Bella Grey Medical Spa - Before and after photos of a woman who received Botox injections

Bella Grey Medical Spa

It pains me to write this, but here you go..... and a bit long…read more Bella Grey Medical Spa! If you do AI on what a Medical Spa is, this is the definition: A medical spa, or med spa, is a hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments performed by licensed medical professionals, such as physicians, nurses, or physician assistants. 'These services are supervised by a physician' and go beyond traditional spa services by utilizing advanced technology for a range of non-surgical aesthetic and rejuvenation procedures like laser treatments, chemical peels, and injectables. So my first question/concern/issue is that 'these services are supervised by a physician'. This is most definitely not a Med Spa that is supervised by a Physician. Emily's credentials are MSN, APRN, FNP-BC. Clearly not MD, DO, anything that would indicate Physician supervised. So, IDK? What do you think? So let's move on to that it is a 'hybrid facility that combines the relaxing atmosphere of a day spa with medical-grade cosmetic treatments'. I dare that you to go here and think that any treatment you have feels relaxing. Like wow, Emily, the owner does not give off a relaxing vibe at all. In and out in 15 - 20 minutes. Please tell me, absolutely not that. Relaxing? Definitely not. And let's move on to my last treatment. $10/unit botox special! Wow, she absolutely over injected my forehead, I had welts and had a Botox headache for 3 days. Have never had that in all the times that I have had Botox (30 years+). And the IPLs I have had are joke. It's just zap, zap, zap - I think 3 minutes? Others that I have had provided numbing cream before and gave 2 - 3 passes. I bought a 6 IPL package, did 4 - what a mistake. So I am 65, not that that matters - but for 30+ years I have been doing Botox, IPLs, Sculptra, Fillers, had a Face Lift, Eye Lift - you name it, I have done it. Am I vain? Absolutely! (just wait until you're 65, ha!) So, Emily will come back and say that I am the worst patient, that I asked a question over the phone if I could do an IPL and Botox on the same day. She will say that I was argumentative, that I yelled at here (I absolutely did not). She will say a lot of things.... but IMHO - take your time with your patients, just saying. I would also like to add that I have been in Healthcare for my entire career. 45+ years. This is not a place I would recommend or refer to friends. Clearly there are a lot of options in Reno, in town, find someone that is compassionate, understanding of your needs and takes time to give you what you need/want. Obviously you are paying out of pocket - so yeah, do your research! Now reading Emily's response, these are now my words/my response: I was never rude, I did not yell at her, I was most definitely not slurring, omg! I just asked a question on the phone. Could I do Botox and an IPL same - she responded and I booked my appointment for an IPL and Botox. That clearly did not go so well. She wants to keep on with the banter, make me look bad (why would you do that to a patient) I'm good and I know that I would never go back to her! So any of you that are in your 50s/60s as I am - I don't think Emily is the right person for you, I think she's early/mid 40s-ish?..... Look for someone that understands you, your age, takes their time with you. And this is an interesting response, right? 'Again, please stop. I have several witnesses to your belligerent phone calls where you are incredibly rude, slurring your words, and asked to no longer be a patient here. Please stop.' Oh my goodness! Please get over yourself! Yup, please provide those several witnesses, really? Honestly, who would say that? I will say the same to EMILY! You are a Healthcare Provider that is not compassionate, completely Rude, completely and truly all about you. So yeah, Please stop! Yowza! At the end of the Day, why would you want to go to a Provider that feels like they need to blast their patients? Emily is self absorbed/all about herself. So done!

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt like this one really deserved it…read more I had an Opus face treatment with Erin at The Beauty & Wellness Collective, and from start to finish, the experience was amazing. Erin was incredibly caring, thoughtful, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. When I first walked in, I'll be honest--I felt a little intimidated. The space is beautiful, modern, and very high-end, and I wasn't sure I would fit in. But that feeling didn't last long at all. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming, and they truly make you feel like you belong there. What stood out to me most is that they genuinely care. There was no pressure to upsell anything, which is rare. Instead, they took the time to understand what I needed and helped guide me to the right treatment. I was also nervous about pain going into it, but Erin was so gentle and reassuring that it made the whole process much easier than I expected. I actually traveled 2.5 hours to come here because I've had bad experiences elsewhere--spending a lot of money with little to no results. This was completely different, and it was absolutely worth the trip. I would highly recommend The Beauty & Wellness Collective to anyone. They made me feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in my decision--and that means everything.

