I'm not the type of person to get my nails done, 9 times out of 10 I walk away unhappy cos of the shape or a bump or in pain and cut. Just my luck, so I haven't bothered in a while. I decided to treat myself a few weeks ago and saw nothing but good reviews for this place. I was a walk-in and they had room for me so I was waiting to pick a color and I watched another girl getting her nails done with a gradient from black to gold holo and I fell in LOVE with the way they looked so I asked for the same thing lol just a different holo-powder color. They sat me down and Lily did my manicure. She was SOOO gentle and listened to everything I wanted, I've never had my nails shaped or the length I wanted them before. Once she finished up, Kelly came over and did a beautiful black and rainbow holo gradient. THEY WERE BOMB!!!!! I loved them so much and I was treated so good while there, they actually talked to me, which also never happens in my precious experience of going to the nail salon. I left happy and knew I'd be back. My nails grow super fast so I went in yesterday for my fill and to get them trimmed cos I realized I can't do super long nails lol. I made an appointment for after work and walked in and they accidentally double booked, But Kelly was super sweet about it and I didn't mind. Kelly came and got me from my car and I ended up sitting with Lee (or Leigh, sorry for spelling). OMG SUCH A SWEETHEART!! She also listened to everything I wanted and talked to me and we laughed a bunch. She sang a lot during the fill and that made my heart happy :) I showed her what I wanted and she was like oh I got this, and when I went to show her the picture again she shooed my phone away playfully. She really did get it and my valentines nails turned out so good!!!! She even gave me all my files and stuff in a ziplock bag for me to take home. I felt safe and sanitary the whole time there! I love this place and HIGHLY recommend it! My new spot for sure :) read more

I came here for the first time today for a full set and deluxe pedicure, first since before COVID and first since I moved to Tacoma. I will definitely be coming back! The ladies here are super duper nice and really took their time making sure I left flawless. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I say she nailed it and then some! The deluxe pedicure was excellent and very relaxing. I need them to teach my husband how to rub my feet the way they do lol The salon is very pleasant and clean. It helps that right now they're only doing appointments so it's not the overcrowded, chaotic scene you'd normally see at any given nail place on a Saturday afternoon. read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but I've been so irritated so many times here that I must share my experience to help prevent it from happening to you! I really want to like this place because it is so convenient for me ...but I've only had one decent experience out of the six times I've gone here. So that's my last chance, The guy that runs it is friendly enough, but the ladies (his wife and her sister) all seem rushed and they are always in a hurry. Prices are pretty nitpicky too.... it was $48 to get a French tip fill today and I said what is the extra three dollars for? He said that's because they cut them shorter, I said I didn't even get them cut shorter?...she filed them down slightly? He told me that counts as a cut and put the three dollar charge on it anyways. Beware of the prices here. read more

The more i look at my nails the moee embarrased i am that i have to walk around like this. I wasnt upset that my appt started late. But once i was sat down for my full set it felt really rushed. And the results pretty clearly indicate that not a lot of time or care was put into them. I requested short almond shaped. When sizing them and asked foe a bit shorter the tech literally just grunted at me. I dont even know what i wouod call these. Besides just bad. The shape is inconsistent. The pinky is ao crooked and the thumb is totally uneven. And then the polish application was even bad read more

I went with friends to get pedis, and all three of us agreed afterwards that we would go back happily. All three of our technicians were fabulous! The people there were so kind, skilled, and fun--best pedi experience I've had in a while! The shop is small but not crowded. Try them out, for sure! read more

Love love love! This was my first time here. Going in my goal was to have my nails come out to $25 because every time i go to a nail salon it does NOT come out to the base price because of some hidden fee unfortunately. Thee (i think idk how to spell her name :() did my nails. I called and they said come in 20mins. I came in and picked my color, got seated immediately. I wanted short/medium nails, straight shaped with nail polish on top. Thee was so sweet! She was chatting with me and I enjoyed that, she's very sweet and kept making sure my nails were what I wanted them to be! I stayed and dried my nails for about 20mins, paid and guess what! $25 for nails! I was ecstatic and the ladies were very sweet on the way out as well. I will be back!! read more

I have made an appointment for a classic Mani &Pedi. There were only 2 ladies working. I felt like my service was rushed and there was a lot of waiting around because there was not enough staff. Not relaxing at all. Additionally they misrepresent prices online. Manicure is listed for $23 on their website, but when you finally sit down, they show you the menu and there is nothing offered below $35. Yes, they are notifying you about "the current" price but only when your service has already started. When I asked at the check out why there was this discrepancy between what they advertise online and what they actually charge, I was told by the main lady that manicure listed online does not include color (LOL). They still have not updated their online prices. I will not go back there to support unethical business practices. read more

Love this (not only Nails) but diverse, cute Salon. From out of town and needed some things done for a big day for my boyfriend, family and I. Not only was it super cheap for great service, but the atmosphere and Salon is clean and spacious. Plus, I had my eyebrows and lip waxed and never has it not hurt to get this done. Came in last week for pricing. Kelly is the owner and the prices are decent too. Now till end of Sept is 20%off of all services.. ex: $35 deluxe pedi is $28! So I brought the boy in today for his deluxe pedi. Le gave him his pedi and he said she was a great massager and the leg mask was great. The total ending with hot stone leg massage plus lotion .... fabulous! His words hehe. I'm coming in next week! read more

