10/10 recommend. This is the only place I trust to fix my broken screens! I have dropped my phone twice in a year and each time, I bring it in and these guys take such good care! The first time I dropped my phone, the screen cracked and it was constantly pressing random buttons. They fixed it so easily and SO fast. Not to mention they respond super quick as well. I think their pricing is really good compared to other places. I hope I don't drop my phone again but if I do, I'll never go to any other place! read more

Quoted me a buck less than the other places but that wasn't why I came. It was because of their delivery promise. Whilst everyone said it would take an hour or two to replace my iPhone 6S Plus screen, they said they would do it in 30 minutes. When I came, he said he would have it done in 25 minutes. I have been up since 3:30AM and it has been an utterly painful day at work so waiting was not in my vocabulary today but for just 20-25 minutes seemed like nothing especially since I walked over to try to get a torta from that torta place right there (not Mexico Bakery) but they were closed *sad* Awesome service. They repair just about everything: laptops, desktops, game consoles, portable game consoles, virus removal, etc., etc. Ask for a quote through the Yelp app first (prompt reply). I will get a case tomorrow! read more

1st time customer here and very pleased with the results. I previously went to another well named electronics repair shop to get my HDMI port fixed on my PS5. It ended sitting in there "queue" for a month with no update! Today I found KT electronics and headed to the shop, within the first 5 minutes I had a quote and estimated time for my repair for a fraction of the price the other store quoted me for! My PS5 is now back to running like new thanks to KT, you guys gained a customer. My only suggestion would be updating the address on Apple Maps. read more

I am so relieved to have come to this place to get my PS5 fixed here. My friend had first suggested me to go to UBreakIFix but their rates were outrageous. To be fair, nobody has broken their ps5s recently since it came out only a few months ago, so the parts must have been pricey (+400) (each place told me to just buy a new ps5 if that was the case) and they told me that it would take 4-6 weeks to repair and get the parts. KT Electronics did it in less time than that, and I am so happy I went here because the fee ended up being $140. They fixed my Ps5 hdmi port (which is a hard complicated fix usually) in such a short time and for so cheap. After they finished, they also told me I had premium warranty. I am happily playing my ps5 again and I 100% trust KT Electronics for any repair I have in the future. Thank you again! read more

These guys are fast. Took me in right away. Paid at the quoted price. Gave me 30 min that it'll be done (repair the camera on my phone) was done in 15 min. Clean place. Courteous customer service. Very satisfied customer. Store / lobby was clean. read more

After replacing my laptop Hard Disk (HD), they have not returned my original HD claiming that it has been trashed. But my original HD had valuable data that I could recover but now are lost. This business is committing a fraud of telling their customers that their HD was trashed while in reality they reformat and resell them to other customers under the promise of half price HDs. Mr. Khuong T. in his response to my earlier complain, has claimed that he has already transferred my original data to the new HDD. Unfortunately, this is not true. If he already transferred the data, there was no need for exchange of so many text messages. He also claims that they do not sell non SSD hard disk drives. They actually replaced my original ITB with a used 512GB non-SSD hard disk drive. Due to my COVID-19 home confinement, I asked them to send my original HDD to my home address at my cost, but they texted me not to step foot in their store again! A simple solution would be if they could copy my old data to a USB flash memory and send it to my home address at my cost. If I get my data, I don't care for my original hard disk drive anymore. I am not planning for a long dispute. No one has time for it. read more

My MacBook died on me a few days ago, and I was freakin' devastated. The screen wouldn't come on, but the fans and drives seemed to move, so I knew it had to be a problem with the syncing system. I was originally going to go into the Apple Store, but seeing as how this place got great ratings and a very close Alum Rock location, I decided--why not? So I come in, and there were ALL SORTS OF PEOPLE. Mainly Hispanics who didn't really seem to have a clue about their gizmos, but the way I see it, if these guys trust Khong and his crew, it must be a good staff. Upon what was probably a 15-minute wait, I told him about my situation, and he didn't really do much. He just said he'd give me a call that night. So I received the call, and he told me that it was potentially water damage. I refused to believe that and he asked for my story one more time. He then came to the conclusion (after another phone call) that it was with the circuitry inside the MacBook, and that it would cost $240 for repair. I'm in college. That's not affordable, but he told me if they're unable to fix it, they won't charge me anything. That's fine. I get a call a day later, and he told me that it was fixed. I picked it up, there was no line, and bam... here I am, typing this review. So why only four stars? He didn't tell me exactly what was wrong with it, and he didn't tell me what he did. Rest assured, I have a 90-day warranty, so I won't worry about it. If I have another problem with another one of my gizmos, I'll bring it in. If they fix it again for cheap, five stars they shall receive! Thank you, Khong! read more

I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed with KT Electronics, I want the public to know. These guys are HONEST. It is so easy for this type of business to BS the customer and charge a phantom fee for something small. Customers are at the mercy because we are clueless about computer repair etc. TRUST KT Electronics. I have sent my friends to this company. Peace of mind you will get Honest results. read more

