, spicy mayo, wasabi aioli, and wasabi. You can choose any or all of the toppings included with the price of your bowl. I absolutely LOVE how customizable the bowls are! A lot of poke restaurants limit the number of toppings or charge extra for a majority of the items but this was pretty much all-inclusive. I was able to make my perfect bowl for one set price and left feeling full and satisfied! I randomly stopped here for dinner after searching on the map for a healthy and quick dinner option but it's now one of my favorite places! It can be hard to find nutrition information for a lot of restaurants so I absolutely love that they have it available online. If you love poke, it doesn't get much better than Poke House! Poke House is a really good "go to" for a great poke bowl…read more First, the staff is always patient and really helpful! That is important when there are so many options to choose from. Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall. Trust me on this, Poke House does the job! I've been to this location at least a dozen times. Not once, was I disappointed in the quality and service. I'm so glad that this place is so close to me! Job well done! When you get that tip option on the screen, do what you see fit. Please consider the patience and kindness of the person building your lunch or dinner.
