I initially came in for a rhinoplasty consultation in the Fall of 2023 with Dr. Hall. At this visit, I met Jojo and Dr. Hall and I had a few photos taken. (The ladies here are all friendly and are helpful). We made a realistic game plan and rescheduled to come back in March of 2024. At this visit, the game plan didn't change and we continued to medical clearance in April. I was cleared for surgery at the end of April and a week and a half later I got a new nose. I had a big scar on my nose and Dr. Hall was able to minimize it while I was under. Surgery went according to plan, with check in to check out. It was out patient at Quail surgery! They took great care of me! See my review for Quail! I did have a minor issue when I returned post surgery to have the stents and stitches removed. The girl removing them, pulled and tore a bit at the base of my nose. It was painful and annoying. Thank goodness someone else was in the office to remove the remaining stent and stitches in my left nostril. I also had a billing issue that was caught later and I was reimbursed, but I wasn't too happy with that either. I doubt a check for $210 would have been mailed back to me had I not caught their error. I waited a year to write this review if at all. I wanted to give an accurate account of my experience. Would I do it again? Probably not. I'm not a surgery kind of person. The only other one I had was a cesarean. Rhinoplasty was painful, but I'm breathing better, so that was worth it. After 5 months there is still significant loose and sagging skin. I went today, not to blame, but to listen to a plan. For 20 minutes Dr. Hall tried to convince me that everything looks great. There is nothing to correct. He said that these are the final results and he does not see a problem. He tried to convince me it is all in my head. He went On and on that he couldn't see the sagging. I was really disappointed with the front office staff during my recent visit. I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my appointment and as a patient was leaving--someone who happened to be a larger woman--I overheard the receptionist making rude and judgmental comments about how large she was. It was completely unprofessional and frankly shocking to witness in a medical setting, especially one focused on aesthetics and self-image. Aside from the unprofessional behavior of the receptionist my aesthetician was very kind, professional, and all my needs were met. Perhaps proper training on professionalism and compassion should be considered for the front office team, as every patient deserves to feel safe and valued in a medical setting. read more

If I could give 6 stars I would! Dr wrye and his team, in every area of this office has been soooooo excellent! From the care from Dr. wrye, his bed side manner is great! From the beginning consultation to every appt since my pre op (I'm 7wpo) dr wrye has been present at every appointment. His work surgically has been beautiful! Last appt he wasn't happy with my belly button and offered a revision (most surgeons wouldn't just offer that) I love his honesty and pride in his work :) He answers all my questions, he personable, I don't feel rushed and my time isn't wasted either. His nurse Nikki is great, from Sarah making me feel like part of the family (I love her) to Mary Jane! Getting paper work filled out for my job has been a breeze Mary Jane is great and so kind and patient, and very prompt with communication, which is so important when it comes to paper work for fmla. I had a consult with this office. Dr Wrye was great and we had a good conversation. He said "I look forward to helping you get the results you'll happy with. We left the office and never heard back. The last thing he said was that he was gonna go over my chart and devise a plan and get back to us within a week or two. That was almost six months ago. Every time I called I would leave a message asking where we were at with workers comp, but nothing. I never received a call back for six months. I fround the staff to be short and borderline rude, even snarky. But I liked the doc so I never said a word. The drive for us was almost 3 hours. Afterwards the doc said he had everything he needed and felt positive about getting good results. I've left at least 6 messages because no one had ever actually answered the phone. Now I'm on the search for another doctor, and they want those records and photos back, but they have held on to them making it hard to find another That office is terrible about returning calls, or even just answering a phone call. When they ignore your multiple calls after he told you he would be in touch, makes for a bad office experience with bad policies. Now that I've seen how this office runs, I would never go back. Even workers comp said they were rude when they tried calling, and never returned his calls either. Spare yourself and stay away! read more

