A friend of mine told me about this place. When I walked in I was quite surprised how nice this place was. Dark, upscale, beautiful paintings, and wine bottles. The center is a beautiful round bar. I had a work lunch here, and the bar tender was very kind and helpful, told me about their specials. I had their burger, which had a nice thick patty, a sourdough bun, and cooked to perfection. My friend also liked his fish. I really need to come back and try their steak! So, I went back for dinner with my wife 2 days later. My life had the burger and she loved it, this time they used a brioche bun. I had the beef Wellington, the crispy pastry, steak with mushrooms crust, and the gravy was simply amazing. I went here with my wife for Date Night. It was a Friday evening, reservations for 6:30. We were seated promptly. They were very busy. We arrived just in time for the live musics which was nice. We ordered a bottle of white wine. Calamari for our appetizer, 2 NY strips cooked medium with sides of whipped potatoes and vegetables. It took us about 15 mins to get our appetizer and an additional 35-40 minutes to receive our food. But it was well worth the wait. The food was excellent, everything had great flavor. The star of the show was my cinnamon roll which are made in house. It was by far the best cinnamon roll I have ever had in my life. The downside that I did want to mention that did kind of stick out to me after we left was that other than our waiter we really did not have any interaction with any of the other staff. I found that very interesting that no one stopped by to make sure that our meals were to our liking, no one mentioned thank you for coming or I hope you have a good evening. It should have been a sign to leave when the first thing you see is "absolutely no weapons allowed " plastered on the entrance. When we went to this place the first time, we started with a cup of wine, which was an amazing pour! Then, I got the artichoke as a starter. It had great flavors and was a great piece to share. I truly enjoyed it! Then it went downhill. I got the fried chicken sliders, and I was craving that crunchiness, but they came baked and didn't have much flavor. They tasted like those quick lunch snacks you pack for your kid. The caprese salad and the wedge were very disappointing. Not a lot of thought went into them, and there was no flavor. So utterly disappointed. We came here for Father's Day dinner as a party of seven, with a member who was not myself booking a reservation. Multiple people joining us have dietary restrictions, including the person who booked the reservation, and the online menu seemed accommodating. Lo and behold, when we arrive, the menu is entirely different. The newfound options were extremely limited for many of us, but we made it work. That didn't change the fact that the food didn't taste great. While I didn't order the chicken piccata, I usually do order it at other restaurants. Two members of my party ordered it and it didn't look like chicken piccata at all. The person next to me was one of them, and I tried a little. The sauce was disappointing, both of them said the chicken was nasty and coated in what I assumed was butter. Almost everyone had a severely upset stomach before we even left the restaurant. Service took awhile for everything. And lastly, the band. We had 0 notice that there would be one, nor about the fee. They placed us right next to the music, leaving us unable to converse with one another almost the entire time, so we were all pretty upset about that. We didn't know until we received the bill that there was a $20 fee per person for the music, leaving us with a $140 fee. Memorable experience for sure. Arrived for our reservation on Valentine's Day and the hostess told us to pick a table. They were not busy whatsoever. We sat there for 30 minutes without one single person giving us menus, filling our glasses with water, NOTHING.We tried several times to get their attention and they flat out ignored us. Two other parties came in after us. Both got menus and drinks before we could even get water or menus. I finally stopped a lady and asked her if we were invisible. A few days ago we drove by while visiting another business in the same complex and noticed this gem with its cute outdoor seating. There seemed to be a number of people sitting in the patio. Didn't know about this restaurant, and we didn't see anything on Yelp - HEY no wonder- they opened 9 days ago! Today we decided to drive back and take a chance despite the inability to check it first with Yelp... There seemed to be a decent, happy crowd dining there. It's so beautiful inside, with a beautiful large bar area and a magnificent chandelier.... no inside dining/ tables obviously right now because of the pandemic. A great enthusiast menu, which made choosing hard. We settled with the Smoked Brisket Poutine and the Street Tacos, which our waiter said was very popular. We got the brisket ones that had little fried onions and fresh cilantro on top. Very delicious and well prepared. We split the meat loaf which was also recommended, and extremely delicious... The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes and vegetables so wonderfully prepared that even my picky boyfriend who normally turns his nose up on them, loved the vegetables. They