It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long. Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done! read more

I have used this Spa for my face with botox and fillers. Emily is fast and efficient. The front desk girls are always nice. The work done is always good my wrinkles on my forehead go away and with the botox they stay away for like a year. They have a new location that I will check out tomorrow when I go in again. Would I recommend this place to friends and family? Absolutely not! I posted my review on Google and the owner decided to attack me and other customers for it, instead of apologizing for her incompetence. I don't understand where she got the idea that somehow I was trying to criticize her business to promote an ex -employee. I don't even know where she works now, if I did I would have never gone back to Bella Grey. Danielle, if you read this contact me, I'll gladly continue to support you and the business where you work. Danielle was one of the injectors who did my forehead every 3-4 months. She was AMAZING and the sweetest, I loved going to see her! Not to mention she actually knew what she was doing and she cared about making you feel comfortable; always made an assessment on how and where to inject to make sure she targeted specific areas to ensure the product worked well! This last time I scheduled an appointment I learned that Danielle no longer works there. So, I had an appointment with Emily, the owner. In 5 minutes I was in and out of the office; I felt rushed out. Emily took a look at my chart and asked me a few question to determine how many units I was going to get before she injected my forehead in the most careless way! She didn't bother to count me down to make sure I took a breath to prepare for the stinging. She injected one shot right after the other and made my forehead bleed profusely. I had never bled so bad before, and I've been injected on by about 6 different people since I started getting injections, about 3 years ago. That's not the worse part! The way she injected did not target the muscles that immobilize my eyebrows and between the brows. 40+ units later and I am still able to move my eyebrows more than I normally do after a treatment. This is also after I went back in for a touch up. She also recommended more units than what I've been recommended for a touch up. I didn't want to schedule with her again for the touch up, so when I called I asked to get an appointment with someone else. Well, it turns out that her entire staff are all gone! There's no other injectors available -- she's your only option. I'm not sure what happened with her staff, but if she treated them the way she treats her customers, no wonder they left. I forgot to add my appointment got canceled once because Emely "was sick." Seems to be their preferred excuse. It didn't bother me because I had things to do anyway, but based on other customer reviews, it's a reoccurring theme. read more

The owner got my 1 star removed from google because she doesn't want to take accountability for my poor experience rather she'll accuse me of being friends with an ex employee and posting poor reviews on her behalf. I'm not name dropping ex employee for that reason. I don't know what kind of messy business I got brought into involuntarily by the owner of this business but this is absolutely unacceptable. She also wants to claim I've never been a client here, which is not true. I have plenty of records in which I will keep private in case of the event an attorney contacts me, as was threatened previously. Voicemails, confirmation texts, follow up texts, as well as photos and emails. I have them all dating back to February. Also, if I was never a client there, how did you have my phone number to contact me after I left my review? Hm. I had a bad experience but you know what? Everyone has bad days. That's okay. I worked in the cosmetic industry for 11 years, I know that sometimes we have bad days and our work reflects that. In my opinion, it's not about bad days or your day to day practical skills. It's about accountability for your mistakes and unfortunately no accountability was taken on the owners behalf. I was charged to have my botched Botox fixed by another injector. I have no affiliations with ex employees of this establishment. If you want to claim that I have no record of service there, that's fraud. Although I've only had three visits to this Medspa, I really feel like the experience has been very good. Some of these reviews mention their appointments being rescheduled, which I have not experienced. I also haven't experienced any negative interactions with Emily, which a lot of their reviews mention. I actually really appreciate that instead of lasering my face like I wanted, she suggested that we do a patch test of the laser and see how it does . That laser didn't do what I wanted it to do, so she did a patch test of another laser for me, all for free. some med spas will take your money and do whatever you ask for even if you don't need it so I appreciate Emily for being conservative with treatment. read more