Disappointing Rhinoplasty Experience - Would Not Recommend I underwent a rhinoplasty procedure with Dr. Hall at Quail surgery center in Reno, NV hoping to achieve a more refined nose. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. From the start, communication was lacking. I only saw the doctor a few times within the year for a total of maybe 20 mins! My concerns and aesthetic goals did not seem to be fully understood. Post-surgery, I was left with disappointing and heartbreaking results. My nose currently lacks symmetry, worse than it was before. I have this horrible dent that he left me with and when I mentioned to him he responded by saying he couldn't see what I was talking about. Mind you, Dr. Hall was 30 minutes late to my post op consultation. He also left me with an unbalanced side profile and unfortunately now I have breathing issues from my right nostril. When I also mentioned this issue in my post op appointment, he seemed bothered to check my right nostril. Once he did, he said "airway is clear" and proceeded to make me feel like I was just imagining the breathing issue. He seemed bothered and hostile about me asking questions and pointing out flaws. After a couple minutes he left the room without saying anything and I haven't heard of him since. Beyond the disappointing outcome, I found the post-operative care to be inadequate or non existing. My concerns were either dismissed or met with vague reassurances, leaving me feeling unheard and unsupported during the healing process. Now, I am faced with the emotional and financial burden of seeking a revision surgery to correct the results. I regret choosing this surgeon and strongly advise anyone considering rhinoplasty to thoroughly research their options, seek multiple opinions, and ensure their surgeon has a strong track record of delivering results that align with patients' expectations. This guy is a plastic surgeon, who performs surgeries on all parts of the body. If you are looking for a rhinoplasty please learn from my mistake and consider looking into someone who specializes in rhinoplasties or anything above the neck only. Unfortunately because of the price, I decided to go here, but I should've trusted my gut and gone elsewhere. Do not use them awful experience and after care. I had a face lift and my head swelled up like a balloon. Went in the day after surgery for my appointment and Dr. Hall said nothing about it. Now after I have had other people have the same surgery I realize what the problem was, he did not put any drains in so my recovery took months instead of weeks. Face and head swelled up like a balloon and black and blue then went down to my chest. They also never had me come back for any check ups to see if I was ok. read more

Most unprofessional after care (& before and during)I have ever seen! I was admitted to ICU a couple weeks after my surgery with Dr Hall, I almost died, I hade to have a HUGE Staph abscess removed from my lower abdomen with Emergency Surgery (eventually by Dr Wrye, because at first NO ONE from Dr Hall's office wold return the hospital's emergency calls) I had SEPSIS, Pneumonia, Staphylococcus, Nerve problems, sever pain, fever: you name it, I had it. Before my initial Abdominalplasty surgery with Dr Hall, as I was in Pre-op, I went to the bathroom and was having alot of blood in my urine (I even took the RN into the bathroom ad showed her), and pain in my side, as well as a fever. The RN and Anesthesiologist were concerned, they advised that I wait on the surgery till this was resolved at a later date. They retrieved Dr Hall, he didn't want to reschedule, he told me that it would be OK to have surgery, that during sx they give antibiotics, and all wold be fine. I heard the anesthesiologist having a heated convo with Hall, stating he would refuse to help with sx if I was ill. I heard Dr Hall tell him that "Oh, she's just "nervous". *After all was said and done when I got copies of this pre-op report, Hall had NOT put any of this in the report (or he deleted it, after I was in the hospital) Luckily I was documenting my journey with my phone camera. After my emergency surgery to remove the staph abscess, I was so very ill, I stayed in Renown for 2 weeks, I had a gaping open wound for months, biggest I've ever seen, and I was in the medical field (I have pics), it lasted several months, I had to be in a wheelchair for a while, home health nurses had to come to my home to clean and pack it, it was so painful. I looked at it once and I fainted, it was horrifying. I developed Anemia after this ordeal, had to leave my job at the hospital, and well over a year a later still suffering many health affects (let's not even go into the how horrible the area LOOKS now). Going back to the original Abdominoplasty with Dr Hall, in the couple weeks after, I kept calling his assistant Jaqueline, she did't call me back several times, dismissed my relevant concerns all the other times. She even yelled at me and my husband when I was in the office getting the wound cleaned, I started crying and my husband had to help me to my wheelchair to get out of there, her defensive attitude and unprofessional behavior is horrendous, and the way Dr Hall defended the fact that she dismissed my initial symptoms, which ended me up in the ER getting emergency surgery, and almost dying, is unforgivable! I have reported Dr Hall to the Medical Board, and I have just obtained a Lawyer (in Southern Nevada), since Dr Hall has refused to ever contact me back with my concerns, he even ignored my registered letter, Dr Hall has affected my health and my life in a horrendous way, I will never be the same, and he couldn't even say he was sorry for what happened. Don't be fooled by Hall's initial pleasant personality, or Jaquelines, I almost died due to their negligence. read more

