Ok. The twins went on and on about how yummy this spot is, so we decided to stop by and give it a try. I want to say now that the staff is super sweet and doing a great job with customer service - 5 star service, hands down. I got the chicken fried rice. I was expecting chicken friend rice (veggies, egg, a little soy sauce, some chicken and yummy spices). What I got was mushy rice and chicken drowned in soy sauce that was just inedible. No veggies. No egg. Arroz con pollo, weird Asian drowned in soy sauce style dish. I do want to come back and give it another try and hopefully update this review with a "wow, I just came on a night where things were off!" So, we will see. Tried this place after a night out on the town. It was difficult locating where the truck was going to be, but after texting the business we were able to track it down! HUGE portion sizes. Easily got 3 meals out of the dinner. Unfortunately not much space for sitting and eating, and they also ran out of plastic ware but we came pretty late (not mad though because it's hard finding food trucks that are actually open late) and had to take our food home to eat. I don't understand how people rate this place well. I guess most of these purchases were late at night and memories are fuzzy in the morning. Sure it tastes pretty good and the portions are large but it's almost all rice! Rice might cost a penny an ounce in bulk and they charge a fortune for a bunch of rice a few vegetables and a fair amount of meat. At least add some vegetables.