I found my new med spa home. I just did jawline contour and lips by Injector Danielle. What a fantastic experience! The numbing room is an amazing touch, you relax in a nice room on a comfy couch while you numb rather than under a light in the injection room anxiously waiting. Danielle was highly skilled, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. My lips and jaw are flawless and even though yes lips hurt, her skill and technique made the process as painless as possible. THIS is how you are suppose to feel leaving a med spa. I had the worst experience here. I just wanted an IPL and I couldn't get one. The owner is super flaky, she flaked 3 times on my appointments and after that I was done. She offered a free facial so when I went to get that they said oh we don't have you booked can you come back later ? I was fed up and left. The is a nice spa with nice staff but nobody has experience with the laser except the owner and she's either sick or can't make it in for some reason or another. I don't recommend this spa Emily I made an appt on the phone for the facial and when I arrived for my scheduled appt they said they didn't have me in the computer. This MedSpa is such a wonderful place. The atmosphere is warm and inviting vs. the clinical feel of many MedSpas. Emily brings 13 years of experience in skin rejuvenation in addition to her many years as a Nurse Practitioner. Danielle is highly trained and a talented nurse injector. Had a great experience when I finally got to see Emily. She is so sweet and relatable. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable when getting my first "med spa" appointment. Also, the staff is so kind and helpful. I had my first lip injections here and it went great!! Actually I can attest that micro blading process is way more painful! Anyway I would give them 5 stars -but- it seems like they need some more staff that can give injections. If Emily doesn't come in that day, all her appointments are just cancelled, even if you are already in the car on the way, they will call to cancel. So needing to reschedule and miss a work day just so I can see Emily was a little stressful. But worth it! I am sooo extremely happy with my results and happy I chose to see Emily and Bella Grey Med Spa. As a first timer with any sort of procedures I was extremely nervous and anxious, because no one wants to look like a platapus duck lips. I wasn't sure what I needed, but I knew I was not happy with the way my Lips were aging. I had, like... nothing. Went to my consult with Emily and she made me feel so much better. She assured me we would be good with one syringe to get the results I wanted. Injection day came around. She numbed me up with lidocaine in a beautiful relaxing room I had all to myself, while I netflix and chilled. 30 min later, injection time. It was over in like 10 min. Barely felt anything. Complete and utter RIP OFF. $710 for Botox is ridiculous and that's for the discounted $10/unit! I have never had 70 units in my face. So at the $11.50 per unit normal cost my Botox would be $805. I was always charged from $400 and to a max of $500. I am going to a Reno plastic surgeon, Dr. Janiga, for my filler and botox needs now. A licensed M.D. that charges $13 per unit on Botox. No thanks, not going back to have a family nurse (NOT A Ph.D. / M.D.) shoot my face up for what close to what a plastic surgeon (M.D.) would charge. Let me start by saying that I've been a registered nurse for over 20 years in surgical services and I also recently became a certified nurse injector in medical aesthetics. So I know all the things that can and do go wrong! This was also my first time ever receiving Botox. Emily was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable, very patient, and skilled. She listened to all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, made me feel comfortable and confident about my expected results. I never felt rushed and as I mentioned already, Emily was friendly and very easy to talk to. I don't like complaining, especially in reference to people I really like. The overall theme has been a lack of professionalism. I thought perhaps it was only me having issues, but reading other reviews of clients who showed up to their appointments to locked business doors and a no show from their injector, it's clear there is an ongoing theme. Everyone will agree things happen sometimes, and appointments need to be canceled, by clients and providers alike. However, three of my appointments were canceled by the facility, in the last year. That doesn't sound like much, but when you factor in how many total injection appointments a person has in one year, it's significant. Canceling wouldn't be terrible, but it's the frequency and the way it's done which causes issue. The first two appointments which were canceled (months apart from one another) were done so, twenty minutes before my appointment time. Making this mistake once, I could possibly understand, but twice is a flawed system. I live in Southern California and have a second spot in Lake Tahoe. I spend long periods in Tahoe, and sometimes I need services during that time. I see an amazing doctor in Southern California. He's never canceled on me in five years. That's a little beside the point, but my message is that I have options. I choose to visit this office when I'm in town (as opposed to flying home), because I really like Emily and she does a great job. The vibe has been extremely flaky, though. It almost feels like she doesn't care about her business or value her clients. The first time my appointment was canceled, I had driven nearly all the way to their office, from Tahoe. It's an hour drive. They called right before I arrived and said Emily was out with a migraine. Okay, understandable, but maybe try giving me a bit more notice next time. The second time, the same thing happened. I was told Emily wouldn't be in that day. They did not call until I was more than halfway there. They rescheduled me. Then, they cancelled that rescheduled appointment as well, stating Emily had a family emergency. Thankfully, they did text me right before I got into my car to begin driving, that third time, but still, it would have been nice to know a bit sooner. In any case, when they canceled the third time, they said somebody would be in touch later that day to reschedule me for that Saturday. I waited all day and nobody called. I called several times, but they did not answer their business phone the entire day. I called again the following day, and tried getting through all day. Again, no answer. I left a message, a bit flustered, as I'm overdue on my services and would have simply flown home to Southern California to see my very dependable, amazing doctor down there, had I known this would get dragged out so long. It's now the following day, and again, no return call from the message I left yesterday. I left another message today (the day I was meant to have a new appointment), completely frustrated at this point. It says they are open on their website. Their business hours say somebody should be there to take my call, during all the windows when I called. I left another message today, but I am now privy to the way they do things, and I don't expect a call back. It's been a very wishy washy experience. It feels very much like clients are taken completely for granted. Maybe med spa options are sparse in this area, but if a med spa behaved this way in Southern California, I don't believe they would be in business long. The med spas in Southern California charge less than this office per unit and syringe. I never cared about the charge. The appeal here is convenience, but when my appointments are not honored and nobody returns calls, the convenience factor is gone. Even if a person is on a budget, one could technically spend the exact same dollar amount overall, purchase an economy round trip flight, fly to LA or OC for the day, visit an amazing, reliable doctor for less, and be home before bed time. I want to keep having faith that somebody will return my calls, and that my next appointment will be honored, but I have a life. I have things going on in this next month. I can't just sit on standby, hoping they get it together and that I can get my services done. Synopsis: Emily is great. She does a nice job. Staff is great. Office looks nice. However, the lack of professional takes away from the overall experience in such a way that the pros are being outweighed completely. It's sad because there is so much potential here for great things. Sorry for the bad review, but you guys need to get it together. Get in or get out, but don't operate as a half functioning business and waste the time of others while you figure it out. It's just not cool. read more