I was actually referred to Dr. Hall from my PCP for a pilar cyst on my scalp. Everyone at the practice was incredible from front office staff to the woman who injected the local anesthetic. I saw him for an initial visit so he could assess the cyst then they contacted my insurance for preauth. Got me scheduled after authorization within 7 days. Super professional & just a few stitches later and I'm all good. Go to someone else. I had my "mommy makeover" Tummy tuck, muscle repair, lipo and breast lift and after an estimated $20,000 I am not happy with it at all. I was active before my surgery and a "perfect candidate" and now I have "suboptimal" results cosmetically and had severe medical issues after and it has to be redone. They did not do the upper abdomen well so the muscle bulges and is not flat and I feel like I am being stabbed everyday and have to limit what I do. My tummy tuck scar is also so low that it shows through any swimsuit, he didn't do it in a place or technique to make it not show like he said he would. They have also been very rude and do not like to communicate. Dr Wrye and Dr Hall did my surgery together and Dr Wrye did all of the communicating. He has a very cold and careless vibe to him. Very short answers and if you want any details you have to repeatedly ask for more. If his office didn't talk poorly of a different surgeons office, I likely would have gone elsewhere and would not have the nightmare I have been dealing with. They may have deals and their advertising may sound good, but if you truly want to have a smoother recovery with a doctor who truly cares and will do the best they can, DO NOT GO HERE! If it lets me post a picture I will. This is an honest review from a woman with kids who spent her hard earned retirement to do something for herself, only to have to eventually pay to have it fixed and go through the recovery of a major surgery all over again. This could have been avoided so I am warning you so you can make a better choice and go to a better surgeon. Good luck! One last thing, Alyssa did Kybella and lip fillers on me. The fat accumulated on my neck and I asked her what it was and she told me to go to the doctor because she didn't think it was the kybella. After multiple medical appts it was confirmed that it was the accumulation of the fat from the treatment. She is still learning but not very experienced so she caused a lot of stress and worry that was unnecessary. She also injected filler incorrectly into my upper lip so it went under my nose and caused it to pooch out. I had to pay to get it removed by someone else. Just don't go to this office. I am telling the truth and I want you to have the best results especially with how expensive everything is. Pay someone who know what they are doing and can do it well. read more

I went in to get a consult for a chin implant.. he sat me down and had me look in a handheld mirror with other people in the room ( just the 2 assistants) to tell him what I don't like about myself and point it out to him, but staring at myself in a mirror with other people?? Let's start off by saying I'm not happy. Getting a breast reduction is a big deal! I started as a DDD and asked to be a full C. The response I got from Dr. Hall was "well what is a C really?" Seriously?!?!?! Well, guess what?!?! He took me down to an A!! And he didn't even try to remove the side boobs! I'm in culture shock!! In March of 2011 my ex-husband cut one of his fingers off while making a bed for our son, he was using a table saw and hit a knot in the wood. Dr. Wrye was called in at the E.R. and saved my ex-husbands finger. We had to make several visits to Dr. Wryes office over many weeks during the healing process. He was honest, had patience and has a great bed side manner. He was even wonderful with our 6 year old son with regards to talking to him and answering all of his questions. My step son has a California based insurance and was in a motorcycle accident and was flown to Renown, obviously we didn't get a choice on hospitals or physicians due to emergency circumstance. Dr Hall repaired his face and jaw. When it came time to have the surgery to remove the hardware, we checked with his insurance and they said if Dr Hall's office sent them a request they would authorize payment. Jacqueline from his office refused to even try and obtain authorization and only wanted to bill him privately. That's a lot for a 20 year old to pay off. Maybe they are great for cosmetic stuff where you have to pay privately, but for emergencies or anything they have to put in some effort I would definitely not recommend. read more

Ok so it's been 6 years since I had a breast augmentation done by doctor Wrye and I am still more than happy with my results. I even went through a pregnancy, breast fed my baby and they STILL are perfect! I got 550cc gummy bear implants. They took amazing care of me before, during, and after! I'm returning to Dr.Wrye to have a tummy tuck preformed and am even traveling 3 hours to do so..
