I walked in at 12:30 on a Tuesday and was told they do not take walk ins. I see other reviews that they just walked in. I was not offered an appointment time just told no walk ins and she walked away. It would have been nice to be offered an appointment or something. I said "so no walk ins" and was told no walk ins. Got my nails and toes done with gel. $165 including the $10 tip. My nails lasted 1 week exactly before two started to already come off. I went to get it fixed and it was super glued down and top coat. That came back off the same day. I went again the next day and it was finally taken care of the right way all while both employees there kept asking me what I do with them trying to make it my fault. Still charged me $10 for the fix when these nails should last at the very least two weeks if not more. The pedicure was rushed and I still have rough skin on my feet. The massage lasted maybe 2 minutes and I didn't get the least expensive one. I will not be coming back. UPDATE: The way this business responded to my REAL review just goes to show what kind of people they are. Just because they look good doesn't mean they are going to last, honey. 2 week post nail appointment. My nails are now completely lifting and the gel top coat is peeling. I was given a gift certificate for this salon. I had a pedicure and it was ok. Very few words were ever spoken from the time I walked in - was pointed to a chair. When the young lady came to do my pedicure she did not greet me but handed me the chart of prices so I picked one. The pedicure was ok but the polish looked dull even with the top coat. The young lady said a couple more words near the end of the visit and smiled so I just though maybe she was shy. I returned for my second visit as I still had money on my gift certificate - got a pedicure. I was not there more than 15 minutes from the beginning to the end. Again, staff not very friendly. Hand you the price sheet. Sometimes hard to understand what they want you to do. Like pick out nail polish, etc. They have a sign next to the polish that tells you NOT to test the polish - which is what I usually like to do - also because some the polishes looked old or drying up. I was disappointed in the experience and don't think I would recommend if someone asked me. I also did hear them tell someone they charge $5 to remove nail polish. That was not the case with me. I have read some the great reviews and wish I had experienced that treatment. It seems like this salon either has great reviews or they are terrible reviews. I think responses from the owner on the unhappy clients is very unprofessional and I would not return just because it seems like if they don't have happy clients, they are not very professional handling situations that arise with a business. You can't make everyone happy but you certainly can take the high road and not get into a shaming match when you don't like the reviews. Hopefully they value all customers. read more

The worst place in Reno to get the nails done, the owner is super rude and stressed, tricker that charges $50 for "regular" manicure with cuticles and everything right and then when you add the hard gel it's plus $25, but doesn't include cuticle and this is ridiculous, anything you ask she is super unpolite to answer and at the end when I've complained she said "Leave now, I just need your money anyways, a lot of clients around here" lol pointing the finger on my face. These Asians doing nails are all tricking us and charging way more that they should and then complaining the president is against immigrants! LOL That's one of the reasons, bunch of trickers! Plus just to get the French style you pay $10 extra , plus just to get any gel you pay beyond the price $15 each mani and pedi, so just on that is $30. I've been everywhere in the city, definitely here is the worst one! No cuticles included for $75 hilarious, since the regular includes! Creative nails is the BEST one in Reno, I drive 25 min to go there and I don't drive 5 min to go on this shitty La Belle nails and you guys can see how the owner answered my review lol super rude and unhappy just because you guys need to work 24/7 and blame others for your miserable lifestyle! I haven't updated my review and just returned to this salon for pedicures after trying out some other local salons. They are very sanitary here and continue being diligent on safety measures. They consistently do a good job and their prices are comparable with other salons in the area. I always seem to return here and it's probably my favorite salon in Reno for pedicures. read more

Went during COVID. Called and made an appointment for a weekday morning. When I arrived they asked me to wash my hands at the sink in the back. There were two ladies getting manicures, and two workers (I'm guessing the owners). Some ladies were greeted by name. It was my first time there since I'm still trying to find my nail place in Reno. Overall, I'd say it was an average pedicure experience. I selected the $45 pedicure, which included a salt rub and paraffin wax treatment. My nail tech gave me a pretty good leg and foot massage! She was gentle with cutting my cuticles and trimming my nails. However, the bottle of OPI nail polish I selected was a little old and she was a bit messy with the application, leaving a big smudge on the side of my big toe. The fumes were bad towards the front where the manicure stations are but they were better towards the back. In summary, I'm still on the search for my nail place! read more

