I had wanted to try this coffee shop for some time and finally got a chance this morning. I had the ube latte with cloud foam. It was quite sweet, lika a frappe. It felt more like a boba tea treat than a morning wake me up coffee drink. Next time I will add an extra shot and ask for less sweetness (if I can tweak it). The cafe was pretty empty when I was there and the decor was very cute.

My friend and I visited LA Bean and had a good time here, drinking our teas and playing Chronology, one of the miscellaneous board games they have for patrons. LA Bean is a Vietnamese cafe in Factoria, selling teas, coffees and banh mis in a welcome setting. I was craving something with mango, so ordered the Mango Kiss tea, which consists of green tea, mango puree and mango pieces on top while my friend had a green tea with lychee. My mango drink was refreshing and delicious, with a ton of mango flavor. I could've easily ordered another one. I'd like to try the Vietnamese coffee with ube next time I visit for when I need more caffeine. There are a lot of different drinks to choose from here, so something for everyone here. Glad to have LA Bean in Factoria, which doesn't have too many boba spots around. Located in a small business strip, parking can be dicey with how small the lot is with the busy shops around, but it's nearby other businesses and walking distance to the Factoria shopping center. I'd come back.

Cute cafe with a good amount of seating. Plenty of parking. The service was great. I tried the coconut matcha cloud and it was very refreshing. There were about 5 people ahead of me. I got a my drink pretty quick for it being busy. Next time I'll try a coffee and a sandwich!

We got 2 espresso/coffee based drinks and they were both good! I prefer things "not too sweet", so personally I would've liked it a little less sweet, but probably the perfect amount for a lot of people! If you want the stronger coffee flavor definitely go for the "sunrise" (double shot) options. I just didn't want too much caffeine! I've tried a fruit tea drink in the past and it was pretty good. I do tend to like fruit tea drinks more, but at this shop I prefer their coffee ones.

I had a great experience at LA Bean. When I went on a Saturday afternoon, there was no line and no crowd, which made the visit super quick and relaxing. The drinks were delicious--definitely the highlight. The coffee itself is very strong, which I personally enjoyed, and the flavors were well-balanced. I tried both the salted cloud and the matcha strawberry latte, and both looked amazing and tasted just as good. One thing to note: if you're particular about sweetness levels, the ordering kiosk doesn't let you adjust it. I ended up ordering with the cashier instead so I could customize my drink. Overall, a solid spot for quality drinks, especially if you like strong coffee. I'd come back again!

This is such a cute cafe! I couldn't pick from their menu so I got one coffee drink and a matcha drink. I got the traditional Vietnamese coffee and the mango matcha latte. Both drinks were not bad, but I feel like they just need that oomph! I wouldn't rule it out as an option if I'm in the area. It's a good place for hanging out or studying or maybe even working!

The waffle was very crispy and chewy at the same time. The Ube cream wasn't overly sweet. It was made to order and came out warm. The staff was very friendly and was making helpful suggestions.

Returning after 6 months and so happy to see this place thriving- both in their offerings and the foot traffic. It was very busy on a Saturday morning. Got the warm Ube matcha. It was delicious. Not too sweet and has good blend of both Ube and matcha. We also had the velvet brûlée- it was so good. Great taste of coffee and just enough crème brûlée making the drink creamy with a hint of sweetness. Highly recommended this drink. The pork banh mi was also a highlight for me. It was very tasty! I would come here for lunch tasty. It was a pleasant surprise since I didn't expect a beverage place would have super tasty banh mi. It was overall a satisfying (satiating) visit. My recommendation to the owner is to provide a little description of the drink as I can't imagine the staff having to answer to the many questions of "what's a velvet brûlée", or "brew-Bea" and they'd rather focus on crafting each drink. ;) also labeling the flavor of the various fun rice crispies would be helpful.

I came on a Monday for an afternoon snack. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering my questions. Too bad they didn't have the Croc waffle at the time. I had the pistachio luxe and the grilled pork Banh Mi. There were visible pistachios in the drink, which I greatly appreciated. The pork Banh Mi was sweet and satisfying. The store was decorated super cute, and it was a great place for me to sit down and work for a little bit since they also provided free Wi-Fi. Though the Wi-Fi didn't seem to allow access to all sites (such as Yelp), I was still able to get some work done. Overall, it's a great spot to grab some snacks and get work done. Hopefully next time I come back, the Croc waffle will be available. Parking was easy since there was a parking lot.

Top tier drinks, wonderful service, and super pretty interior decor puts this tea shop in my top 3 favs in the area. Love the adorable 4 month old husky puppy named Dong who chills in the far corner by the windows. The bahn mi can sell out near the end of the day, so highly recommend going to get one for lunch with a pick-me-up drink! The grilled beef option had a nice balance of greens, mayo, jalapeno, and the bread was baked nice and crunchy. It def hit the spot! The green tea was very fragrant and the la bean cloud was also delicious! The boba is cooked well and the fruit drink (lychee green tea) is very floral and had a great base tea flavor. I aim to try everything on the menu and it's always a nice bonus to see a cute dog. I'd come here very week to pet Dong and also grab a sandwich + drink!

