Sold me a stolen iPad Mini. Tucked away in a rather odd shopping center with no direct access is a little strip mall with a rather nondescript phone shop not visible from the street, the perfect place to sell fenced goods to. So a friend of mine was developing an app, needed his friends to use an apple device to test it with. I saw an ad for an iPad mini on Facebook. Called the ad, drove down to the shop, got it home and started trying to use it. "Blocked by MDM" I looked at the MDM and it was owned by Comcast. This iPad mini had been likely stolen from an Xfinity store, or truck, and ended up being resold by Fred. I wanted my money back, but the owner insisted on selling me a "New" iPad 9. I put "New" in quotes because there wasn't even a box. WTF? I was just in a bad situation, the only way I was going to get anything out of this would be to pay Fred's extortion. While talking to owner he knew a company he could send the iPad off to remove the MDM. So I guess this wasn't his first time running into this scenario. read more

These guys actually gave me the best price but I opted to not fixing it because I can simply put a screen protector for my iPad damage. I know you're probably wondering what iPad damage? Well I have an iPad Pro 12.6" generation 2. A few years ago the screen cracked. We were ok for another year or so but then small pieces of glass started to fall. This may cut my kids' fingers so I figured it's time to get fixed. The iPad is still fully functional. Screen and digitizer fix for this iPad model is $550. This place quoted me the same as another repair shop. However when I simply asked to do just the screen only, they offered me $400. I almost pulled the trigger, but it's still too pricey compared to getting a newer model iPad. I talked to them on the phone to get the quote. Yelp also automatically created a project quote and sent it to a few places. I got a bunch of long template responses on what I have to do to get a quote, but this place responded with a simple phone number which I preferred. My iPhone 11 Pro was blacklisted because the previous person who sold it to me scammed me. Everywhere I went I was turned away and told that nothing could be done. I dropped my phone off at CCR and they assured me that they would be able to find a solution. They did mention it would take some time but they kept me updated through the process. Although. I called them every few days to check in, they were extremely patient with me, answered every call and every question. Once my phone was repaired and ready for pick up they installed a glass protector for both my 11 as well as my SE on the spot. I was going to leave but realized I had not brought my case. They let me pick a case and although they normally charge 10 dollars they threw it in for free. Often business overlook giving their customers the care and support they deserve. CCR is different, they are approachable and kind people. They answer your questions and when you show your loyalty to them, they give you deals on what they offer. I know moving forward they CCR is the only place I will go to and is the only cell phone repair place I will suggest to any other person. I came here to replace my Samsung s21+ screen since they were the closest one that had it in stock even though there were other stores with more reputable reviews. After the experience I had I wish I would had went somewhere else. I had to visit this place a total of 3 times. I came back after the first time because my screen would turn solid white after turning on the battery saver and they did a poor job wiping down the inside of the front camera that showed visible dust which made it blurry. I had to come back the third time because they did an extremely poor job putting the screen and back cover on. As of right now my screen is not aligned correctly and my back cover has gaps. The lense for the flash was also missing. Any water that would get in would immediately damage my phone. I would highly advise taking your business to the many other reputable phone repair stores. read more

it is not possible to give zero stars hence the one star. I took my Pixel 4 XL for a simple repair. About a month ago the back glass of the phone broke after an item fell on it. The phone had been working fine until yesterday when the screen was no longer operational. I brought it in for a screen repair since its most likely the LCD or backlight faulted. The shop claimed they replaced the screen and the phone was still wasn't working. They instead were going to check the motherboard for damage. At the end of the day they made the outlandish claim that it was the CPU that is malfunctioning. Completely bogus. The CPU is not the chip for the LCD and second when a cpu malfunctions it overheats from the excess energy it draws. This individual does not know what he is doing or he is scamming people into paying more for repairs he will never do. Don't waste your time and effort with this scammer. Also, I had to pay a $15 dollar fee for the "analysis". They guy never even took the phone apart. I sent my phone in for repair to google repair center. They changed the screen, back cover and battery due to some issues with the Pixel 4's battery. I paid 100 less than what i was quoted for the " CPU" issue i was quoted. read more

I was having issues with charging my iPhone and wanted to get it fixed right away. I was able to get estimates from various places but Computer Cellphone Repair had the most reasonable price - including the parts and the labor. Fred was a quick responder and very helpful. The phone needed the charger port to be replaced and it was done within 30 minutes. There was a person there that was able to help me out and gave me recommendations on how to avoid the c-port to burn out again. I went home with my phone charging normally - not needing to stress over it! They do have an ATM machine inside as well. The shop is located within a plaza so parking isn't hard to find but is located in a pretty busy street. The shop itself had various cases going back to the Nokia's and different phones on display.
