My wife's iPhone 5s wouldn't carry a charge. For the days prior to stepping into Happy Phone, it would charge but die within an hour or two. Finally one day, while eating next door at Yuri, it died and wouldn't power on. You'd see the charging symbol when plugged in, but it would never boot up. Since Happy Phone was next door she figured she'd drop it off and have it fixed while we eat. She walks in, explains the situation and says she probably needs her battery changed. She comes back 30 minutes later and they tell her it's not a battery problem. That's fine. Bad luck for us. The kicker is that he says he's still charging us! What? I'm thinking that's fine. He's gotta make a living. What did NOT sit well with me were his comments. He told my wife that he normally tests the battery first, but since my wife told him to change the battery, he did exactly what she said, which is the reason why he's charging her. SMH He offers us to come back the next day if we want him to test the charging port. We agree. Why not. We just spent $35 on a brick. He comes back and says it's not the charging port. He then offers to return $15 if we let him keep the battery, which we decline. We get home and plug the phone in just for grins and now we don't even get the iPhone charging symbol anymore. Go figure. For me this is just bad customer service. I called a few other places in the area and asked how they handle repairs like this and they all said they wouldn't charge me anything if it wasn't a battery issue. So why the extra star? He did offer to credit us for the battery and test the charging port. I'll give him. an extra star for effort. Overall, though, I was pretty disappointed in the whole experience there. read more

Which is a superb deal in comparison to the other competing phone stores that were around $110 without tax! This place not only fixed my phone screen, but they also gave me a GREAT deal for installing a tempered glass on top of it. I went in to ask for a screen replacement for my iPhone 7, and they said they would charge me $90. They also said that they would install a tempered glass for only $10 more, which by itself is usually $24.99. What's more is that when I paid with cash, I was not charged for tax, bringing my total down to a flat $100. It was such a great deal! Just to let everyone know, they also fix laptops ;). Initially I took my Macbook Air to an authorized Apple dealer to have them look at it because my laptop will no longer charge. They charged me $65 just for a diagnostic fee and to make an extremely long story short, they wanted $489 to replace a motherboard (initially $500, but since they took so long to get back to me, they gave me a discount...uhm you can take t.hat $11 and shove it where the sun don't shine). That's basically the cost of another laptop So I was starting to feel like all hope was lost until I was referred to this place. First of all, if they can't fix it, they won't charge you (yay). Second of all, they replaced my motherboard and fixed my charging port for $191. They're not an authorized Apple repair shop but I saved $300 so I'll take it! Background:- My iPhone 6s Plus charger port went bad. To replace the charger port one has to replace the part which contains headphone jack, speakers, microphones etc. Refer to @2:33 in the following video showing it's that one has to replace whole unit:- https://youtu.be/vphY08SHjFk Also Attached is the photo of part with circled green part is charger and circled green part is headphone jack showing it as one unit which needs to be replaced for this fix. I usually change iPhone screen and batteries myself but since this was complex fix wanted to find expert who can do it. Found this place online and called, quoted price for the fix was $55 went there Wednesday evening around 6:00 PM. They replaced the part in an hour. Paid $55 + tax. As I got in the car noticed that the headphone is not working. I went right back they said they were closed and told me to come back next day. Went there next day around 5:45 PM and they told me to come back and collect the phone at 7PM. Went there at 7 and they told me that they have to send the phone to their expert as they couldn't figure out the issue and told me to come back next day. They asked me for my pin to test the phone which I gave it to them and they gave me a old loaner phone with my sim. The girl who fixed it told me that she replaced the part from the old phone and once the part is replaced with another one everything should work. But owner keep on insisting that they just replaced the charging port and never touched the other parts which as per the video fact is not possible. She started saying that you may have to pay extra despite me telling her that it's one part and it's installation issue. Went back today to pick up my phone and the owner and the girl who fixed the phone were there. The owner told me that since to fix my phone they had to send it to expert(due to their inabilities to fix) she has to pay extra $70 and told me that I owe half of it. Despite me telling her that its installation issue she refused to listen. When I started talking about facts about one part replacement as per video facts she started to get defensive. She said that they are not responsible for other things which stopped working. She started showing me the work order which stated that replace charging port and started threatening me about the consumer court. She was very rude and started to raise her voice on me. She said if u pay only then u get your phone otherwise won't. Looked at her felt pity that how people can go that low for few dollars and ready to spoil reputation of their business. I asked the girl who fixed the phone that is it fair? She was overruled by the employer lady to dictate what she wanted. She agreed to come down 5 dollars after the girl who fixed the phone told her. The girl who fixed the phone was understanding and willing to admit their wrongdoing but couldn't as the owner lady was overruling her. I finally paid another $30 and got my phone. I was surprised at how fast my iPhone screen was replaced. We had a very good chat and I found out that he can fix many things. I am definitely taking all my things that I was ready to dispose to be fixed. I have 2 Laptops, an IPad and a Kindle. I dropped off my laptop a week ago. They told me to come back in a couple of days for the diagnostics to finish. I came back in 3 days. They couldn't find my laptop or any paper work. I started to get an uneasy feeling about this business. It said since 2004. I5is a multi service store, cell phone plans,dmv, cell phone repair. They told me that they would call me as soon as they found out about my laptop. A couple of days went by. They told me that it would be ready this Thursday. I went in Thursday 15 and told me at 5pm. Went back at 5.30pm. Picked up laptop. 120.00 ( Mother board Reflow) . They failed to tell me that I also needed a new battery. They had the laptop for a week. I will be very careful guys. I do not think people here know what they are doing. I got my screen replaced and my Touch ID stopped working. When I complained the next day, they told me to go to Apple Store. And I did. The Apple rep who ran the tests found that the Touch ID module was missing. And fixing would cost another 170$. I took the phone back to Happy Phone only to learn that they can not do anything about it now but can return the cost of screen replacement. While I appreciate the gesture of returning the money, I must now add additional money to get Touch ID enabled. read more

Warning on this place! This place charged me $80 to put a chip in my key fob and said they programmed my key so my car would work, yet I drove the car there without the chip he put in and one that was not working; the tech guy claims he fixed that, what a lie because my car drove without the chip and just needed to insert the key. He then said they would call me to have the key programmed so I could use the buttons on the key, they NEVER CALLED!!!! I went there to get a refund and the guy said the $80 was for labor which was him to programming my key so the car would work, yet that's a LIE because my key got me there without the chip or programming...he refused to give me my refund and $ back and I still have a key that does not open my car doors, the chip wasn't needed because one was in there and the key starts the car regardless!!!! My vehicle is a 2006 Jeep Liberty that isn't like the new cars of today. I warn you not to go there for service. He didn't give another person a refund when they asked for it when I first went there and argued with them too about their phone and him not working on it..he is not clear or truthful and you have been warned if you go there for service.