had a very creative drink menu. I started with the Tobin James California champagne dream weaver, and Nick got the Fairy godmother which had Makers Mark, lemon juice, housemaid simple syrup... And for my second drink (lol) I got the Sassy. Fitting. Anyway, That wonderful drink had peanut butter whiskey, blackberries, orange peel muddled, and a splash of simple syrup. Completely unprofessional! I have made several appointments to meet with two different people to discuss catering options and when I came to the scheduled appointment, the restaurant was closed. When I tried to call the contact number that I had, I could hardly hear the person because of the dogs barking in the background. The person that I spoke with was unaware of the appointment and had just left the restaurant without making an attempt to reschedule the appointment and made multiple excuses for why I had been disregarded. If this is the way they treat potential customers I cannot imagine how poorly they're in restaurant customers are treated! Went to Krush last night and it was delicious! I hadn't been since they moved locations, which has been a while. I think it has improved! I see some older comments saying it was pricey, but I think they were very reasonably priced. We got the French onion dip, coconut shrimp, wedge salad, Caesar salad, pork chop w/ side of spinach & Mac & cheese, and bottle of wine and our total was around $90. Food was delicious and great service! It is so pretty inside and would make a good fancier date place! Great place for a nice dinner on the NW part of town! And I love supporting local restaurants! This place has it all! We have found our new favorite for delicious steaks, great drinks, classy ambience, and cool music! We arrived early on Friday night for dinner and drinks. For starters, we ordered the brussels sprouts with bacon bits and the coconut shrimp. For our mains, husband had the ribeye with his choice of onion rings and mashed potatoes for the sides. I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Both of our meals came with a delicious cheese toast. Our steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. My husband is a carnivore and picky about his steaks. He gave it a thumbs up, and I couldn't agree more. Everything we ordered was super fresh, perfectly prepared, and so delicious. The seasoned vegetables were prepared al dente and not soggy at all. The brussels sprouts were so tasty and not overly sweet. Just the way I like them. The coconut shrimp was crunchy and delicious. Kudos to the chef. (My mouth is watering as I write this, LOL.) The bartenders and servers came over to our table several times to see if there was anything we needed. Danny suggested a mixed drink that he made for my husband, which contained pineapple juice, a brandied cherry, and I'm not sure what else, but it was so darn good. We noticed that a band was setting up while we were dining that would begin playing at 7:30 pm, so we decided to stick around. Boy are we glad we did. They played songs from The Cure, Sublime, The Eagles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, UB 40, 21 Pilots, and more. What a great way to spend our Friday night! What's not to love about this place? The price for all that we ordered, including the wine and drinks, was very reasonable. I was actually expecting it to be much more, and would have been well worth it too. Okay first off, I made reservations during Friday date night dinner special which was great price for what you got. Our reservation was at 6:00pm and we were seated promptly. There was live music which was amazing! However, the service was the worst. We were seated at 6 and our appetizer order wasn't taken until 6;45 which was okay. We were enjoying our conversation and live music. But, our waiter Raymond disappeared and when 7:30 rolled around we were like why hasn't he come back to take our order. So I got up out of my seat to find Raymond. Once I found him I asked are you our server? And no joke, he says "I can be." Wow, I thought to myself. So I asked him if he can take our order and he said yes. So he takes our order and by 8 still no dinner. My friend gets up to find Raymond and asks him when our dinner will be done. He snaps at her and tells her that she told him we were in no hurry. WTF. She said no one at our table said that. Then he tells her well I haven't turned in your ticket to the cook yet! So she comes back to our table and tells us this. So by now it's 830. The table next to us had already eaten their dinner and enjoying their cocktails and were seated after us. When we arrived at the restaurant there were only 2 people seated and us. I can't even understand what the heck the problem was. I get up to look for Raymond and tell him the situation and he repeats and says we were in no hurry. I'm like no one at our table said that. I then tell him that's a lie. No one said that. I told him do you think it's acceptable for someone to wait 2 and a half hours for dinner? He said no. Again, there was a party of 4 that had finished their dinner and they were seated way after us. Another server Alicia walked by and my friend stopped her and explained the situation and she was so apologetic and said we will comp your meal. We are appreciative for that but we would've rather had a nice experience and paid for our dinner. Thank you Alicia! To the owner, we won't be back. This place has a good wine and whisky selection that is better than most in the rosedale area. They frequently have live music which is great for a nice evening. I would recommend the rib eye or Alfredo. But definitely ask to see what tasty specials they might have conjured up as well. read more

