This shop is really close to me so I wanted to give them a try. I always check reviews and I had seen pretty good ones so I chose to stop in here. The folks that work here are so nice and they listen to what you need. My problem is with the quality of what I ended up with. I wanted so much to give a really good review here. Sadly, I can't do that. I asked for a seemingly simple design, but the information was not relayed or absorbed well so that didn't happen. What I ended up with was still a very pretty cat eye. The problem with the whole thing is that the next day, my polish started peeling. Dark colors take longer to set and this has a black base. The black base had not cured completely, and was now pulling up. I figured out what the problem was and I pulled up the layer of polish and got some alcohol on it so that it wouldn't get sticky everywhere. I would have gone back to the shop so they could fix it, but they were closed as it was a Sunday. I was willing to give them a chance to fix it. Now today, two days later, it's happening again. I have all these supplies at home so I'm going to just take care of it myself. Why didn't I do this all myself? Because sometimes it's nice to have someone else pamper you and do it for you. I know I'm exceptionally picky, and I need to just do it myself going forward. My notes to the shop here are, please watch how thick you're putting on the polish and please make sure that it cures all the way before you go to the next step. I don't mind having paid for the full set because the shape of them is exactly what I wanted. It was just the polish that was a problem. I had a great experience here! I called ahead and they told me to come right in, which was super convenient. When I arrived, everyone was so nice and welcoming. There were two people working and both were very friendly and attentive. As soon as I sat down, they offered me a drink and made sure I was comfortable. I was also given several color choices to look through, which made it easy to pick exactly what I wanted. I ended up a getting gel nail pedicure, and everything turned out beautiful. The pedicure was especially relaxing. I chose the orange scent and they actually used real oranges and rose petals, which made it feel really fresh and luxurious. It was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel extra special. The salon was clean, calm, and the service was excellent. When I first walked in the staff working was busy giving pedicures, the did immediately acknowledge me, they offered me a beverage and handed me the books to choose a nail color. I had my nails done with Gel X extensions, these are unlike acrylic nail tips as the Gel X are flexible nails that glue over your entire nail where the acrylic are just tips that get filled in with powder. The Gel X tips are flexible and so far seem to adhere well to my nails. The nail guy did a great job in scoring my nails as well as the Gel X nail before adhering my my nails with a bonder type glue. He was very thorough with filing, I had them cut short but may need to have them cut shorter next time (not because he did a bad job but because I'm not used to longer nails). I had them file to a coffin shape but kept it subtle in the shape. I never felt rushed and am happy with how meticulous he was with my nails. I will definitely be back when I need a new nail color/design and need them trimmed down. I'm really hoping these hold up well as I believe I have finally found a place that is able to properly prep the nails but we shall see how they hold up as I've always had issues with other nail places years upon years ago with nails lifting and gel polish chipping. read more

Once I came in, I was already being patient with them helping others. So I decided to go next door and get boba. Came back and they said you came back you can sit anywhere you like. Sat down and still waited 5-10 minutes. Ok no problem. Started the services with the man I believe Kevin. When he is almost done he says oh she is going to switch with me as if he can't finish with me and my service just because someone came in that was a usual and he assisted her right away. The lady that switched with him even burned me with the towel!! I told her too hot !! Too hot!! Very disappointed left the store crying!! Never coming back !! Horrible experience!! I've frequented this establishment for years. Mainly when it was owned by a different couple. I went in today for a pedicure and brought my own polish. The technician did a nice job so I asked for a manicure since they weren't busy. I used their polish this time. The polish was sticky so the technician added some acetone to it. Not only did this made the polish sticky. Even after the technician fixed two nails the rest bubbled and didn't dry. I didn't have time for another polish because I had another appointment. Tip Toe Nails is top notch! My husband and I had an amazing mani/pedi. They offer a complimentary drink with your pedicure! I was thinking a glass of water but, no, my husband had a margarita and I had a delicious pot of green tea. I know a Reno nail salon that charges A LOT for their drinks. It was a very nice touch. We found the price to be extremely reasonable. The technicians took their time. We didn't feel rushed or "under a time restraint." We have found our new place for our nails. They are under new ownership as of a couple months ago and they are Wonderful! They should have changed the name due to the horrible previous owners. They were so bad but the new owners are so nice, pleasant and do a wonderful job. Give them a try and you'll see! Used this business for many, many years and my children gave me a gift certificate under the previous owner. Have talked to the previous owner and was assured that the gift certificates would be honored under the new management. Contacted the new management and the manager was extremely rude and unhelpful and refused to honor the gift certificates. There is no expiration date and they are valued at $150. That is no small amount. The Goodwill of a business is worth far more than $150. The manager refused to give us the owner's name, refused to help us, took down the business license and refused to display it to us which I don't even think is legal but I'm not sure about that. The business card clearly says that their gift certificates are welcome. I would like the owner to contact us and honor the gift certificate which is the only good business decision he could make. read more

This used to be Tina Nail. Tina sold it, but she and her husband Tony still work there. Tina does great nails, and Tony does great pedicures. The place got a complete makeover. New pedicure chairs, paint, manicure tables, etc. They raised their prices, though. I've included a picture of their prices. But I guess prices are going up everywhere. And there is a fee if you use a credit or debit card. That kinda pissed me off. I'll keep going there as long as Tina is there. She's fast and good. Also, it's close to my house. read more

I've been here twice for a pedicure. Each time they've been so incredibly kind and attentive always making sure to ask if I want a beverage. Each time I've had a sweet pregnant woman (I wish I'd gotten her name) and my service was just incredible! She gave me the best leg and foot massage I've ever had during a pedi! She truly knows the parts of the foot, ankle, and shin to hit just right. I've left feeling so good and relaxed afterwards. I'm not much of a talker when I get my nails done, I prefer to zone out or watch TikTok and she fully respects that but still grabbed my attention when needed. She did a great job on my nails too! She took her time and ensured that she got all of the dead skin off before putting the polish on. I only brought enough for a 20% tip, but I went to the ATM and got more because she absolutely deserved it! I recommend calling to make your appt because it seems they're still working out some kinks in their online service. I feel like all small businesses have been there, and it's worth supporting them since they do such a great job! read more

This establishment used to be called Tina Nails, but recently new management took over and the salon had a complete makeover! It looks much better than before, and is very clean and stylish inside. I went in for a walk-in pedicure appointment and had a great experience - I was served right away, was offered refreshments, and had a lovely, relaxing time. Don't waste your money! It was quick and they did not take care of the callouses. We thought we would give it a shot but we were not very pleased...they had their little kids running around and they didn't have much to say at all... so bottom line.. we gave it a shot but never going back!!! read more

After giving this place multiple tries I can say I won't be going back. They're too gentle with the calluses and massage. Sure my polish looks good, but $45 for a good paint job and not much else is not worth it. I was cut while they do my cuticles twice now. Only reason I gave three stars is cuz I take my daughter and they're always so sweet with her and paint her nails for free. read more
