Steamed Pork Bao Buns 1Pc

Went for lunch and the lunch special hit the spot. Ramen was tasty and well seasoned. Service was amazing and I love the location.

Deep Fried Gyoza Dumplings 6Pcs
Tera D.

FOOD: Ordered the deep fried gyoza dumplings, popcorn chicken, chicken ramen, and strawberry lemonade. In general the food was not very flavorful. The popcorn chicken was especially bland, even with the dipping sauce it tasted like nothing. Ramen also very mediocre and bland. The dumplings were good but still lacked flavor. The strawberry lemonade was probably the best thing I had, very fresh and not too sweet. SERVICE: Friendly, quick, & attentive. ATMOSPHERE: Clean and relaxed, not too crowded. Very cute restaurant, the honeycomb booths are super cute ! HIGHLIGHT: The strawberry Lemonade. OVERALL: Probably wouldn't return as I know of much better ramen restaurants, but it's worth trying at least once I suppose.

1. Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen

We stopped by for a quick lunch. Tried something new on the menu. The seafood kamameshi was too salty for me. The seafood was not that fresh. The eel tasted like the one I can get at the frozen section at the market. The egg was cooked well and the rice is seasoned well. The tokyo tonkatsu didn't let me down; the broth is flavorful and the chashu is good. I wish they torch it a bit though.

Came in for lunch and absolutely did not disappoint. Ordered the Tonkotsu Shouyu Ramen with Black Garlic. The broth was simply amazing and the noodles held their shape well without becoming soggy in the broth. The lunch special includes a complimentary side (gyoza or a bao bun) and drink (thai iced tea or lemonade). Cannot speak for the thai iced tea, but the other three were delicious and filling with the ramen. Staff was kind and welcoming, often checking in and offering recommendations. Interior is just as good as the food, if not better. Perfect place for lunch and/or just a small break from life.

This review is on behalf of my family who went for the first time to pick up & bring home; carry out. They ordered online, an easy process. Their order was ready when they got there & said staff was very nice. Came home & were pleased by the portion size & that everything was well packaged & broth was HOT! Here is a picture of 1 of their bowls & I apologize I don't know which flavor this is- A lot to choose from!! Looks pretty amazing & they slurpped these up. Happy bellies!!! If in Suwanee, check them out. They have a fun interior for dining in as well. I'll go myself soon & YELP again.

My husband and I came here for a date night and throughly enjoyed ourselves. I really loved how the seating was arranged against the wall. They had little honey comb type booths and we got to sit in one. We ordered drinks and the robot delivered them to our table which was fun and cool to see. We ordered the fried squid for our appetizer and it was good. I would have enjoyed it a little more if a sauce had came with it on the side. For our main dishes my husband ordered the Katsuobushi Pork Ramen and he really liked it. I ordered the Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and it was phenomenal. I love spicy and it was just the right amount of spice. The pork was so tender and delicious I was impressed. I will definitely be coming back in the future. This place is top tier for ramen in my book. Service was great and staff was attentive.

The food was amazing every single dish that I have ever eaten at this restaurant had wowed my tastebuds. The drink including the amazing lemonade and passion fruit tea are a must have. They also have the best takoyaki in the entire Northsideof Atl. I ordered the ommurice and fell in love with the deep flavors and presentation. The ambiance is chill with a uniquely traditional setup with moderen twists. Including a honeycomb setup for seating and a chair swing. I also love the high top seating for individual set up. The service was very good. Including a robot that brought our drinks out ( most kids will love seeing that). The human was fine nothing to write home about but also nothing terrible.

The ramen was good, no egg noodles which was a bit disappointing but the broth was flavorful. My friend also got the free dot at the end of her bowl (iykyk)!

Vegan ramen

You're definitely paying for the "interior" at this place. Service sucks. Had to ask a hostess for a refill of water twice. The ramen is mediocre. It is most certainly missing flavor. I won't be back to this establishment. If you want delicious ramen, checkout Jinya!

Ravi B.

The food at Kyuramen is decent, but what makes this place unique is the honeycomb seating! They also have cute robots that might, almost, bring you your drinks if you're not sitting a little up high! The servers are super nice and the restuarnt is open a little later than other Suwanee places. Another great perk to dining at Kyuramen is the accessibility to the boba tea drinks. They're high quality and pair well with the ramens.

Kyuramen is one of my favorite Gwinnett area finds! My husband and I decided to try it for lunch one day and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is located in a plaza so the parking is free and convenient. Upon entering the restaurant I was stunned by how beautiful the Japanese inspired decor was and how spacious it was inside. We were quickly seated in a booth that was very intimate and modern. Within the booth there were already spices available for your dish and a button to press for service if needed. I ordered the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu ramen without egg and my husband had the Chicken Ramen. To drink we had waters in very trendy glasses, my husband had the Strawberry soju and I tried a sake jelly shot for the first time which was super tasty and refreshing. The Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu ramen was nicely balanced in flavor and the pork was very tender and perfectly seasoned. My husband loved his chicken ramen's flavor and balance in tenderness as well. We thought it was so cool that there was a robot available to serve patrons as well. The customer service was great, everyone was kind and prompt. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items.

Finally stopped by after waiting for the hype to die down a little. We were not disappointed! The restaurant set up is real cute. They have the regular seating tables, bar, hexagon booths against a wall, and private booths. We opt for the private booths since there was a wait for the hexagon booths. The booths were spacious and clean. We loved the privacy. Though the echoing and being able to hear the tables next to us drove me a little insaneee.. We ordered a pork bao, takoyaki, omurice, tonkatsu ramen, matcha custard, and some drinks. Overall food was okay. I wouldn't come back just for the food though the service and ambiance is 100!! Everyone was amazing and so helpful. My husband thought the robot helper was so cool. We had a great experience =))

Eel kamameshi - looks great but tastes bad :/ too sweet and salty, not even hot, rice was undercooked

I saw a video there is a robot that serves you. Does anyone know if there is one at this location?

