    Not a lettuce only base

Why is my bowl wrong every single time I order door dash? I don't think it's been fully correct ever. Today I ordered spring mix ONLY for the base got white rice? Missing sauces, missing ingredients. Not going to be ordering from here with how incorrect everything always is.

I love this place!! So happy to find my new poke bowl spot so close to home. You can build your own bowl with unlimited toppings, which I definitely take advantage of. My favorite bowl is to get half brown rice and half lettuce, with half tuna and half salmon. You can even ask them to torch it! I've never tried that, but was impressed to see the person in line in front of me get it! I added ALL the toppings and got the sauce on the side. I've also tried the furikake mac salad, which was delicious! I have gotten it to go both times, but the indoor seating is nice. Their drinks look good too, so I will have to try one of those next time. Friendly employees and good prices too. I will be a regular here.

This is my to go lunch spot in riverside. It is tasty, fresh and lots of option. Location is great. Bonus it is next to the Starbucks. If you never been in Pokeworks, think like it is like Chipotle, but you have raw fish :) You pick your base, than your protein and toppings Service has been always great. Team in this locatiom work hard and their work pays off. Inside is always clean and well lit. My fav bow is white rice / brown rice, salmon & tuna with medium ponzu.

Love this place. Get to order exactly what I want and since I've found the app, order for pickup. The restaurant is always clean and the staff friendly. Food is delicious and consistent which is my type of place. With all the combinations (if adventurous) you've got options. From basic to loaded.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Great price for what you get! Many toppings to choose from that you don't see often or ever at other poke shops including lotus root, tamago, kale noodle, orange slices. I appreciate that they asked how much sauce the customer wants.

Build Your Own Sushirrito (Vegan with Tofu)
    Hannah K.

There aren't many places to get a solid sushirrito out in Texas, but Pokeworks is holding it down with an excellent jumbo sushi roll that always hits. Just get it with tofu and ALL of the plant-based toppings and it's a marvelous, messy, overloaded flavor bomb that satisfies any cravings. In case you need more specific instructions, that means: *Tofu (and some locations still have beet poke as a "protein" option; ask about it!) *Cucumber *Sweet onion *Cabbage *Shredded kale *Edamame *Sweet corn *Pineapple *Hijiki *Mandarin oranges *Cilantro *Serrano peppers *Seaweed salad *Pickled ginger *Green onion *Wasabi *Furikake *Thai chili *Sesame seeds *Avocado (extra but worth it) *Wonton crisps *Shredded nori *Onion crisps *Garlic crisps *Your choice of miso sesame sauce, ponzu fresh, sweet shoyu, umami shoyu, gochujang, or classic salt Yeah, that's a mouthful and a half. Now you get the picture. Of course, you can get that all in a bowl over rice or salad for a less chaotic meal. Don't forget to download the app to save $5 on your first order, too!

Loooove this place! So great and delicious for a quick bite to either order inside or on the app. I usually prefer to order on the app and I like it because you can just select all the toppings without being rushed in line. Not that I'm usually rushed inside, but indecisive and take forever ha you also earn rewards with each purchase. Today I went inside for a 2 protein bowl with brown rice, spicy ahi tuna and salmon. Plus tons of toppings with lots of spicyness! The best!

Poke restaurant with many options! I built my own bowl with spicy salmon and spicy tuna. This was the first place I've seen cream cheese at so I added it to my bowl but I didn't love the contrast in flavor. I appreciate how they toss the veggies and fish in sauce then add to rice. The quality of fish and veggies didn't seam great. I like a crisp and fresh tasting poke bowl. The service was good, the employees were nice but not overly so. The inside had a cute color palette but could have been cleaned up a bit.

Poke Bowl large. Order through the app

My go-to poke place! The portions are big which is relatively rare for poke. I can probably split my bowl into two decent meals (or down a whole bowl in one sitting and I would be STUFFED). The portions and the quality really stand out. There's a ton of toppings to choose from and the poke is quite good. The store itself is also HUGE. I haven't dined in (yet!) but there's ample seating and the lighting is great. Another huge reason I will be loyal to Pokeworks is their app. I didn't realize it was a chain, but thank goodness it is! I have only had the app for ~3 weeks and I have gotten multiple deals. I'm glad for all the deals because the reward system is spend $99 for $9 off which isn't fantastic. But I went on a day they had double points when spending a minimum of $15 so I ordered two bowls and bam had earned almost $60 in points. Maybe the $9 off $99 isn't too bad when put into perspective like that. Since they have an app, you can also order through it which is convenient and I have used it on one occasion. Very smooth and my order was accurate. Maybe just not as full of a bowl as when I went in person. Lastly, the service wasn't anything amazing. I'm not too picky on service hence why this is still a 5 star review. No one greeted us when we walked in and we awkwardly stood at the start of the line while someone prepared bowls in front of us that were mobile orders. A second server came up after and I awkwardly started my order. I'm awkward myself so I don't dwell on that too much but it's something to note if it's important to you.

From the original Sushirrito in San Francisco, to Foodland's poke fare in the islands of Hawaii - I've been there and done all the things. So I'd like to think I know what good poke tastes like: fish tasty enough to eat on its own, sauce that complements rather than overpowers, and just the right amount and flavor of toppings to bring a unique twist to each bowl. One can get a little nerdy about raw fish and I hope to submit my master's thesis one day. Customization is an integral part of the poke experience, and who am I to tell you what to order. Poke House is a really good "go to" for a great poke bowl…read more First, the staff is always patient and really helpful! That is important when there are so many options to choose from. Patrons are making a ton of choices from all of the great options and, it can be time consuming. Today, I stopped by to pick up 2 bowls. Each had VERY different ingredients and sauces. The employee was patient and very accommodating. I was reading, off my phone, the options that my sister chose. Then, giving the options that I chose for the second bowl. He didn't skip a beat. Even more frustrating for him, I think, was asking for all of the sauces on the side. He didn't seem to mind. He graciously put all of the sauces in little cups. He also labeled them with a Sharpie. Nice touch! Before I move on with the review, I'd like to offer a suggestion for the side sauces. If you are taking your order to go, the sauce containers will ultimately tip over in the bag, on the way home. Although the containers are of good quality, the sauce often leaks out. Perhaps adding a quick wrap of Saran Wrap (or the like), would aid in keeping the multiple sauce containers from tipping over in the bag, on the way home. The fish has always tasted fresh! Not once have I eaten here and complained about the quality! Sometimes we don't want to go to a sushi restaurant to get good raw fish. It's also hard to trust a poke restaurant in a strip mall.
