The nurses are amazing, especially Luella. She is so sweet and good at fillers and Botox. Jazmine, the owner, is awful. I told her I could still see lines in my nasolabial folds and asked if it was normal. She proceeded to get defensive and was extremely unprofessional. She said one thing, and then moments said another contradicting her previous statements on my services. She is wonderful until you question results, then her true colors come out - based of my personal experiences. EDIT: Jazmine completely falsified her response (Isabella) and I am not going to the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint. I have a voicemail from Jazmine stating she would like to discuss issuing me a refund, etc. I dont understand "Isabella's" response below. The only complaint I have is Jazmine's professionalism. She (Jazmine) has a pattern of projecting which can be identified immediately should you have a complaint or question her professionalism. Dr. Rodelyn did amazing, and I only asked if the results were normal after a week. The nurses do fantastic work, unfortunately the owner is completely unprofessional and has slandered my character. I urge you not to trust your face to this place. I got a PRF facial with microneedling, which entails receiving a blood draw. First, my blood was drawn on an upholstered chair, which seemed to me to be unsanitary and potentially dangerous. Next, I was not numbed for the procedure. (Aesthetics' website provides that "During your treatment, you'll be provided with a topical numbing agent to make the experience more comfortable.") The PRF was wiped off immediately after the procedure was completed, which I understand is not standard practice and may mitigate the effects of treatment. Finally, for aftercare, I was given an ice pack and treated with arnica gel, both of which Aesthetics' website says to avoid because it "can interfere with your skin's natural inflammatory process that's necessary for your skin's rejuvenation. Even with all of these red flags, I wouldn't have written a negative review but for the fact that my friend--who received the same treatment at the same time--attempted to straighten it out directly with the provider. The provider responded that she was "not a fit for our Medspa" and got lawyers involved. I have also been threatened with a lawsuit for this review. In my view, this is an outrageous way to treat patients and is behavior that prospective clients should know about. read more

Since I have received an e-mail from the owner's attorney saying, "A failure to correct/delete your review within five days time will result in action," I will "correct" my previous review. Here are a couple of "corrections" to what I have previously said. If I did not change some of the other negative things that I have said in my review, I still stand by what I have originally stated: a) "I have been on the phone numerous times with them now and I can't seem to get an appointment with them to book my second appointment so I can use the rest of my units that I've paid for in advance. They seem to discourage me from booking the appointment. I don't understand what's happening...Now, I'm trying to get at least some of my money back from the rest of the units that I've paid for already and now they are so disinterested in booking me another appointment. I have called three times to book it and they keep telling me they're booked out." Correction: I did call them three times and was unable to get an appointment. My first call was pleasant but there was nothing that fit my schedule. The second and third calls were not pleasant, the person(s) on the other line were curt and seemed disinterested in booking me another appointment and that made me feel frustrated and made me feel as if I was an unvalued customer. b) "On top of that, I was charged $400 while the med spa (they closed during COVID) that I was going to before only charged me $270 for the same procedure!!! Aesthetics Med Spa is a scam!" Correction: I do not think that they are an actual place that scams people but I did feel as if I had been scammed because of their higher price, the consultation fee that they told me would be waived after treatment, but was not honored, and lastly, the "promotion" that I had paid for in advance, was no longer a deal to me because of their higher prices. I do want to add that be careful when you write a negative review about this med spa if you have gotten a treatment here, because there is a chance that the owner will at first try to solve the situation by talking nicely to you and figuring out your information for her research and then when you do not agree to the terms she sets, she can try to intimidate you by researching you, your family, and their livelihood as what she has done with me and my husband who has never had any business with her. She has found out my husband's work place and said to me in an e-mail, "I will leave a false review for your company and your husbands' company - see how you like it, see you think you are an entitled person and the world revolves around you and your feelings." She did in fact leave a false review on my husband's company. There were different threats from her but I will just leave it as it is. I have never dealt with a company or an owner of a company who have threatened a customer the way she has. My tip is (since Yelp reviews are allowing users to give a tip to other users), if you are willing to go through or risk going through what I went through with this company, then go ahead and book an appointment with them- like I have told the owner, I'm sure she's had some customers that haven't had any problems with them. But I also have told her that unfortunately, that has not been the case for me and I wish I had a good experience since I was truly finding a new med spa to go to regularly. I had zero ill intensions against her med spa but when I have been frustrated numerous times and feeling like my expectations have not been met time and again, I think I can write a review about my experience. I do want to make those corrections above and I have made them. However, the threats and feeling of harassment that I have experienced from her, have truly been unbelievable and a terrible experience. read more

I want to address the looong bad review. I'm 100 percent sure that it cannot be true. I've been coming to this spa for over a year. I've had most of the services. Ultra shape, refirm, resurfacing, injectables, ipl, Botox, massage. I've never had a bad experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and have great educations. Jasmine has never tried to sell me any products. Although she might suggest a product, no one there pushes you to buy their things. They give you explicit aftercare instructions. My oh my, it was my first time going to any spa related place and now I know why people take the time out of their day to do it! I came here to try out ear candling for the first time, and it was such a cool experience! My aesthetician Crystal walked me through the whole process and made the experience so comfortable and relaxing that I nearly fell asleep during the procedure! With the soothing music and the soft fragrant air, I really did feel like I was in a self-care haven. It's even more fun when you get to see the ear wax that gets pulled out at the end of the procedure! I've heard a lot about the different benefits this procedure gives you and after it was done I felt balanced. So far.... it has been exceptionally WONDERFUL. I have been seeing Crystal for eyelash extensions since mine are extremely short and super thin. I have been twice (third scheduled) and extremely happy with them. I have been to two other places in Reno (over the past three years) and they were horrible. First place, I had globs of glue and my lashes literally clumped together. (No, I don't sleep face down). Second establishment, complained the WHOLE time because my lashes were so thin. Crystal listens to what you would like and takes her time. The first appointment I literally slept through the procedure. Very surprised at a couple of negative reviews for this Spa! I love it and I love the results. I think perhaps the customers who are upset are just not familiar with the nature of these procedures. Two laser treatments will not be enough to rid you of underarm hair or even make a dent!! I wish it were but you have to be realistic and take the crazy way our hair grows into account. The staff have always been very friendly and polite to me. But then I treat people the way I like to be treated - it does go both ways! Jasmine knows her stuff and I have complete trust in her, I've just had my third IPL and I love how my skin looks.
