Made an appointment for a gel manicure because I have been having trouble finding a salon like the one I used to go to in California. I was able to make a next day appointment with the price quoted. On arrival the atmosphere was calming and familiar. I picked a few colors of gel and the man who was going to be doing me nails ( i later assume was the owner) showed me which colors would be opaque and helped me to get the perfect color I wanted. Immediately loved this place after my first time. Got in quickly & thankfully as a walk in, they had tons of colors to choose from for my gel. Got a basic pedicure and it honestly was the best pedicure I've had in a long time!! Even better than when I've splurged at other salons in the past. She took her time, and was very precise & KIND. I went here because the nails pictured looked good. I went to Vivian and she was awful. Very rude. After one day my nail broke - I get my nails done every 2 weeks and have never had this happen. They finally fit me in to get it repaired and she was rude and loudly blamed me for breaking it. They over charge and the pictures are not an accurate representation of any work I saw by her. Days later, not even a full week, I have two broken nails because of how thin they were done at pro nails. Phillip fixed and reshaped my nails to add strength and actually took the time to make sure I liked them! Absolutely love la Belle and super affordable!! Kinda sloppy. The lady that did my nails didn't file my nails evenly. I had to ask her to file my nails again. She did my thumb but didn't file the rest of them so when I got home, I had to file them myself. There's a lot of polish on the sides of my nails. Since I got the gel polish, I can't just brush the sides with acetone. Also, when she buffed out my old gel polish, she just prayed my hand with water and didn't make me wash my hands and I saw under the UV light that there was a lot of nail dust and some old gel polish on my hands still. She also didn't push back my cuticle. I could've done a better job. I don't think I'll come back. read more

The pedicures I've received here have been very good. I have no complaints about them at all. My problem is that I find myself feeling sad every time I'm in the salon due to the very large fish that is in a tank much too small for it to swim around. It is basically fish abuse and I won't be going back until/unless they get a much bigger tank for the fish or donate him to an aquarium where he has room to swim. The water in the tank doesn't even look clean. Why do you need to have a trapped, sad fish as part of the decor? I am telling all of my animal loving friends to stay away. It's just not necessary to have such a pitiful thing in the salon. I will be looking for a place where I can have my nails done without the added layer of angst for the fish. read more

I was so pleased to see beautiful nails that I knew would last until I needed a fill. She hand painted all of the designs and took her time to make sure I was happy with every step. Love love love my nails whenever I have them done at La Belle Nails I live in New York now, but whenever I go home to see family I stop by La Belle Nails for a gel overlay. Wendy always does an amazing job! I have also taken my grandmother (who has Alzheimer's and dementia = no patience) in with me a few times. My gel nails take longer than my grandmothers pedicure so they always give her a longer massage because then she does not get frustrated and anxious to leave. My grandmother is also diabetic and they are able to take care of her toes no problem, which some nail salons in Reno have issues with. Great place for a Mani & pedi!!! read more

I've frequented LaBelle Nails for years. Every nail artist is great. I usually get a traditional mani/pedi and have no complaints. They are a family run business, are careful with sanitation, and the salon is well ventilated, unlike many places I've been. On my most recent visit, Tom gave me the best foot/leg massage ever! I was really disappointed with my last experience at La Belle. I used to come here all the time before the pandemic. Since then, the owners have changed. The nail salon is so dirty. Everywhere you look there are dust and nail particles that have piled up. The lady who painted my nails (owner) didn't change her gloves before working on my nails. Her gloves were stained yellow and she did not change the nail towel between clients. It was a major turn off. There was also no massage with the gel manicure. She put on some lotion and called it a day. Really disappointed about this experience and will not be back here. They need to do some deep cleaning. I'm from out of town so probably a nobody, but asked for cheetah accent nails and wasn't told until last minute that they couldn't freehand, so she did a stencil that wasn't even cheetah and it looked awful. I upgraded to a lux pedi, which honestly the hot wax felt like it could burn my feet, and I had to file several of my toe nails once I got home. Plus, I got a bruise on my foot where she massaged. Also, they use cheese graters for the calluses and I feel like at this point in 2021 salons should know better. My gel mani, they used one of the electric machines to take off the nail polish, so no soaking and it just burned like no other. I sat and watched her paint over multiple nails that's were not filed properly and did such a thin layer that 3 of my nails have broken already. I called ahead and had an appointment. I had my 9 year old with me and requested manicure and pedicure for both of us. The lady that did mine was 30 minutes late getting there. Someone put my feet in the water while we waited. I told her my Granddaughter wanted a pedicure also. She said Yes. I was never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. Did not massage my calves or put lotion on. Wearing a mask by everyone is required. Her mask was made from a paper towel! After several requests my granddaughter had polish put on her toes and nails. More than once, I had requested a salon pedicure and manicure for her also. After my manicure she did not even put lotion on. This was the absolute worst Pedicure/Manicure I have ever had. On top of that it cost $55.00. I will never go back and cannot recommend them. read more

I have had several pedicures here and love them. Hannah does a great job and so does everyone else! I am in the beauty industry and am very picky about cleanliness. They are clean, i always judge by the restrooms as well, clean. This is not a fancy nail spa, it is efficient, comfortable and busy. The leg and foot massage you get with your pedi is awesome! They also light cure your paws before you leave. Great touch. The negative reviews I read sound very uneducated and I believe these particular clients will never be happy anywhere. read more

My friend has gone here before so she took me in for a birthday pedicure. The first one I had was in a small town and the lady was horrible, so my friend wanted to treat me to a real experience. For essentially my first pedicure, I loved it. The ladies doing our pedi's were extremely nice, they didnt talk to us except a couple questions on what we wanted. The massages lasted forever! We got flowers and my lady gave me mini art pieces, I had branches and 3 different colors, my friend also got three colors accenting her flowers. I ended up hitting my foot on a chair leg b/c i had no idea I was supposed to sit at the table w/ the uv drying thing, and my lady took me back and fixed my one toe I hit! And wasnt even mad!