I have FINALLY found my home nail salon. I've gotten so accustomed to the front desk person looking displeased at my arrival and only communicating through finger pointing. This place had such a welcoming, friendly face that the shock prevented me from having a coherent conversation. SO MANY POLISH COLORS. I changed my mind about three times before settling on a teal-ish Tiffany blue. Already received compliments on the choice. The nail technician was so patient and didn't rush through the process which I truly appreciated. To be fair, there wasn't a wait of people after my arrival, but I'd like to assume this is the general practice. My only two gripes (so small, I swear): I didn't get assistance bringing my belongings to the drying station, and the top coat was put on haphazardly midway the drying session (refer to photo of side-of-nail). Ok so! I went to a salon Friday and they butchered the job completely. It's my birthday week and my nails were thick, crooked, the wrong color and flipped up. My friend recommend this spot, I couldn't be more grateful. My appointment was ready and I was able to add on a pedicure as well! Within 15 minutes Ly fixed my nails without having to take off and restart. I'm very satisfied especially since she didn't overcharge working on someone else's work. I explain what happened and she was happy to hook me up. Communication of great here and the work is excellent! If you're clear on what you want/expect I'm sure you'll leave satisfied! Also-- pedicures are great and unless you do something really fancy the prices are pretty solid avg 30/40$ for most things including gel! Thank y'all for everything! read more

Unfortunately I am still not having any luck finding a quality nail salon in Tacoma. This place overcharged me intentionally. I was charged $85 for acrylic nails with a solid gel color (purple). They charged me $75 for my daughter with exact same style with a different color (blue). The lady told me she had to charge me more because my nails were longer than my daughters but you will see in the picture they are the exact same length. My gel pedicure which was $35, they charged an extra $23 more for a simple flower with 1 diamond in the center on my big toe. All together total $218. Not to mention this place has an ant problem. They have small ants crawling on the tables that are already filthy. The pedicure chairs sound run down & the water makes gurgle noises. Its Thee audacity for me. I was polite i paid and i left. No tip. They dont deserve it. read more

I will never go back here. Let me say this. The work LOOKS good, but there is so much more to good nails than just the LOOK. I came here on a Saturday evening with a picture of a look that I wanted. I asked her if she had acrylic color powder because I don't like the way paint comes out. So I always pay extra for color acrylic powder. She said that she does have the color powder and that the style I wanted would be $68. I said okay and sat down in the chair. I noticed that she had somewhat of a snobby/irritated attitude (I'm guessing she was the one in charge). I also knew that I needed my nails done, and from the reviews, she had the best nail work that I could see, that was close to me at the time. When we got half way through my nails she told me that I needed to pay.....now that caught me completely off gaurd. I've NEVER and I mean NEVER paid halfway through a service. EVER! And I get my nails done, toes, hair, facials, massages, etc. And never have I ever! Paid halfway through. AND OF COURSE I SAID SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I felt so disrespected, I was infuriated. Not only because she asked me to pay half way, but because 1. I had to wait 20 minutes before I got my nails done and I saw 3 people leave and not pay until they left, 2. How the hell do you look at me? I walk in, immensely presentable!, beautiful, bag on hand, respectful, but you ask me to pay half way through my service as though you're assuming that I'm going to skip payment or try not to pay?, 3. You wait until you're halfway done with my nails so my only option is to get upset and leave with half done nails, or continue on. So I continued on, with my future Yelp review in mind. She starts to PAINT my nails and I'm so irritated that I didn't even realize that she was PAINTING my nails and not using acrylic color powder as we agreed. When it came to my ombré tips she airbrushed them. If you've ever had your nails airbrushed then you would know that it can come off easily. She finishes my nails and I just couldn't wait to leave. I tipped her $8 and left. Yeah because I still have proper manners and business etiquette. I own a business so I try hard to follow the societal norms such as tipping. So a total of $76 When I get home is when I started to calculate The full set says $25. $40 for color powder. $5 for shape $5 for ombré $2 for 2 clear nails $5 for gold foil That totals $57 and it really should be less because she used nail polish and not color powder. But we are just going to say $40 to prove that even with the higher priced full set, I was still over charged by at least $10 dollars. Why? Idk. I really don't. But I can tell you that I will never go back there and I do not suggest anyone else does. So back to the nails. Did they look nice? Yes! They looked great! Now for the FINALE!. . . . The first nail broke 4 days later, the next 1 the following day, 2 days later another nail broke, and another the following day. So half of my nails broke off within 8 days of getting them done. Not only was I over charged, I was also over charged for nails that didn't even last a week. Tragic. Never again. read more