Tried this place out for the first time and it did not disappoint! The drinks are very characteristic of Vietnamese drinks as they are on the sweeter and thicker side. I got the milk tea (with sea salt foam, grass jelly and boba). It is definitely quite sweet and there is unfortunately no way to adjust sweetness. Luckily I love sweet stuff though, so I enjoyed it. The sea salt foam is really good and the flavor is strong, one of the best/most flavorful ones I've had. Boba is also cooked well and is chewy. It's a thick drink and is sizable. The young coconut matcha was also good, it's very coconut-y and thick. There definitely is a good amount of ice though so you might have to be a bit patient in waiting for that to melt... I would say the coconut flavor is a bit stronger than the matcha, however we still enjoyed it! The store itself is cute and has great lighting! Would definitely be back if craving a sweet dessert drink!

What a cute cafe! Delicious (and quite reasonably priced) bahn mi sandwiches in perfectly crunchy rolls. Also tried the pistachio luxe on the server's recommendation- creamy, nutty, and delicious. The ambiance was a pop of spring with vibrant colors - so cheerful and unexpected - perfect pick me up on a dreary Seattle day. Service was very friendly. Will come again!

Messaged them on thanksgiving and they replied that they were open so I drove 30 mins to the shop and found out it was closed. They have a large selection of drinks, the drinks were good. I asked for less sweet which it was. Wish there was more strawberry puree. The matcha itself was okay. The pudding was good but wish it could float. The waffle was good, wish there was more filling sauce for the size of the waffle. The coffee was probably the best thing there. I'd come back. read more

I had the Matcha Ube Latte served hot + Croissant sandwich with chicken. The Matcha UBE was ok for 2 reasons. The Matcha and UBE flavor was milder than I expected. More important, the drink was only warm and not hot. The Croissant sandwich was tasty. Not something that I would come specifically to this store for but good enough if you're here for the drinks and want a bite to eat. read more

Obsessed with the new Labean Café in Factoria! The drinks are gorgeous but my fave was anything with their thick, creamy peanut cloud; I'd come back just for that! The crema options are so fun but little too thick for my liking BUT flavor is on point! Matcha here is pretty subtle, so if you like it strong go for their coffee instead . I think this place has been open about 3 months now, but I finally got to try it! I got the velvet brûlée drink and a pair of mozzarella cheese croc waffles (hilarious). The drink was very sweet, a bit like dessert, and I got the salted cheese dip with the waffles so it was a bit more savory. They did warn me that the waffles would take about 15 minutes, which I appreciated the heads up about. Both were awesome, and the ambiance of the store is very cool. There is a LOT of ice in the drinks. You'll be done in about 6 sips. Because the drink is full of ice, the drink becomes quite diluted and flavor is muted. Banh mi could use more spread but the filling is not bad. This place leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully there can be changes in the future for some improvements. read more

We visited this newer coffee spot recently and their coffee packed quite a punch. There was only one person working while we were there so service took a bit longer but I don't mind waiting for good coffee. I got a Vietnamese coffee with salted cold cream and that was delicious. Parking was a pain because we were there during lunch rush and they share parking with other businesses in the plaza. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area. read more

This place is so cute!! I loved all the decor and atmosphere. My friend and I got the strawberry matcha which was divine and sweet. The drink did have a lot of ice so I'd recommend asking for light ice next time. The service was quick and easy and the employees were very nice. The parking lot is a little hard to park in, so we just parked across the street by the KFC, easy walk over. read more

Everything but two drinks are caffeinated. They did not have boba when we went, told us 20mins then corrected for 40+. Which I get, but it was like 4pm. The croc was good but just kind of overwhelming. We split it amongst 6. The ube cream was nice but for their pricing I would've liked to had boba and other non caffeine options. read more

Originally stopped by for some boba and although I'm normally not a coffee drinker, the coffee drinks looked too good so I ordered one instead of boba. The staff was very friendly and helpful and redirected me to the gentle bean version of the classic iced Vietnamese coffee (one shot) instead of the regular after I told her I'm a little sensitive to caffeine. Thankful for that because I definitely got jittery after drinking less than half! The drink was really good though and just that right amount of Vietnamese coffee sweetness. The Okinawa Milk Tea had a deep caramel-like sweetness that's richer than a regular milk tea, while still letting the tea flavor shine through. It wasn't overly sugary, and the boba was warm, soft, and perfectly chewy. You can really taste the difference when the tea itself is brewed well. The fried squid honestly surprised me. It arrived hot and crispy with a light, flavorful seasoning, and the squid stayed tender instead of becoming rubbery like it does at many places. It paired perfectly with the milk tea and made for a satisfying snack.