KT, I think my husband's kids worship you. My stepson must be so hard on his Xbox360, he is constantly breaking it. As soon as he came here from NJ, he wanted to see you FIRST. Thanks for always being courteous and professional in getting his stuff fixed for a reasonable price. The kid loves his Xbox360! Congratulations on opening your new shop! Will definitely send my friends to you for their electronic repairs., read more

My name is JOHN R. I am a MATH and BUSINESS teacher in the SANTA CLARA COUNTY. I personally met KT ELECTRONICS by chance few years ago for several issues with my own computer. Today, we are truly pleased with all our phone problems and computer needs because KT takes care of all our computers in our school (personal, classrooms, staff, and office network). KT is a Filipino-American individual. A nice and kind clean cut dedicated professional person who does not dare to fool around with your time, with your wallet and with your expectations. With KT we have simply found all the following: * Outstanding professional treatment. * Truly knowledgeable, very fast and honest reliable jobs. * They also do smartphones. * The MOST IMPORTANT: he is not only honest and reliable, he is also (by very far) the LEAST EXPENSIVE in whole the Bay Area. This is a long overdue review (sorry for that). KT-Electronics is a recommendation that with no doubt you will greatly appreciate. MBA. John R. read more

I have only used them once but they told me the charge was either $70 or $80 dollars diagnostic fee and it would probably resolve my problem, and it did for the cost they stated. Dell Desktop Computer was fixed and ready to pick up less than 24 hours later. I'm having problems with another computer and will definitely return to them. read more

Battery replacement on Mac laptop : great work , quick and clean, very competitive price. The all experience was great, smooth and easy. Needed to get my PC fixed since for some reason the 16 GB of ram that I bought for it didn't work. It is my first PC build that I made for my birthday and I wasn't just going to let it use only 8 out of the 16 GB of memory that I bought for it. KT Electronics was able to find and fix the problem at a very affordable cost. Nice staff. Speedy too since I picked it up the next day. Thanks for saving my PC! read more

Consider yourself fortunate to have heard about KT Electronics. These folks recently rescued an essentially new MacBook Pro that experienced a Logic Board failure which disabled the display and depreciated system performance. Prior to connecting with KT, the Genius Bar was quoting 2+ weeks for diagnostic, repair, and return. As the machine was out of warranty; repair costing was not easily specified until they had a chance to get under the hood so to speak. Taken together we were not comfortable with all of those variables. This was not the case with KT. We sent them the machine along with the problem description. KT's flat-rate MacBook Retina repair service resolved all major issues with the logic board. The machine was returned in perfect working order literally good as new. We were invoiced via PayPal which was a plus in mitigating any concerns over sharing credit card numbers and they got our machine back out to us via FedEx the very next morning. These folks are fantastic and highly recommended for all MacBook woes. read more

I have been going to KT for years. I bought a great laptop from them 5 years ago - still running. When I needed some occasional work - they are prompt and do a great job. I have twice sat on their couch as they worked on my system and have had the opportunity to listen to them explain complex computer issues to a wide range of people. They are simply wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about KT. read more

Called about having a new connector soldered to a battery pack for my RC Truck. Brought it in and they said it would be no problem. They called me a few hours later and said it was ready to be picked up. Very straight forward. Got a good/fair quoted price. As professional and easy to work with as many other reviewers have said. Would easily recommend family and friends here. read more

I have been using KT electronics for years and they are truly the best place to go and have been especially helpful in emergency situations.

Had a great experience getting my Early 2010 Macbook repaired there with a failed Magsafe jack. I know it was a hard job to do myself, so I asked the pros. They diagnosed quickly, kept me updated by email and text message, and have online ticket tracking. Took about a week to get fixed since they had to wait for the part. Fair price, skilled techs, willing to work on crazy stuff that other shops don't want to mess with. read more

Great place and nice people, they diagnosed my computer the same day I sent it in. Fast and respectable service.

I went to KT for a very specific Solder job. His team's soldering skills is good. Had micro soldering to be done and very small. Very satisfied with the result. Took in my Xbox that had the ring of death. They did their best to repair but couldn't without a new mobo. They said I could pick it up at no charge, they could fix it for flat fee plus parts or I could trade it in for parts and buy a new one at discount. Took the latter option an they even swapped the hdd. No fix, no pay puts these guys ahead of everyone else I talked to. Their customer service was good, they were quick and offered quicker service for a reasonable fee. The only comment I had was location. Not enough parking and "far" from the penninsula. read more

Excellent work! I was looking for someone to fix my PS4 is San Jose. This shop was the fairest price I found. My problem was a bad HDMI port, which they fixed. They also cleaned it very well, inside and out. I think they also replaced the thermal paste. This machine hasn't run this quietly in years. Better than their quality work was their professionalism. They were very communicative and texted me when the repair was finished. They safely held onto it for a few extra days until I had time to pick it up. Could not have asked for a better experience. 5/5, 10/10! read more