Came in for a French tip refill, friendly people but after going home and actually seeing my nails, it was very sloppy and inconsistent. It was like she was rushing. $56 down the drain but atleast I know not to go back :/ Update: I went to get my nails removed and found out that this place had used dip on top of my gel nails for refill. My nails are messed up and being new to getting my nails down, was very disappointing to experience *anyone that doesn't know. Gel/Dip - no refill. Acrylic- yes refill. read more

The ladies at the front desk were friendly and kept the place clean and sparkly. Kim did an amazing job on my facial making my skin well hydrated, smooth, and tight. I also got a couple of skin tags removed, which start at $10 depending on how small or large they are. Numbing cream is given prior to the service and Kim walked me through the process as we went. During the facial, I was also offered leg compressions while I laid down. It felt great! The facility also has skin care products for sale, which I have on hand, so it's nice to know I'm using a recommended product. When we showed up we were warmly greeted and prompty taken into the treatment rooms. I wish they put us in the same room, because it turned out there was a second treatment area in my room which another guest was started there near the end of my treatment. My facial started with cleaning my face, then a hot towel treatment followed by steam treatment and face massage. They also have these leg massagers which inflate and deflate after they zip your legs into them. I kind of wish she told me which serums she was using but also I was kind of glad to lay back and relax, and trust in her process. I have had prior facials elsewhere where they had told me every product used in an effort to upsell me. Then came the blackhead extractions and more creams, then the cooling mask and final hot towel, more serums and sunscreen. My face felt rejuvenated! My spot treatment was for a tiny mole on my upper back. They first applied numbing cream then zapped it at the end of my procedure. Very quick and it stung for only a short while, like she said. I will be back!

The cons: I do not think I received the quality customer service that should be expected when being a first timer. When I checked in, I paid, did not receive any towels, bathrobe, or hair cap, so I had to go back to the front desk to get this because I didn't realize everything was needed when you get into the locker room. I also wasn't given a short tour or any kind of knowledge about what's available in the spa. There was a lot more options than I was aware of until another patron was kind enough to give us a tour and (shout out) Suzie let me know about the different options available after my scrub. The body scrub is a little in your face if you get the body scrub done in the pool area. If I were to get another body scrub, I would specifically ask to do it in the second room because there's a less traffic. As a first timer, it was definitely not something I expected, and I did not mean to stare, but holy crap what an experience. The services are a little pricey. I love getting facials but $90 for a 30 minute facial seems a little too pricey for myself when I currently already go to different spa to get my facials and it's about $120 for an hour facial. Might just be a preference, but, I will probably give Olympic Spa at least a chance to get experience their products and see if there's anything I really enjoy. Pros: You can literally stay all day. There is a restaurant that you can have lunch at and there are a lot of great options for you to do for the time that you were staying at the spa. I did the body scrub and was actually able to move my 6 o'clock appointment to 315 due to a last-minute opening. Suzie was amazing and tried to make me feel a little better about all the dead skin that was coming off of my body. The water options at the front have some great selections, however, they are $20 each. I bought one for each of us and I will be bringing that back with fruit inclusions for the future. Or DIY it and add some cucumber, strawberries, pineapple to your water to give it a real good relaxing vibe. And finally, it is a little strange when you are not used to seeing naked people, like ever, and seeing a room full of naked members. After 10 minutes though, you're used to it and it's pretty normal. I think the whole setting is set up for you to be your most comfortable self. And if you aren't comfortable with being butt, naked nasty your first time there, the quiet room, rooms, and cold room give you an option to keep your robot and still experience some of the amenities. Since there are obviously no photos/phones allowed in any of the spa areas, the only pictures I will be able to provide will be the food. Which is super convenient because it's in the spa and you just go in in your robe. I will definitely be returning. And I'm looking forward to my future adventures. Due to the customer service, which is one of the main things I look for in this type of service, I'll be giving it a three star review. However, when I go back, I will be reevaluating this review based on the customer service I experience at that time.

A quick "hello, my name is Laurinda, this is where you will receive your facial today" is all it would've taken. It was a very negative first impression. About ten minutes into the facial treatment she ripped my nose hoop out and claimed she didn't know I had it. It's a large gold hoop, it's very obvious. Most facialist ask me to leave it in because with it out, my skin is technically "open" and it's a liability, so I was relying on her professionalism to handle that request. She didn't apologize but just stated, "If I would've know that was there I'd have asked you to take it out." If she would've introduced herself to me at the start of my appointment and looked at my face, she would've seen my nose hoop. But somehow it was my fault. I'm a little worried that she was less than foot from my face during the treatment and claimed she couldn't see it. Ten minutes later she proceeded to rip out my earring on my right ear. She then blamed that on me (again) saying that my earrings were weird because they had a back post. I'm pretty sure 95% of earrings have posts. She then proceeded (without my permission) to aggressively rub my ears. I asked her to stop because it hurt and she said "I'm trying to feel your earrings to understand what I'm working with." I realized when I got home that my ear was actually bleeding. Overall, the whole experience was extremely uncomfortable and quite frankly painful at times. I regret not leaving sooner. This was a Mother's Day gift and it left me more stressed and upset than when I walked in. When I left the treatment room after getting dressed she was no where to be found. 0/10 for customer service.
