Called and asked if they could take me short notice; Tia was able to accommodate and gave me an appointment for 20 mins later. This was my first time going in since under new ownership and I am very impressed. Clean, updated environment with light music playing in the background. I chose to get a Fruit Pedicure and my was it nice. I appreciate that Tia took her time, did the scrub, added lemons to my soak, hot towels and hot stone massage as well. You definitely get your money's worth and I love the fact that the conversation with others was friendly and interesting. I think I found my new go to pedicure spot. What I love is not lingering in a nail salon. My chick had me and and out! I was there for maybe 30 minutes! She did all of the things, I got the Deluxe pedicure which had hot stone massage, scrub, and mask. It was $5 additional for gel polish. The place is super clean, they put the liners in the tub, use sterilized nail kits which appear individualized. It was $55 for gel plus pedicure. I heavily recommend going to this place. I'm new to going to this salon and the vibe is phenomenal to start of with! Super friendly techs and I haven't experienced any rude employees. Tia, is the absolute best and I love getting my nails done by her. She's so professional and listens to what I want and anything that's wrong and goes above and beyond my expectations. However... when I got my initial Acrylic set I was extremely disappointed. Ellie did my nails the first time and the tips were placed incorrectly, i had ski slopes for nails, I had a huge divot in the polish on my thumb nail (yes I have pictures of that too not pictured here), uneven shaping and lengths, and so much more. She didn't even finish up my service as she went to another customer and she had another tech watch over my top coat and final check. Needless to say I had to get my first fill not even a week of having that set. When I got my fill I said I wanted to shorten the length and that never happened and each nail was a different shape it felt like. The next day one of the nails broke off and I went to get it fixed and hour+ before google said they closed and someone put an ungodly amount of glue on that finger and told me to come back tomorrow. I did of course and that's when Tia first touched my nails and it's been amazing ever since. I have tiny pinkie nail beds and my left pinkie has been lifting on and off since my initial set. Yesterday I was in excruciating pain since trying to remove it as I suspected there was severe damage to my nail bed (from the length that has grown I would assume this was ongoing underneath from when Ellie first did my nails) and I asked to have the nail drilled OFF and possibly replaced or at least protected depending on the damage because I needed answers since I've never had acrylics hurt that bad when lifting. someone who wasn't Tia just clipped around the lifted edge and redid the acrylic. Today I write this review that is well overdue (my apologies for how long and in depth this is) because the nail was lifting once more and I took matters into my own hand to carefully detach the acrylic from my nail to find the line pictured below of a split in my nail going all the way down to the skin under my nail. Don't watch the video if you have a weak stomach as it showed how moveable and vulnerable everything is. I'm sad to say I've had all these problems in the span of 3 sets (a month on the nose from today's date) but rest assured Tia is amazing and a half as mentioned before!! Maybe I just have poor luck and timing when I've come into the salon, but I haven't had this many problems from one place in all the times I've gotten a set. read more

I've been going to DIVA for a few years now. Natalie was fantastic, but moved away a few months ago. I was really debating trying a different salon after a few unfortunate fills (I keep my nails short and square) but decided to give it one last chance. Today, Emily did my nails for the first time. The technician was trying to do 3 people at once! 3. Also did full set nails and the technician was also rushing throughout as and was rude. The nails were poorly done. Overall just a terrible experience. Some people walked out because they just kept saying 10 more minutes 10 more minutes even though the wait time was more than that. Will not be going here again. So as you can see it's breaking from the middle because the technician didn't fill and smooth the sides right and it's breaking from the place where there is not enough filling. Went back to Diva Nails and had a gel manicure done by Vu who was awesome. Holy smokes, that girl can bust out a fantastic gel manicure in 40 minutes. I was impressed. When I realized after my first coat of gel that I had picked the wrong pink, she fixed them for me. I was super grateful. Will definitely be back to see Vu. I also made some suggestions in my previous review and was pleased to walk into what smelled like essential oils diffusing and the sounds of beautiful instrumental music playing in the background. I got gold foil because I couldn't find a salon that did gold foil! My cuticles were amazing after and the gel lasted 3-4 weeks. This place is really disappointing. My eight year old and I went as walkins the day before her birthday for her first ever manicure. I made sure to ask if they had time for us and told them we wanted to get our nails done TOGETHER. When we went in it didn't look like there would be enough people to do our nails at the same time so I asked again and she said "yes it's fine" and told me I had to "soak my fingers extra long because of my cuticles". She then proceeded to do my daughters nails and I just sat there. In the end I didn't have time to get mine done with her and it was her first manicure and we had been excited for matching nails and the experience tougher. I would've just gone elsewhere, but clearly she wanted the extra money and didn't want to lose business. In the end you lose more business by being dishonest though, I was looking for a place to come regularly and this place is right by our house and would have been perfect, but I won't be back. Also they charged me a lot for my little girls manicure and they hardly did anything because she's just a kid and didn't need any of the cuticle stuff, sanding etc. oh and after paying extra for gel polish, two nails peeled off the very next day before her party. I scheduled an appointment for 3pm. They're lucky they sat me in a massage chair for my pedicure because it took them 35 minutes to actually start doing anything. I got the basic pedicure and it was fine. I go to do my nails and the nail artist just assumed I wanted fake nails and started cutting off my attempt at growing long nails. They barely spoke English while I was sitting there. It was just a discouraging visit. And I was referred to this place by a co-worker, which is why I ignored all the negative reviews. But they're true. Don't go here unless you have the time to wait forever and don't want to actually be spoken to. I also feel that they ignored a woman of color bc she had the same appointment as me and waited in a regular seat for an hour without acknowledgement before she decided to leave. Made an appointment and my mom waited for 25 minutes with her feet soaking. So I was done in the dryer while she was still getting her pedi. Wanted to be together... I was glad my lady wanted to chat a little, otherwise all the technicians just talked amongst themselves loudly. $50 for basic manicure and pedicure. When I was at the dryer, she came over to put something on my cuticles because they were dry. Now I can't get it off. I believe she painted my cuticles with clear nail polish and I am aghast. We showed up 5 min late and she was walking away outside. I said we r coming across the parking lot. She did my nails asked if I wanted trimmed. Yes I said. She zinged me once with the tool in cuticle of my thumb. I asked for some medicine.. we no have none I alcohol when done. Okayyyyy but it's stinging NOW. Soo she rubbed my skin back in place like that would fix it. Ya oh well. Now tonite I noticed she got a little close to my hyperknicium (?). So that is smarting and on my index finger on right hand now hurting too. Got a bit close on side of nail ouch! So I'm sure she is a nice lady ( I hope) but not TODAY! She didn't even trim some hangnails that were quite visible. And absolutely zip for conversatio My Bf got a pedi and that lady had her work cut out for her. Wow really???
