Doug Kuttruff is a great plumber. We had an emergency plumbing situation at our house on a Sunday and he literally showed up in 15 minutes. An hour later he had fixed the problem to perfection and charged us an extremely reasonable amount (I thought it would be much much more under the circumstances). I would recommend Kuttruff plumbing without hesitation or reservation. read more

There is no better-skilled plumber than Doug Kuttrugg nor one that operates with integrity. Last year he refused to install a kitchen faucet because he said it would fail. And just this week, he responded to a blocked bathroom tub drain issue. He quickly assessed the problem, describe the solution, completed the job well and in a timely fashion, and saved me $1100 versus another estimate that was given to me. Oh - he also told me how to handle a return issue on another plumbing item, and quickly tightened up the kitchen faucet. Amazing service and pleasant to deal with. read more

Quick and easy to schedule. Super responsive and efficient and effective service. I cannot say enough good things about Kuttruff plumbing.

We had 2 out of 3 toilets toilets that kept running for months. We finally got to calling a plumber and went with Doug based on his reviews and how close he was to our home. He was nice, quick, and replaced the the parts in all 3 toilets and all was good. Price was very reasonable and we found our new go to plumber. read more

Mr. Kuttruff was excellent. There were several people who were unsure of how to install a hot water heater with filter in the sink and Doug, The owner, came out and did a fabulous job. He was most interested in wanting to make sure to do an excellent job without any problems or leaks and I was impressed. I now love our hot water dispenser and I'm having him come back to do other work but I would highly recommend him. He was also easy to reach and had a very short turnaround time to come visit. Other people I called before him wanting a week delay and weren't as confident about the ability to install Will definitely use him again! read more

Wow, a five Stars is not enough to rate Kuttruff Plumbing. Thank you Doug for rescuing my plumbing need. I was in a panic when the washer overflowing water from the drain and completely flooded my floors. I called, explained to Doug with the problem, and the short of amount of time I needed to get this fixed. Doug arrived within 15 minutes, and my problem was fixed within 30 minutes. Thank you very much. I will definitely call you for all my future plumbing needs. I highly recommend Kuttruff Plumbing. read more

Called Doug last night because everytime our upstairs bathtub drains, the kitchen sink bubbles up. Doug came by today and kindly worked around our schedule when determining a window of time. He was accomodating and checked out our issue. Unfortunately it wasn't something he could help us with, but I greatly appreciate his responsiveness and professionalism. read more

I've been using Kutruff since 2005 and it's the best out there. The company is a single person operation. He answers the calls himself and shows up ready to work. He is honest and won't try to sell you extra services; but his service prices are so reasonable you will wonder if you should pay extra! I hired him twice when the toilet and bathtub was backedup. He listened to me on the phone and brought all the right tools necessary to clear it up. You can usually get same day service if he's not too busy. Went to George's Plumbing this morning in my alpha male role to fix two valve stems for a bathtub that is older than John Kerry's hair. The nice guy at the counter explained that " it's pretty straight forward but these stems are "old as John Kerry's hair" which I thought was odd since that is my line. Anyway, he told me that with some spacers you "should" be able to get it done. My alpha male role immediately went to alpha beta role and I went shopping. How many of you remember Alpha Beta? Anyway, the guy at the counter gave me Doug Kuttruff's number. Knowing this was a scam I immediately called Doug. Now, Doug is not exactly a ball of fire on the phone. To say he is laid back is to call Steven Wright a ball of fire. Anyway, I explained my wussy situation and like a fireman saying "yea, I'll get the cat out of the tree" he said he'd be there about noon. Noon 0 1 comes and he arrives. What a great guy! "Got everything on the truck (does that include my dignity) and he gets to work. About 5 minutes later (I think he worked about 2 minutes longer than he need to just to save some shred of pride. A little "boy this is tricky" wouldn't have hurt, Doug). All done, clean, perfect, spent less than what I thought I was going to. And we learn our boys are the same grade at the same high school. With that handy piece of info, we'll be making friends. Thanks Doug for the quick response. read more

