During my visit, there were conversations about drinking and other topics that I felt were inappropriate and unprofessional for a business setting. The atmosphere made me uncomfortable and did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect when paying for a service. In addition, I was unhappy with the final result of my nails. While I appreciated the kindness of the technician, the quality of the work and the overall environment did not meet my expectations. Worse Pedicure ever. No cuticle work, barely a massage and the gel polish job was like a student did it, Not completely on the Nail. Plus they don't clean the pedicure bowls very well. ​I would not recommend this Nail Salon. read more

Been going here on & off for the past 8 years and they never disappoint. They have a very friendly and outgoing staff. They offer walk ins (which worked out great for me today since I forgot to make an appointment) I would definitely recommend to schedule an appointment though. I've had gel nails & acrylics done here and my nails never lift or chip. The longest I've gone with my nail done here is a little over 3 weeks and then I can't stand looking at the growth. read more

I was in need of a manicure. Luckily they had an opening within 20 minutes from my home. My apologies for not knowing the manicurist's name to give him kudos for an amazing manicure. There were several customers receiving manicures/pedicures and of course chatting about their Thanksgiving holidays. The lady sitting just a few feet away complimented me saying I have nice pretty eyes. I appreciated the compliment. My manicurist filed my nails to a respectful length and polished them with a pretty speckled pink. Must be my favorite color!! I plan to return to Safari Nails again. read more

I had an appt. on Wednesday afternoon June 30, 2021 to get acrylic nails and a pedicure by Friday one acrylic nail had to be replace. Then on Sunday the next nail came off. I call the shop on MOnday which was as holiday and left a message. Tuesday afternoon I did not hear from Safari nails so I called them. The same female answered the phone and said she got my message called me back but nobody answered - She said, " I tried to call you back" My response was, " why, didn't you leave a message?" at this point, she proceeds to put on a show for people at the nail salon and begins to raise her voice at me and says, " I don't talk to me like that" I try to explain to her that I am not happy with the services provided and I need to speak to a manager ( sadly, i think she as the manager/owner) . Anyway, she hangs up on me and when I call back a man answered and tells me to get out of there!!! I love this place. I have been coming here for years. About 10 to be specific. I have always went to Hong who is the owner and I absolutely love her. I recently moved to Sacramento and I still drive up to Reno to have her do my nails. I won't go to anyone else because I trust her and I know she will do a great job.