Emily is amazing! I first met her when she was working at Dolce Vita Med Spa. She did my lip injections and she did a fantastic job! I was extremely excited when I saw that she opened up her own place. I visited today to get a b12 and slim shot. Emily always makes you feel super comfortable. Between paperwork and the actual shot, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Her new place is super cute and cozy. It also has a cute little boutique with lots of beautiful clothing. Had a Saturday appointment for botox. Showed up and the door was locked. I was chatting with another woman waiting in her car for a filler appointment and we both had confirmed our appointments via text the previous day. (This is after waiting an extra half an hour past our appointment times.) I called the office to let them know we were there waiting for our appointments and the office was still locked. Neither of us received a text, a phone call, or any contact. HOW RUDE!!!!! What a waste of time. I'm not sure how people stay in business without any common courtesy. I wish I had a great experience like everyone else whose been here but I didn't. I had Botox and fillers under my eyes for bags/shadows about a month apart. The Botox was okay. Could've been better but showed some improvement in my forehead. The fillers I have had for almost a month now and have not noticed any difference with the bags under my eyes or the dark shadows. When I was getting injected I heard a crunch and was told that's my collagen. My mom whose had fillers under her eyes before said she's never heard of that happening and she's loved her results at a different medical spa. I spent close to $700 for these fillers with a 70 minute appointment since apparently they were "busy" due to all the specials going on. It was a long appointment that unfortunately was a waste of time and money. Also I've never seen this Emily nurse person before. everyone talks about her but I've never met or seen her so I don't even know. I'll be going elsewhere for my Botox and fillers though. What a shame. Place is clean and aesthetically pleasing but doesn't seem to have highly trained clinical professionals. I am so glad that I found Emily. I've had my lips done before on 2 separate occasions over 3 years ago. Each time they did 2 syringes on my lips and the results were ok but I was not impressed. I've also had a bad experience with under eye fillers and botox from other places. Emily is an amazing person and only uses the bare minimum to produce great results. She injected 6 units of Dysport and 1 syringe in my lips. The result have blown my mind. Lol My lips look way better then the previous times I've had it done but with 1/2 the product. The placement in my lips is exactly what I wanted and it just enhanced my natural lip. Also I'm so in love with the dysport its nothing like my bad botox experience. I was expecting to spend way more money but with Emily's skills we used less product and that means less money out of my pocket. It is amazing that small procedures like this can make such an impact on the way you feel. I just turned 34 on the 2nd and I can not thank Emily enough for showing me that a little goes a long way. read more

Let me preface this review with the fact that I created a Yelp account specifically to write this and warn people about this place. I would literally give this place negative stars if I could. I had an appointment scheduled and got a call an hour before with some bs excuse that the injector couldn't make it in. I reluctantly rescheduled (after reading multiple reviews and realizing this is an ongoing issue for the woman that runs this place). Today, I have an appointment twenty minutes from now, and I get a call that she can't come in today either. On a Saturday morning twenty minutes before my appointment? I was already in my car driving. Did you go out and drink too much last night and now can't see a patient that was going to give you THOUSANDS of dollars?!?!?? 1) you could have called me before I left my house 2) you could've at least apologized 3) your one star "medical spa" gives off stuck up and pretentious vibes for not even being able to show up to your clients appointments without any reason. Somebody is giving you thousands of dollars and trusting you with their face and this is how you treat them? The disrespect is unreal. I heavily researched and chose injections by Emily, rather than a place like Ideal Image, because it's obvious she is dedicated to her craft. Bella Gray is her pride and joy. As a nurse myself, I respect her and all of the titles that follow her name. She is more than qualified and could really empathize with me as her patient.
