Price- I did my full arms $35 and brows ar $20 not including the 20% off from Yelp. For the Reno area and what felt to be higher end products she used I found it to be a good value. Service- this is a one-woman shop but I found the technician sweet charming and genuine. She seems to have a very strong focus on the best care possible which I can appreciate. Owner had me lay on an old bedspread that was certainly not changed between clients for goodness knows how long. All the owner did was repeatedly rub a greasy mixture over my face for 45 minutes. The owner asked me dozens of personal questions and I felt obligated to answer to be polite. While I was answering her questions she kept getting the greasy mixture on my teeth and I still have a chemical taste in my mouth despite the fact that I rushed home to rinse my mouth out with mouth wash a half dozen times. The owner made a production of asking for medical paperwork to be filled out prior to the appointment and never even mentioned this paperwork despite the fact that I do have medical conditions. I have had hundreds of facials in my life and this was by far the worst. It was not refreshing or relaxing and I actually feel a bit traumatized. Not sure how or why the owner has received such glowing recommendations from so many people. If she doesn't want new clients she probably should just say that she is not accepting new clients at this time. I am simply baffled at how ridiculous the entire experience was. A cut that adds movement, bounce and flow head and shoulders above the rest. Never had this fabulous of a cut before. My hair is long, thin and almost waist length. The color is perfection. After contacting numerous local salons who were too busy to call back or had no openings I was skeptical about my ability to find someone to replace my former colorist and stylist. I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and had a great experience with Brea. I had expressed that I was I was feeling a bit self-conscious and anxious and Brea helped me feel less so with her calm and professional manner. (Side note, she likes to read so I found talking about books with her to be a great way to distract myself). It sounded like Brea had waxed a number of pregnant ladies already in her waxing career so that was reassuring. I thought she did a phenomenal job. I swear it wasn't as painful as waxing for me in the past had been and I was really happy with the results. I had forgotten my jacket but the company even texted me so I could return and get it. Excellent service all around. I also really liked the studio. It was clean inside and there were a lot of cute signs and things to look at that fit with the bee theme. I do wish they could have decorated the ceiling somehow as that was mainly my view during the service-- perhaps a dangling bee garland would be cute? I will say I wish they had an extra curtain or partition of some sort (what are those called, a Japanese room divider?). You enter through a door and then they pull the curtain closed to cover the door. Maybe they could put one more curtain perpendicular to that one at the foot of the bed just to give a little bit more sense of peace of mind regarding privacy.