Menu has milk tea, smoothie, oolong and slush offerings and they also have takoyaki. I got their oolong tea with sea salt cream and added grass jelly as a topping, I got this at 50% for both ice levels and sweetness, and even that didn't really help with making the drink as great it should be. Salted cheese was really heavy in taste, and tea wasn't the best quality despite being very strong. Grass jelly wasn't satisfying to chew either, it was a little harder than what I would have liked. Not my go-to place, though it did catch my eye since I've already been to its other location in Renton. Good for quick milk tea, but not likely to come back.

The menu states this includes lychee syrup and lychee fruit which we interpreted to mean lychee bits, but it turned out to be two whole lychees. She ordered it at zero sweetness, but she said 25% would probably have been ideal since the boba itself is unsweetened. Pricing is reasonable and on par with other boba shops. During both of my visits here, the cashier was friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks. For example, we asked what was in Harmony's Lava Lamp and she was able to recall all the ingredients on the spot. Once we ordered, our drinks were prepared quickly and we were on our way. If you're seeking a snack with your tea, they have both sweet and salty options including Spam musubis, mochi donuts, chicken karaage, bubble waffles and more. Staff were a little rushed with some orders and forgot to give me utensils when I requested them through the kiosk but this didn't affect my overall experience, as I went back and they were more than happy to give them to me. We got their unagi donburi, which consists of a ton of broiled freshwater eel with an umami seasoning and tender juiciness, all on top of a huge bed of rice and with some radish. One of my friends instead got their una-gyu donburi which is a mix of unagi and sukiyaki beef, though that means we all got their unagi. Eel wasn't too salty, and scales are very fine and small that you can just eat it as is. This was a warming, hearty meal that sat very well with me and my friends. For this location and the one in Georgetown, I am most certainly coming back for some more!

We visited around 1 PM with a group, and unfortunately the experience was underwhelming. The wait time was quite long despite there only being about 20 people in the café. The staff seemed very inexperienced, moving slowly and lacking the efficiency typically expected in this industry. The pastries, such as the croissants, appeared to be sourced from Costco rather than freshly made. I also noticed concerning sanitation practices--shaker cups were being rinsed by hand instead of with proper equipment. In most cafés, a Vitamix rinser or similar setup is standard to ensure speed and cleanliness, but that was missing here. Additionally, many of their supplies looked wholesale-sourced, and the flavors seemed to rely heavily on syrups rather than real fruit. As someone with experience managing boba shops, I can say the café doesn't feel well-prepared or equipped to handle consistent customer flow or deliver a high-quality product. Finally found a real Vietnamese coffee spot in Bellevue! As someone Vietnamese, I've been searching for that bold, strong flavor that isn't sour, and La'Bean absolutely nailed it. The ice level was perfect too; if anyone says it's "too much ice," they probably don't understand how true Vietnamese coffee is meant to be enjoyed, we sip it slowly, not chug it like a soda I also had a great chat with the owner. They mentioned their Google account got hacked by competitors and they're still working to get it back, respect to them for staying calm and still keeping everything running strong. Parking around the streets touching here and the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport is not advisable since it's very limited. There is a paid parking garage near the Hyatt you can use, or you can use the nearby Coulon Park parking lot and walk over here like I did. There's no seating inside here; instead there's tons of treats, merch, tea bags, gummies and other products on tables and shelves filling up the right-hand side of the interior. There's also a grassy background where you can take photo ops of yourself and/or your drinks. Up at the front counter to the left-hand side of the entrance are two kiosks you can use to punch in the drinks you want. The menu is also up behind the counter as well. For this visit, I got their tiramisu milk tea with boba. The tiramisu foam ayer was large enough that when I stirred the whole drink in, I could taste the tiramisu's slight coffee-like, earthy hints throughout. The milk tea itself is very strong as I could taste the bitter undertones of the tea easily after just one sip. Also love how they put their drinks in a plastic container shaped like a can! As for their boba, I actually don't mind them being much smaller than many other boba places. They're both small and very chewable, and still look very good sinking to the bottom of the drink in case a photo op is needed. Regular size boba would take up too much space inside the can anyway. Overall drink was a tad too sweet though. This is one of the few places that come to mind for me when someone asks me what boba places there are around the Renton area, as I've gotten great drinks here for every visit since 2021. I'd love to come back again and try their other drinks when I'm around the area!

It costs a dollar more but way cheaper than if you ordered them separately. The service here is always fast and friendly and most of the time pretty clean. Weekday afternoons are best for no line. Weekends should be avoided as the line gets pretty ridiculous and super hard to find a place to sit.