New favorite salon! I booked an appointment a few days in advance to get a full set and pedicure for my wedding. The lady who took my appointment made sure to remind me about daylight savings, was able to quote the price, and gave me a confirmation call the day of. The salon was nice and quiet, wasn't bustling with people and noise. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. The whole time I could tell that great detail and care were being paid to my services even though I never told them it was for my wedding. I paid $50 for full set and $45 for pedicure so $95 total. Her anger over the truth seems counter intuitive to having anyone want to return. To the owner: you should spend less time yelling at truthful reviews and more time cleaning and creating a more inviting environment. If I could give this place less than one star, I would, because it was the dirtiest salon I've ever stepped in to. We made appointments in advance and did not have time to look for somewhere else so we stayed but hoping I don't get a fungus from it. They did a just okay job, my daughter was very pleased with her first gel nail polish. The first color I picked, the man said "uhhhh we can try it" which didn't evoke much confidence. I got acrylics and a gel polish. It was just okay. The lady who did my nails didn't address my cuticles at all, no cleaning them up or any kind of care for the hands. the acrylics/polish are not near my cuticles making it look grown out on day one. The nail shapes are inconsistent and some are lopsided. In any outdoor light the polish is uneven and streaky. I've never had a manicure with no soak, hand/arm massage, etc. this was just put on the nails and leave, no care. We did walk in, so maybe they were rushed, but that should have been told to us beforehand. We probably wouldn't go back. read more

I originally took my mother-in-law and daughter for nails and pedicures for Mother's Day. The first visit went okay. When having our nails done we were cut by files (this happens sometimes with nails) and treated as an inconvenience. When I returned to have future fills done on my nails were bumpy and uneven. I could only file the tips because other than that it would have removed the gel coating that had been placed over the entire nail. This was an absolutely awful experience! Very rude service and they ruined my nail bed with aggressive drilling on my natural nail bed! I had to leave mid appointment from my nails burning. I'm honestly appalled at the subpar "service"... my beautiful girlfriend and her friend went in to get a pedicure yesterday... what she left with was swollen toes and risk of staph infection from the abrasions received during her pedicure. Recently moved to Northwest Reno and have been slowly identifying new places to eat, drink, get my nails done, shop... etc. I haven't had much luck in the nail salon department but La Belle might just be the place I'm looking for. I called before heading over to make sure they could accommodate me for a gel manicure. I don't mind waiting, but I'd rather do it at home than at the nail salon. They had immediate availability, so I headed over. La Belle is located in a super weird shopping center with the most random collection of businesses. The salon itself isn't fancy and is like most nail salon experiences I've come to expect. A lot of cheesy decorations, like chairs in the shape of lips, but clean. When I arrived they had me sign in, and then sent me to pick a gel nail color. I couldn't believe the number of colors they had available and varying brands. I've never seen so many color options before. I do think they could organize them more effectively; there were so many options a lot of the samples were tangled together. They're due to update the samples since they were a little worn down and dingy looking. A very nice man (I did not catch his name) did my nails. He was wonderful, extremely polite, and very gentle on hangnails that were tender/sore. He gave me an excellent manicure, cleaning up all the overgrown cuticles the last nail salon didn't even bother to cut back. I was very happy with the care he took. As for the gel polish: I couldn't belieably the best gel polish I've ever had done. The attention to detail wasve the perfection in which he painted my nails. Hands down, it was prob exceptional. He finished with a very relaxing hand and arm massage. I also really liked that he didn't engage in conversation and gave me the opportunity to listen to my audiobook; I'm not a fan of small talk when I get my nails done so this is a huge win for me. The cost to get a gel manicure was $30--industry standard for the area and well worth it. I took away a star because it's not the best atmosphere which I don't mind, but It doesn't make La Belle a 5 star experience. I'll definitely be back. read more

I am very pleased with the service I received at La Belle Nails. I came in as a walk in at 6:30pm on a Monday for a gel manicure and was settled immediately with Vivian. She did a wonderful job! Very thorough with each aspect of the manicure and didn't miss a step (I have been gettin manicures for 15+ years, I know the steps by now lol) I appreciate that even though I was the last client of the evening and I still received a high quality service on the fly as a walk in. I noticed the next day the top coat was peeling off and by Wednesday the paint was chipping away. I called and explained what happening they asked if I could come right in and I headed over. When I arrived I was seated with Phillip who completely removed the polish, filed and buffed my nails then reapplied the same gel color very quickly. My nails look beautiful and I am extremely happy with the professionalism and speed in which they handled the mishap. I understand things happen, and I still highly recommend this salon for their professionalism, cleanliness and ability to apply gel polish is a smooth even way. I will be back, thank you read more

I do not recommend going here. It's been three months since my last visit, and my nails are still ruined! I got an acrylic set there, but this was no "manicure" at all. No nail soak, no cuticle oil, or cuticle trim. She did not even put lotion on my hands at the end. I left with my hands feeling cracked and dry, and I got multiple hang nails afterwards. On top of that, the acrylics were poorly done. She filed my nails down so thin that they are still breaking! Three months later, and my nails still can't grow past my finger tips because she filed them so darn thin! (I went to a different place a few weeks later to get them removed, and they were shocked at how bad of shape my nails were in). My acrylics were sloppy, and uneven. She also did not put the gel close to my cuticles, so when I left, it looked like my gels had already been grown out for weeks. She rushed through my manicure, and I was in and out in 30 minutes. The fastest and sloppiest manicure i have ever gotten. One pro about this place is that they are quick, and that they take walk ins. However, my experience was not worth going back.
