I was worried it would be too sweet because it included sprite and cranberry juice, but it was actually very pleasant and bursting with flavor. For my main, I had the frittata. It was tasty. Some of the broccoli rabe was a little tough to chew, but not too bad. It was topped with a generous portion of cheese. I loved the tender mushrooms. My husband got the cozze. The portion of mussels was large and he enjoyed the sauce. We also shared the cinnamon french toast, which was delicious. It didn't even need syrup as it was perfectly sweet with the cream and berries on top. Even so, they had several syrups to choose from including amber and maple. When I told my granddaughter to show her from the menu that mustard comes the Cuban sandwich she looked stupid and retreated to the kitchen and came back with a small cup of Dijon mustard. The Caribbean rice was trash. They should take it off the menu. The fries were awesome. The skirt steak was okay. The waffles and chicken were decent. The pork dumplings were tasty. The chicken empanadas were good but I've had better at The Cuban Inn in Tarrytown. The panini Cuban sandwich was not good even with the missing mustard I got from the kitchen. I would not order it again. I would go back but would try something different next time before writing them off altogether.