Doug was prompt, well mannered, and knew what he was doing. He solved my plumbing problem quickly. I will definately use his services again. Very reasonable. read more

Mr. Kuttruff is very efficient and honest. I have used his services several times and he is always timely and efficient. I'm writing this review because I had an emergency with my toilet that got clogged and had to call a different plumber. This plumber said he couldn't completely get the cup that was stuck in the toilet and that I needed to buy a new toilet for $800. I said no and then he said he had to leave after 40 minutes. This cost $250. I then called Mr. Kuttruff to come out and check everything because I was worried that the toilet would backup and he checked everything, snaked the toilet and 6ft of the drain and said it was all clear and put the correct flange on. Call Mr. Kuttruff for plumbing services, he will not try to up-sell you. I don't know how these other plumbers can sleep at night with their dishonesty and excessive charging. read more

You know I RARELY give 5 stars, but Doug was great: - quick service - very professional - ..but maybe most importantly. He was so kind! Doug is awesome! He is fair, quick and responsible. He saved my home and he is reasonable with his prices. What more can you ask? My sink was stopped up, my faucets were not working and my shower barely had water dripping out of it. He fixed it all in one day, then he ordered parts for my shower and was back within 24 hours to fix it. I was worried because I have a high end German brand shower system, but he was familiar with it and knew exactly how to fix it! And it is working great. Oh and last month he installed my new water heater I ordered online after my old one blew up. I had three plumbers turn down installing a water heater that they did not sell me, and Doug came over and had it in the wall and working within an hour. Sears tried to rip me off and charge me over $700.00 in labor and parts (NEVER order installation from SEARS if you live in Pasadena) and Doug fixed it.! read more

Thank you Doug for helping my Auntie out on short notice. If you ever need a efficient, fair, honest, and reliable Plumber Doug is your man.

Excellent service. Called Doug and left voicemail. Less than 5 minutes later he called back. Minor plumbing issue - wife dropped perfume bottle and we could hear it in toilet but couldn't get it out. I work from home but would not be available until a certain time (2 pm). Doug came on time, did what he had to do, charged me a fair price and I am very happy with his service. Would recommend strongly! Thanks, Doug! read more

I was in desperate need of a plumber this morning when my kitchen pipe broke, and I called several plumbers but none of them could come until the afternoon. I ended up calling Kuttruff, and he told me he could be there within an hour. He came exactly an hour later, and fixed my problem immediately! He even helped me restart my garage door opener, which had stopped working from the water leaking onto it. Great job, super efficient and on time! Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend for anyone who needs some work done quickly and well! read more

Fast, efficient and honest...that's says it all! Doug's the guy! Had a late night main that busted and he came over in less than 15mins and fixed it fast and I was thinking it would've cost me an arm and a leg to fix it since it was very late at night...but Doug hooked it up with a very reasonable price. Doug Kuttruff is outstanding. Kitchen sink drainage became slower and slower until no flow so time to call the plumber. I called Kuttruff plumbing and I was able to schedule after hours service. He arrived promptly and snaked my kitchen sink and my upstairs tub and cleaned both sink drains. I also also remembered the shower head in the second bathroom was slow, and he was so kind to fix that as well! Super nice guy who grew up locally and whose grandfather was a plumber. Doug was great, even though my job was super small he took the time and didn't brush it off. Will use again for future plumbing needs.

I made an appointment for Doug to come yesterday. I have an 1890 old house and hadn't been able to use the hot water in my bathroom sink for over a year. Doug installed new faucets and valves along with related lines in about a half hour and at a very reasonable price. I am glad I read the other reviews so knew he was a little gruff over the phone. Don't let that put you off. In person, he is nice and friendly and very professional. I am going to be ordering a new part for my shower and will get him back for that as well as the faucets in my second bath. I highly recommend. read more