Well today was our date night. I chose this restaurant out of the blue. I did call in to make reservations in case.We arrive earlier than the time of our reservation. We were the only couple that was seated at the table. It was 3other couples at the bar drinking. The bar attendant was very nice to us checking on us our waiter as well. My husband had a old fashion and I had a blue lady drink it tasted like juice and sprite. My husband drink was good he enjoyed it. The salad was good. Our food took sometime as we were the only people sitting down hmmm. I really don't want to realize what it would be like if all the tables were full and they were busy. I think it would not be good. So our food came the steaks were on the wrong plate my husband had my sides and I had his sides so we switched in front of the waiter . Again we were the only ones sitting no one else was there except the couples at the bar. The food was okay for the prices could have been better. Food it was warm everything not sure why if we were the only one having dinner at 5pm. Well I ordered a crème brûlée it was ok. In the end it was okay my husband was happy and I will try this place again. On the menu it says they have bands on Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday. Watched several people come in after us and get drink orders. We wound up going to the bar to order drinks. Then were finally asked if we wanted something . Staff was not what you call friendly. My wife's dinner was served to me and mine to her. They looked at us and wanted us to move the plates. We sat there until they figured out they were supposed to do that. So stupid. The ribeye was super salty. Not good. dinner was served Luke warm. None of the service was done by people that had been trained to serve dinner at a fine dinning restaurant. It was very awkward. When we ordered desert we were told the lava cake was sold out. We were one of the first to have desert and the special advertised for the evening was the lava cake. So, they never make any. On the 15th, we got a confirmation email for our table on the 16th. When we got to the restaurant, it was closed for a private party! My husband inquired with the hostess and was told, "Oh, well, we blocked all the tables off online."...........Ummmm, nooooooo, I guess you didn't! We used to eat at Krush a few times a month. It has seriously gone down hill. The quality of meat is terrible. Ordered a filet, who knows what we got, certainly wasn't a filet. Let's just say we stopped at Wienerschnitzel after paying such a big bill for terrible food. Even the baked potato wasn't cooked. The owner should spend more time in the restaurant, and see what the employees do when they aren't there. They basically sit in a back table and enjoy a bottle of wine, or a cocktail while on their phones. We will never recommend nor go back. I was so excited to hear that they had reopened. My husband took me here last Wednesday night. They had wonderful music, and the bottle of Daou Cabernet was exceptional; however, the food was the worst I've ever had-- very disappointing. We won't return. I ordered the Seafood risotto. It was described as having Salmon, Shrimp and Crab. First, it tasted fishy, like bad shrimp, as there was a lot of little pieces of shrimp. The crab was not crab, but Krab, as in imitation. And not one smidge of salmon. My husband had the Fish & Chips, and it was soaked in grease, and tasted fishy as well. Valentine's Day was a disaster of an experience. Upon arrival we were ignored for a good few minutes before being acknowledged. The curly haired server dude (who ends up charging my card for the wrong meal later) looked us in the eye and completed looked away at us waiting for a host to seat us. Once we ordered drinks the glasses were noticeably filthy. We ordered the overpriced but what tasted like a VERY cheap steak. On top of that they got my order completely wrong. To top it all off, they carded me for someone else's order which was more expensive $60-$70 more than our original order. I never got an apology or discount for that mistake. When we asked to speak to the manager to get it changed, she had no idea how to work her Point Of Sale system. My bank account looks like a mess because of their authorization. Very bad experience. I tried their French onion soup for the first time... I thought it was incredible. My wife, who seldom will even sample that, tried it and loved it too. We both ordered steaks and we're both very satisfied. Henry, Ray and Denny were working the floor and bar, and although it wasn't busy, their attention to us was perfect... didn't pester, and didn't neglect. A new wine room is almost finished off to the side just past the entrance is almost done. That will be a really neat to sit on the leather sofa and taste new varieties. We heard they'll resume having live music on the patio in May and be open for Sunday brunch soon as well. Looking forward to that. read more
