I came in to get an acrylic fill and to try a new spot that was closer to my house. my tech's name was John and he was AMAZING! so sweet and so friendly. I told him I was wanting to do a basic French tip and he suggested I do ombré for the tips. I'm SO glad I took the recommendation from him because they look gorgeous! John even cleaned up my cuticles since they get pretty destroyed bartending. I will definitely come back to get a fill her from John and a pedicure. Thank you!!! read more

This was my third visit to City Nails. The first two times were decent, so I went back because it's close to home and the staff is usually friendly. But this visit was a disaster. The nail tech I got did a terrible rough and sloppy job--easily the worst pedicure I've ever had. She overcut several of my nails and buffed and filed without paying attention, which left my toes irritated. My nails are uneven, the polish is messy, and she ignored my request for a square shape. She kept piling on lotion without wiping it off, didn't exfoliate properly, and barely rinsed my feet. I had to ask her twice to stop and wipe off the lotion with a towel. Then she charged me an extra $5 for a broken nail. She's older with glasses and short hair. She was rude. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow, and I'm honestly embarrassed to wear open-toed shoes. The woman was rough, my nails look sloppy and she literally hustled me out of there. Seriously, in and out in 40 minutes to have a pedicure that usually lasts well over an hour. I've been to this shop a couple times I'm from out of town it's close to my son and granddaughters home. Today my 13 year old granddaughter had a picture on her phone that she wanted done on acrylic nails very intricate I explained to Her it may be a decals so she may have to compromise. They always do a great job with my nails I love the designs and they get the acrylic shapes right, but they always over book themselves. Whether it be there's not enough staff or trying to take too many people at once? It's calm and peaceful, but that doesn't mean I want to be there waiting forever like their phone constantly going off to the point where they have to pause all the time. I understand you get busy, but could I suggest a scheduling system online for appointments? I lasers suggest going here, but making sure you book an appointment ahead of time to really secure your spot and yes that usually means to call. They will take care of you. Too bad zero stars isn't an option. I've been coming here for almost a year and I always had a great experience til today. My appt was at 2pm and I was told by who I assume is the manager (short hair lady with ugly bangs and salt/pepper hair color) that Shan-my pedi tech- was running late but that there was someone else available if I wanted to get started on time. I told her I was in no rush and that I would wait for Shan. I was sitting at the front and figured I could go wait at the massage chairs while Shan finished her other client. I then proceeded to ask the same lady if it was ok to go seat at one of the massage chairs. She literally yelled at me and said "NOO! I TOLD YOU SOMEONE ELSE WAS AVAILABLE AND YOU DIDNT WANT THEM SO NOW YOU WAIT AT THE FRONT UNTIL SHAN IS READY" I was appalled by her reaction and told her that there was no need for her to yelled at me and/or scold me like if i was a little kid and that she was absolutely rude! It is a shame that this is the person they have as a manager because all the other ladies are really nice and friendly. I really like my Pedi Tech but I would not give my business to an establishment like this. read more

Came back again to give it another shot.it was a mistake I wish 0 stars was an option do not come here if you want a decent set. All my nails were crooked beside my thumbs and access glue was left all over the nails and the top coat was super stick like it was years old. Staff was not friendly at all they didn't even acknowledge me when I walked in and took 1 hour to do a full set of white nails! Very upset and disappointed. I've been coming for several months and thought this was going to be my "go-to". After a few scheduling issues (them giving me a time, me coming in and it being too busy) I was finally seen. 1. I had an appointment at 3 and needed to be out the door at 350-4. I told them this when i got there. A fill takes 30-40 minutes. 2. I was seen at 320 (not a big deal except I was later blamed that the poor job they did was because I rushed them). 3. 1.5 hour after leaving two of my nails chipped / broke (gel nails with gel polish). Again, NO BIG DEAL, it happens. 4. Came back the next day for a fix and was treated so poorly from the main lady i go to (who i tip very well) "We don't have time, you need to come back. This is because you rushed us yesterday and because your nail did connect to the gel". I told her that i came in at 3 and wasn't seen until 320 and that the day before i also left bc their were four people ahead of me when i showed up for a scheduled appointment. She told me to come back at a later time. I explained that i work night shift and won't be able to come back until tomorrow. She shrugged. She also shrugged off the other lady who came to help me and said "no, she needs to come back" Very disappointed. Will not be going here again. $35 dollars (plus $10 tip) for a nail job (gel fill) i have to have redone somewhere else. read more

Very bad experience. My 10 year old daughter and I went for manicures. We both got cut pretty bad by 2 different people. Nobody asked us what shape we wanted our nails trimmed and mine did not go with the natural shape of my nails. She gave me short, square nails. Mine also left the edges of my nails very rough so they are catching on everything. I didn't want to be rude so I didnt say anything and it was expensive. We will NOT be back there. they didnt even say sorry for cutting us. We are both bleeding. read more

