I cracked my screen and came here for a screen replacement. I chose this place thinking "oh they have 5 Star yelp reviews, I'll just go here" I made a HUGE mistake! They brought out my phone with a screen that made it look discolored AND they broke my home button which was originally working properly before I came in. How can a store claim to fix iPhones and end up breaking it even more!! I demanded for my money back and my cracked screen to be put back on. WASTED MY TIME HERE! This place uses after market screens and cheap hardware from china to repair your iphone. I think they used apple certified hardware in the beginning to build up a high Yelp status and then tried to cut costs. Literally, my iPhone 7 is constantly tripping out - making calls to random people, opening random apps and the home button barely works. I went back and showed them the problems and they said "Wow, I've never seen this happen before and I've been working on iPhones for years, can we put back on your old cracked screen, try restarting the software and it should work (It didn't). Please BEWARE of this place, the good Yelp reviews are a thing of the past. I now have to take my phone to the Apple store because they screwed it up so much and they are telling me I may need to replace the entire phone.. DO NOT COME HERE! read more

If I ever break my phone screen again, I'm definitely coming back to Jason. Never have I ever shattered my iPhone screen until a month ago when I dropped it at the gym. The crack started at my home button and spread around the bottom half of my screen making it hard to type on the keyboard. Luckily my home button was still in one piece but barely hanging on to the rest of the phone. My phone screen was cracked so badly and this past weekend it finally gave out on me! The screen was completely not touchable, I couldn't even slide past the passcode. I needed a quick fix and luckily QuickStart Repair was there to save the day! The building is a bit hard to find as it's a part of many other office buildings, however if you drive all the way down to BUILDING 4, it will be noticeable with their "cell phone repair" signs and whatnot. Upon entering the building, you are asked to fill out a warranty form of some type. The actual replacement took about 20 minutes which isn't too bad at all. The people working there are very friendly and will answer all of your questions! Great customer service. I think the man that greeted/helped me might have been the owner; he was very nice and friendly. I paid $70 to repair the cracked screen on my iPhone 6 Plus, super affordable while other places in the area quoted me over $120. I went on Friday around 10:30am. It took less than 30 mins to fix AND they even placed a tempered glass on my screen for free! I did make sure I checked my front facing camera right then and there and it's just as good as new! No problemo! Overall the whole experience was good, quick and easy! :) Side note: They are located at Building 4 with their front door facing REAR of the complex. Wow! I went here today because I cracked my screen and seeing the good reviews I decided to come here. It was honestly the best choice I could make as he said it would take him only 30 minutes for me to have a new screen. It turns out however that my screen wasn't broken at ALL!! Man I really wanted to like this place. I'm from the East Coast but was in San Jose for business. My iPhone 6 had a cracked screen so I did some research and came here because of the good reviews and the price was cheaper than most other places in SJ. They replaced the screen while I waited (20 minutes or so). They were friendly and professional and I was impressed with the result...AT THE TIME. Fast forward a month later, the touchscreen starts to lose sensitivity and stops working all together. I'm half way across the country and SOL. I don't know how they receive 5 star reviews, but it's probably because they offer you a free tempered glass cover so you can instantly give them a 5 star review after seeing how perfect your phone looks once repaired. However, the reviews are terribly deceiving. If you want to preserve your phone life, do not come here. They don't offer you an original guerilla glass screen replacement, but instead a fragile, crappy plastic cover. That's why they offer you the tempered glass screen cover... Without it, your phone cannot withstand any minor falls. I came here to get my phone repaired because I was being cheap and did not want to spend an extra $40 at Apple.... Big mistake. After a few days of getting my phone fixed here, my phone face planted, and the tempered glass wasn't even cracked! The screen itself did... Then I went in to see what the warranty could offer me: the guy charged me $60 for another screen replacement! If I went to Apple, this problem wouldn't have occurred. Lesson Learned! I have been hold off to write this review after my iPhone 7 has been repaired for ~half a year, to ensure it still function properly. My phone screen was cracked and unfortunately Apple store couldn't accept it, as it's slightly bent. It blowed my mind because my phone wasn't noticeably bent. I wouldn't know until he put it on the table and slide a piece of paper through the couple millimeters gap. Yup, that tiny gap. Anyway, that's how I found QuickStart. I stopped by during lunch time and the technician repaired it pretty quickly as I recalled. Maybe 1-20 minutes. The whole process was very professional, friendly and quick. To avoid cracking the screen again, he installed tamper glass as another layer of protection. I tried to be careful with my phone, but still accidentally drop it a couple times.
