The chicken was great for a gas station, and pretty good, period. Friendly service too. I have no complaints.

I didn't even know that that was possible but we were in the mood to try something new. We sat at the bar around 2:30 PM on Valentine's Day because they don't do to go orders. (Not to self) 10 minutes after we sat down there was a line. There were only a 3 people eating plus us , but this place gets waves of people at all hours. It's best to try it at opening or in between lunch and dinner. We've had other items there like the jambalaya, which is just OK, nothing special. The peel and eat shrimp is a highlight if you're looking for an appetizer and you're willing to put in the work. Service was great and attentative. If you don't know where the location is, it's in the back of the Golden Nugget casino on your left.

It's inside Golden Nugget. I'm rating 3.5 round to 4 stars. This bar seats about 14. We had a party of 5 and had a section to ourselves at the end. We got the House Roast Pan Roast and New England Clam Chowder. I was surprised they brought out the Pan Roast first. Right before we finished, we asked if the chowder was still coming out. I think they forgot. We also had to ask for crackers. The soup was thick with lots of clams. The pan roast was decent. It was thick and creamy with bits of crab, tons of shrimp, lobster, seafood. It came with a side of rice. The oysters were good. Forgot to ask where from. We had some Bloody Mary oyster shooters and a glass of MIO sparkling sake. That was refreshing, sweet just like moscato. You start out with two rolls of bread and can always ask for more which we did to dip with the chowder and pan roast.

This used to be one of our absolute favorite restaurants, so it breaks my heart to see some of the…read morechanges happening lately. I'm giving 4 stars because there are still some great things here, and I genuinely want to see this place succeed. The good: The pasta is still fantastic. My boys and my husband all ordered pasta dishes, and every bowl was huge, perfectly cooked, and honestly delicious. They were raving about it. If you're craving a generous plate of pasta, they're still doing that right. We also ordered the Prawn Melinsae -- a dish we always get -- and it tasted different this time. Not bad, not great, just noticeably... off. Hard to put a finger on it. Where things went wrong: My mom and I both ordered fish (her the Sole, me the Salmon). Unfortunately, both were undercooked -- mine slightly, hers completely raw. This was especially disappointing because the Sole was the entire reason we came for her birthday; it used to be her favorite dish in Carson City. We asked to switch to the Eggplant Parmesan instead because we didn't want the fish simply re-cooked and possibly overdone. There was a bit of back-and-forth at first, but eventually they agreed. The issue is... the eggplant wasn't the same either. It used to be my go-to dish and the best in town. Now it's totally different, and not in a good way. The highlight: Our server was wonderful -- an older gentleman with a genuine Italian vibe, clearly passionate about his job and the restaurant. He advocated for us with the kitchen, made sure we were taken care of, and even brought my mom a birthday dessert on the house. He saved the experience, and I truly appreciate that. Final thoughts: I'm not sure if something changed in the kitchen staff, suppliers, or overall direction, but the shift is noticeable. For a $250 bill, the experience just didn't match the way it used to. If you stick to the pasta, you'll likely have a great meal. The seafood, though, I personally won't order again. I really, really hope they figure out what's going on, because this place used to be a gem and I'd love to see it get back on track. We love supporting small businesses, and I don't want to see this spot lose what made it special.

It was rainy, and so everybody was indoors, and it was kind of crowded, but that's a testament to the quality of the food. Our bartender, Maddy, was energetic and friendly, and it didn't hurt that she grew up six doors down on our street. My wife, ever the hugger, was thrilled to see her, and you could tell they had a mutual fondness for each other. So if you're into day drinking, and it's a Sunday, this is a great stop. Quality, alcohol, friendly faces, what look like good food, and a clean and pleasant environment made this the place to stop. Rest assured, we will be back

We had a confirmed reservation for eight at 1:00 pm on a Friday following a wedding ceremony. What should have been a joyful post-wedding lunch became frustrating due to the general manager's attitude. Although the reservation was made, we were told they could not ensure the table that would comfortably fit eight adults -- several over 6 feet tall. We were also informed they would not guarantee any table even a few minutes early so we could place simple floral arrangement on it before bride arrived. Our party was fully prepared to order off the regular menu and pay whatever it took for what would likely have been a one-hour lunch. During the conversation, the manager repeatedly emphasized that they are "always busy," which felt dismissive rather than helpful. The overall tone came across as VERY condescending, especially given the occasion. For a restaurant known for hospitality, this was disappointing. The lunch was booked at another restaurant. Sadly, none of us will be back to The Pink House while the current manager is employed there.

The chicken is nicely seasoned on the outside, it doesn't taste like it was marinated, it was a little dry but breast meat sometimes tends to be dry if not cooked perfectly, better than raw though. The chicken sandwich is a little awkward with a round bun and long chicken strip hanging out the ends and parts of only bread and no chicken. The mac n cheese is good, my 11 yr old that doesn't like spicy, ate the whole thing even with spicy seasoning on top. Only problem is that they put it on top of paper so the paper melts into the cheese. The service is exceptional. The lady is really nice. I love this location. It's really cute inside and it's nice to be able to sit at a clean table with chairs. The other location close to the college doesn't have a place to sit and enjoy the food.
