I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and had a great experience with Brea. I had expressed that I was I was feeling a bit self-conscious and anxious and Brea helped me feel less so with her calm and professional manner. (Side note, she likes to read so I found talking about books with her to be a great way to distract myself). It sounded like Brea had waxed a number of pregnant ladies already in her waxing career so that was reassuring. I thought she did a phenomenal job. I swear it wasn't as painful as waxing for me in the past had been and I was really happy with the results. I had forgotten my jacket but the company even texted me so I could return and get it. Excellent service all around. I also really liked the studio. It was clean inside and there were a lot of cute signs and things to look at that fit with the bee theme. I do wish they could have decorated the ceiling somehow as that was mainly my view during the service-- perhaps a dangling bee garland would be cute? I will say I wish they had an extra curtain or partition of some sort (what are those called, a Japanese room divider?). You enter through a door and then they pull the curtain closed to cover the door. Maybe they could put one more curtain perpendicular to that one at the foot of the bed just to give a little bit more sense of peace of mind regarding privacy. Overall, I'd highly recommend getting sugar waxing done here. It's a very nice and clean place.

I've had a few different ladies conduct the service over the course of several appts so I'm always specific with what I want in case they don't record it in my notes. I find the laser machine they use doesn't hurt at all--basically some tingling that only lasts while the laser is on and over the hair. Sometimes they really go to town and go over the area a couple times and other times the technicians do a quick sweep. Not sure how that impacts the results long term but only time will tell. Overall this is a cute little gem of a Med spa in an unsuspecting office building and I'd recommend.

My qualm with their service is that I was told they pigment they were using was semi permanent and would fade after a couple years. This is what made me comfortable to have the service done.Fast forward 3 years and the eyebrow pigment is still on my skin.This is so unfortunate because not only was I not particularly happy with the placement and shape of the eyebrows but now it seems I am stuck with them forever. I never would have had this service done if I knew they were akin to tattooing my face. I contacted Pretty Parlor and was told they should have been faded by now-and if not they would be gone by spring this year. Spring has come and they're not budging. I made my reservation online and arrived on time. I waited 15 minutes after checking in and getting a new customer goodie bag. The wait was worth it! Sasha is super friendly and has many years experience here and altogether. We went over styles I was considering and she talked to me every step of the way to ensure I was getting what I requested. It ended up a little shorter but I loved the style! She cut it dry to see how my hair would lay then washed and styled it all the while we chatted and got to know each other.