I went in for a spa pedicure and full French manicure set for my baby shower and the lady was extremely rushed and when I would nicely say can you please fix this, she wouldn't even respond. Every single nail has paint on the sides of my fingers. I can't believe I didn't know about this place. I frequently come to this shopping center and never seen this place. It's a little hidden gem. Came in late night for pedis before a crazy work week. The ladies are very nice and super friendly. I was way too relaxed! The atmosphere is very quiet but it was nice especially while winding down from a busy weekend. I feel I got a lot for what I paid for. I got the #3 gel pedicure. It was amazing! Hot towel massage, stone massage, wax, an amazing massage and very nice gel pedicure. I forgot to ask but I usually ask for a glass of wine when I go for pedicures. The entire time the ladies were so friendly and very talkative with me. I love that! I paid $70.00 plus tip. I always love getting the gel pedicure, as it lasts forever on my toes. The staff here is very nice and they are reasonably priced. I'm absolutely appalled by my experience today. I went in for my first pedicure after a double foot surgery 2 months ago. when I walked in they were immediately rushing me to pick a color and sit down. once in the chair I she didn't say one word to me. she was extremely aggressive when doing my cuticles. Once it came to the bottom of my feet it got worse. she was using the skin grater so hard. I kept pulling my foot away and telling her repeatedly that it hurt and i recently had surgery and she didn't care. Anytime she wanted me to move my foot she would pull on it instead of asking me. she rubbed lotion in and that was the whole massage, maybe 5 minutes for both feet. She painted my nails and immediately tried to put my flip flops on without anytime to dry. I was holding my foot up for her. She then messed up my big toe with the strap from my shoe. She got so angry and HIT me in the side of my leg and yelled bend. I was almost in tears. My nail polish looks horrible and the bottom of my feet are still burning from how hard she scrubbed them. Not to happy with City Nails. More like City Nail Fail. Didn't really get a warm and fuzzy feeling upon entering. The nail technician asked me to pick a color for pedicure. Then I stood in the middle of the shop after getting the color for a few minutes, when all the pedicurist looked at me and I had to ask if I should go back and sit in the waiting area or where would they like me. The pedicurist sat me in the corner and filled the tub. I adjusted my seat and I was a little uncomfortable trying to figure out what was scratching me. It was the torn up seat and arm rest. Trying to let it go and just relax, I go to start the massager on the chair and it doesn't work. I then started to press every single button to get it to work and finally some movement on the massage chair. Tried to pull back the chair because my toes were scrunched in the foot bath, but it didn't move. I was a little shocked that the pedicurist didn't ask me if I was comfortable, but she did ask if the water was ok and then walked away. The massage on the legs was just ok, but she did do a great job on the paint for the pedicure. It was nice and neat and my toes looked pretty again after a week of hiking. I then went to get a manicure, but it was a really sloppy job. The shop to me wasn't really relaxing and for some reason I just didn't get a very good vibe from the place. I most likely will not return, because this is the first time I couldn't wait to get out a nail shop. Ended up paying $45 for pedicure and manicure and $54 total with tip. Striking up a conversation with the pedicurist, she ended up being really sweet and I really dislike not leaving a good review, but I think they need to work on customer service and getting new pedicure stations, or at least putting people in the nice chairs when they aren't busy. They had three people getting a pedicure and six chairs, so they could have easily put me in a station that wasn't ripped up. Not the place to go to relax for a pedicure or to walk out feeling like you went to a professional. read more

I love this place. I come here all the time and for $30 I get an amazing Pedicure. This place has the BEST pedicures I have EVER HAD... And thats alot. They do a lotion AND oil massage all the way to your knee!! AND a hot towel treatment. The massage chairs are new and HUGE :) They always remember my name. My HUSBAND loves it too. If your feet are funky, stop in here and leave with them looking fabulous! I swear Hong gave me one of the best leg/feet rubs of my life. I left with my legs tingling! I love being able to drop in whenever I realize my feet could use some special attention. The weather has started warming up again so I am back to getting my pedis. They also offer appointments if you like coming in at a specific time. Gotta keep those piggies polished to perfection when showing them off in some snazzy sandals! I only had a five minute wait on this visit. I love sitting in the massaging chair with a good book while my feet soak in the hot water. This is my time to relax. I read while my feet go from rough and tumbled to perfectly polished. Everyone needs some "me" time and this is a fantastic place for it. I went to City Nails to get a standard pedicure and a gel manicure so I looked nice for a wedding I was in. The pedicure felt great, and my feet were beautified. The reason for my 3 stars is my gel manicure. When she finished, I noticed three of my nails weren't fully covered by polish. It wasn't just a little bit of the side of each nail, it was a solid portion that was noticeable. One nail wasn't even painted in a straight line. I showed her afterwards and she fixed it for me, which I appreciated. However when you're paying $60+ dollars for a really basic manicure, you shouldn't have to ask for them to be finished. Considering how basic my request was, I might need to look elsewhere to get my nails done. read more
