This place is a rip off. I had a screen replaced, it had two lines across it, charged over $250 to replace the screen. Guy replaced it but within 24hrs I had a green line show up on the screen. Guy said it was cause by physical damage, the screen was just replaced I had been extremely careful with it and had not dropped or damaged the phone in any way. He refused to honor the 60 warranty. Said it I would cost another $250 to fix. After arguing with the guy he said he could install a refinished screen for $120.... He insisted I the only reason that line showed up was because I damaged it, told me too Google it. Well I did....per the attached Google response: "a defective OLED/AMO LED panel (micro-fractures in the display during shipping), an improperly seated flex cable, or internal pressure from an swollen battery or tightly clamped case" So yes one of the causes could have been damage BUT it could have also been a defect screen, in properly seated flex cable (improperly installed) or tightly clammed case/like for example the 20 rubber bands he wrapped with when he gave me the phone and told me to keep it wrapped so the glue settles Either he installed a defective screen or it was improperly installed and does not honor his warranty. This place is a rip off, do no go there. In response to your comment: When I was in the store, you offered to install a refurbished screen for $120 you said that was the best you could do as you were not the owner but yet the pic on the Yelp profile matched the guy in the store...hmmmmm....another deception. I guess I shouldn't be surprised You are correct, I did not drop everything and immediately go back to your shop when the line appeared. Unfortunately, I have a job and personal responsibilities, and I was not able to go back right away. I didn't think I had to drop everything and go immediately as you said I had a 60-day warranty. As soon as I showed you line on the screen, without having even touched the phone, you immediately told me it was not covered and you'd charge me the same $250 to fix it. You then insisted that it was physical damage, even after I repeatedly told you there had been none. The Google search was your suggestion, a way to get me out of your store but now that you see that it says that it could have been a defective screen or improper installation you're backpedaling. I also agree with you that "Each repair must be evaluated" but you did not do that. As I mentioned, you glanced at the screen for a second, without even touching the phone you decided that I damaged it and would not move past it. You did not inspect it to see if there was any signs damage on the phone, you didn't even take the phone out of the case. I declined your offer, because I refuse to give the person that already ripped me off once more money. read more

I brought my iPad in because it wasn't charging, and was told it might be the battery or charging port. FOUR days later, they told me they "tried both" and that nothing worked. I accepted the fact that the repair might not be possible. But what really upset me is the condition they returned my iPad in. When I picked it up, the screen was no longer sitting properly together with the frame. There is a visible gap and visible glue around the edges, which was NOT there before I brought it in. The device was clearly opened and reassembled poorly. Even if a repair is unsuccessful, I expect my device to be returned in the same condition I brought it in, not damaged. I didn't pay because the issue wasn't fixed, but returning a device in worse shape than when it arrived is unacceptable. At the very least, they should have been honest and told me that something was damaged during the repair attempt. I'm sharing this so others know to be cautious and to check their device carefully before leaving the shop. read more

I wanted to wait about a month or so before making a review. I stopped by about a month and a half ago to have my iPad Pro repaired. This is my honest review and experience. If you don't want to read all of this just skip to the last paragraph. My iPad Pro was not charging. I took it to a couple of franchised type shops in the area that either concluded that the problem was the charging port and or battery. Both other shops quoted around $400-$800 for the repair. Initially, I didn't not know what to make of the cost but it seemed that they both just threw out random prices, but that could be just what I thought. I also contacted their other locations that gave me inconsistent pricing for the same repairs. I won't mention the name of those shops here. I needed a third opinion so I went to Crystal International. After being recommended by two of my friends, I took my iPad to Crystal International. They conducted a quick test and similarly concluded that the charging port was damaged and needed to be replaced. I asked about the battery and they mentioned that it doesn't often go bad but they would check it once it was opened. I decided to move forward with the repair by Crystal because the cost was unbeatable and worth the chance and would save me from doing the work myself. I think it was a 24hr turnaround. I returned to pick it up and got it back with a new charging port. Battery was left alone because nothing was found wrong with it. A month and a half later, zero issues with changing or holding a charge or anything else. It has been working as it should since the repair. Summary: Excellent customer service. Extremely fair pricing! Excellent workmanship! They have a sheet with device models with costs of the types of repairs. So, if you are considering purchasing a repair kit off eBay or Amazon and working on your device yourself, DON'T! Just save yourself time and some money and just take it to Crystal International. They have the tools and experience to get it done right. Highly recommended! read more

We were driving and let our 3 year old watch YouTube on our iPhone. Unfortunately, we also had the window open and our son thought it'd be funny to throw the phone outside of a moving car.