Hi, this location does have the robots. They don’t service your entire stay. However, when we ordered boba at our table it brought us the drinks. Hope this helps!

Are there vegan options? I see the vegetable ramen on the menu, but not sure if the noodles and all other ingredients are vegan or contain egg or dairy.

Honestly, I am not sure if there is vegan options you would probably have to call. I did come across a fabulous vegan restaurant in Lawrenceville called bougeeSouthern kitchen.

Do they take apple pay here?

Yes they do.

Are the miso, kimchi, and curry ramen also made of pork broth?

Are reservations possible?

No reservations, not even on the app.

In there a vegan menu available?

i know they have vegetarian ramen.

Is this location officially open yet? I saw that there is a lit up OPEN sign on the front, but there is also a banner that says "Coming Soon."

It's open!

The broth was overwhelmingly salty, and I really didn't care for the noodles. They were thin, round, and stringy, and didn't seem homemade. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service. Despite loving the foods here, it's been awhile since I last visited...and I definitely noticed some changes in the menu. Luckily, the foods tasted as great as ever! My husband ordered the Katsu Chicken w/ Miso Soup Combo, and I had the Kimchi Nabe Udon Donkatsu Combo...plus an order of Shrimp Tempura...and again, everything was DEE-Lish!! What's mor, as mentioned before, the overall value of this quality meal was unbeatable! Despite near fast food pricing, the foods were so high in quality. Possibly the best, flakiest-crunchiest Katsu I've had in this year?? The thing that was a shockingly bad (no fault of the restaurant) was the crowd that day. It was early Sunday, and it was packed with young teens that were incredibly loud. All the adult diners seemed near shocked at how ridiculously loud they were being. I personally felt that they should have been chaperoned or something. Some of the teens looked REALLY young...like 13 or so? Frankly, they literally ruined the dining experience for everyone there! THAT aside, we thoroughly enjoyed the foods. Since I don't feel that I should penalize the restaurant for the rude, young diners, I'm keeping the stars the same...all 5 stars! Well deserved!!

Megan wanted a dining room meal not fast foo, so we picked Jinya based on my experience at the Athens location. It was a good choice! There are many restaurants in this plaza, so there is plenty of good parking. We were in after 1pm so the lunch crowd was mostly gone. The restaurant has the somewhat standard contemporary asian restaurant look. We were quickly seated at a window table. The menu is small but has what you want for a ramen restaurant. I ordered the original tonkotsu with crispy chicken topping. Megan ordered the chicken ramen. The order arrived quickly at our table along with some additional sauces. My ramen was outstanding. The pork slices were tender and delicious. I don't know how they flavor that egg but it is good! The broth was tasty but aggressively salted. The chicken topping was just the over the top thing I like. Megan liked her chicken ramen quite a bit, so much so she ate it all, not bring anything home. Yes I would come back next time I am hungry in the area. It was $47 plus tip including soft drinks. Seems to be an extensive bar here too if you are looking for that. I'm assuming to give the team a break. There was only one other table of guest inside with a family of three, besides myself. There's ample parking out front, however, the spots are a bit tight, so just be careful. Inside is lovely, I would say it has a woodsy atmosphere, they have some Mukbang's playing on the TV, and music playing inside as well. I was really excited for one item in particular and that is the DONPA, which is a fried pork cutlet bowl, with one of their pastas inside. I opted for this, and got the basil cream pasta, I was curious about making it spicy, and the server was extremely kind of work with me and let me know they could just put the spice seasoning they used to do it on the side. Which I'm glad for, cause it does definitely does pack some heat, so you want to use that sparingly, but it was delicious with my meal. I also added on a sweet potato cheese ball. That was amazing, I've never had anything like it. It was sort of like a mashed sweet potato, but some type of white maybe mozzarella cheese in the middle that had a crazy cheese pull. Overall, it was a very quick meal I was in and out with all my food, and had apple leftovers for the next day and they tasted just as great. Really hoping to make my way back to try the kimbap, the donpa dish is the most perfect intersection of what I would say is Korean and Italian, and both the pickled radish, and the kimchi radishes were a great contrast to their fried, more heavy meal. It completely fits with the nostalgia we were feeling and hanging out with each other again. Service was efficient, and we were easily able to converse with each other. The food is pretty heavy what with it being fried and mostly carbs, but the kimchi and pickled radish help cut the greasiness of it. One of the standout things about this place is that they have DonPas. When we first heard of it, we though it would be fun to get. The donkatsu used for it is thin and fried well. The pork wasn't dry at all, and it was able to hold the pasta and its sauce while remaining crunchy though you definitely should eat it before the sauce truly sets in and changes the texture. For the pasta portion, we went with carbonara pasta, and it was good! Creamy and paired pretty well with donkatsu, which normally has a different type of sauce with it. We also got the UFO fried rice to share. It was filling, and I highly recommend it with egg, cheese, and corn over sauce. That being said, not a fan of the lot to get here. It's got a bit of an decline/incline, not the worst I've experienced, but still something that I took note of. At least my car didn't hit the ground with a scratch like another place I've been to. Leaving can be difficult if it's a busy time with lots of cars, but it's not too bad... I just know I'm not the best driver.