I really trust yelp and I wish I would have dug in to the reviews more on this one. I have been to…read morea few different med spas and gotten various procedures so I feel that I have realistic expectations and understanding of results and service. I came her 2x. And neither time did I leave satisfied. Both times it was difficult to get an appointment, usually this is a good sign. Not really the case here. The space is beautiful and so are the staff. Honestly that is not really important or in anyway attributed to MY goals coming here. The staff and the whole med spa was filled with food. Both times. Food on the desks everyone eating food at their computers, front desk, back desk, food on the back table area, everywhere but the actual treatment room (thank the lord). This was a very off putting as when you go to a med spa it's somewhat like a doctor's office and you want it to feel clean and sanitary. The food smells and food debris everywhere was pretty gross to be honest. It also made me feel that i was interrupting their lunch or something. Get a break room people dont eat while your helping clients. C'mon. Anyways the reason why I mentioned the food was because it pretty much set the tone for the whole visit. From the moment you walk in, it was their Spa their show and it made me feel like I was interrupting and a bother to them. Definitely "Mean Girl' vibes. The girl that treated me was nice enough however she did not remember anything from my prior visit ask me about results or anything. I have gotten Botox many times before and I've never been charged the amount that I was charged here it's almost like they charge you double the cost so they can put some more in their own beautiful faces. My Botox $600 worth with the request to primarily treat my 11s and eye area only, did not last even 2 months. Even after the initial set in period (3 days) my 11s and over one of my eyebrows was still wrinkly leaving my face looking weird. I have not yet tried any of the many other spas in Reno but I will never go back here with the number of different options there are. Ladies of Reno - This is not how it should be. T there are Spas out there that genuinely make you feel good and make you the center of the show by putting customer service first. They care about your results and give you the results that you are looking for. This is not it.

I went to Dr. Tiffany McCormack for a breast augmentation and initially had a great consultation…read more She came across as very kind, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Before surgery, I felt supported by both her and her team, which made me feel confident going into the procedure. However, my experience on the day of surgery and throughout the post-op process was very different. I did not receive my post-op instructions before or after surgery. I asked the team for them after the procedure and was told they would be emailed to me, but they never were. My husband also asked after the surgery and they told him they would be emailed as well (they were not). I had to call afterward to request them again. Most of my post-op check-ins were not done by Dr. McCormack but instead by her nurse/PA, and unfortunately, I did not feel they were very helpful or knowledgeable. The guidance felt limited, and I often left feeling unsure and unsupported. When I shared my concerns with Dr. McCormack directly, she seemed dismissive and mentioned in my notes her nurse wrote that I did not follow post op instructions (maybe because I didn't receive them). She lacked empathy for my bad experience and did not offer any solutions for her team's lack of professionalism. Additionally, the front desk staff was not friendly or inviting, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Based on my full experience, I would not recommend getting a breast augmentation here. I've since shared my story with a few people and, unfortunately, learned that I was not the only one who had a terrible experience many of my acquaintances have as well.

Looking over the reviews for McCormack, they don't seem to care whether or not someone is happy with their services. I had under eye surgery and chin liposuction (she said it would give me "definition" which was totally bs) with Dr. McCormack. During the consultation visits, everyone was so nice - they wanted my business. Dr. McCormack basically lied to me about my under eye lines. I said it was a huge concern for me. During consultations she said the lower blepharoplasty would remedy the bags AND the lines. Then on the morning of my surgery she said that I'd have to go to the MedSpa for the lines. I don't know WHY I decided to give them a second chance and try the MedSpa. I had a consultation with Precious, and again, my under eye lines where the reason why I went. She said that Botox would help. I paid for their "VIP" membership (total scam). The Botox didn't do one thing. So I've spent almost 10K at this place and feel ripped off. Then on top of all that, the MedSpa receptionist's are rude. My advice: Go somewhere else for everything. This place is totally overpriced and overrated.
