I don't typically review fast food chains because....why? They're typically not anything to write about. However, I frequent this location and the basis for my review is simply to shout out the customer service. I have come for both breakfast and peak lunch hours and the customer service has always been top notch. This place is pretty much run by a bunch of high schoolers and college students and I must say that their attitudes are extremely polite and upbeat. I'm sure this has plenty to do with proper training and hiring. Just wanted to shout ya'll out and give props where due. Keep up the great customer service. It's rare to find it these days. As expensive as going out to eat is anymore, and employees making 12+ an hour. Food should be perfect! Ordered 2 chick fil a sandwich', 1 regular, to which the chicken piece was so thin. Almost like they are trying to turn 1 filet into 2 smaller ones. The other 1 add jalapenos. Ok, I know you have to charge for extras, no biggie. But when I get charged 20cents for 3 tiny jalos, come on now. That's not even enough for a piece in each bite. At least put on 5. I know these are cheap as I use them at home all the time. And the ones here are coming in bulk. Guess next trip I'll save the 20 cents and bring my own from home!!! So I did contact them about the miniscule amount of jalos and the less than healthy piece of chicken. They apologized and gave me a free cookie. I don't eat sweets. But it is what it is. I got a flat in the drive-thru at the Carson City Chick-fil-A and the way everyone handled it was honestly unreal. They shut the drive-thru down and a bunch of the crew came out to help me. Two different employees went and got jacks out of their own cars to find one that would work on my SUV. They kept offering me drinks and told me I could go sit inside in the AC while they worked on it -- I turned them down, but the fact that they kept asking says a lot. First time I have ever had bad service at a chick-fil-a. Ordered grilled nuggets (with fork), waffle fries, and 2 types of sauces using the drive thru. Receipt correctly recorded everything but the order included no fork and no sauces. Not a great meal without any sauces or a fork. Waiting at the register in line and the only one there to order when the cashier finished ringing up the guy in front of me and I walked up to her and she walked away and we're standing there waiting for her to come back when a group of people come in behind us. I'm honestly not sure why this Chic fil A location is rated as low as it is. This location has never given me any trouble. It produces the high quality food that you'd expect from any of location in a timely manner and for the same prices. On occasion, the drive through does get busy but I've never waited in excess. The inside at this location is always clean and I've always had great service inside or in the drive through as I expect from Chic fil A. Solid choice for a chain fast food restaurant. Chick-fil-A is a great option for chicken. It's definitely not a Canes, but a better option for a chicken sandwich than Big Chicken. Quality is usually great, but slips sometimes when they are really busy. Chicken nuggets are not great, but the sandwiches are tasty. With living up to the hype of fast food...the long quick line in the drive thru was definitely fast LITERALLYYY!! Took us about 15 minutes from winding through with plenty of Chick-Fil-A staff greeting us in the parking lot, taking our order and having it hot and ready to-go! We ordered the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich w/ Pepper Jack, Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries and Chick-fil-A Lemonade - the Chicken sandwich was crispy, flavorful and juicy with lettuce, pickle and they give you added dipping sauces that are also on the sandwiches: we went with Chick-fil-A Sauce & Honey Mustard Sauce. Today was the first day of business for Chick-fil-A in Carson City, and it was a five-star experience. One of the things with this store compared to others is that they had double the pickup spots of many other CfAs that I've been to since the pandemic started. CfA is also doing drive thru or curbside only, so there aren't as many chances for exposure. Line moved very quick - I was the third customer through on one lane, and we were out by 6:40 or so. Matt (the owner) was out serving people at the drive thru and it is easy to see how CfA will be a success in Carson City. Pro tip: order online before hand - you can then choose your pickup option (drive thru or curbside) - and you can change depending on how the lines are. Access to this store will be better when the whole plaza (Panera, Dutch Bros, etc) is done - they're going to put in a traffic light at Snyder / Appion. read more

Employees need to pay attention to orders placed!! As a customer it's very upsetting to get ALL THE WAY BACK HOME, just to find half my order is missing. Leave me with no option but to get back into my car and drive all the way back to get the rest of my order! I think I'm being quite generous in giving Chick-fil-A in Carson City a three-star review. The wait time was way longer than expected, as we ordered online. Yes, it was busy, but it wasn't onerous. The two girls working the drive through were really nice and professional. That made me add a star. What really disappointed was the chicken sandwich. While the flavors were okay, the bread coating was almost burnt. It was quite off putting. The chicken was fair, but nothing special. It wasn't moist, just not dry. So when Chick Fil A just opened in Carson, the line were nuts! I thought I'll wait for a while but hey it never ending until these days! I've been here for few occasions. I was craving for some junk food. After from did our grocery near by, placed my order thru their app. My bf came in to pick up the order. Got home and realized one item was missing. Didn't really wanna go back there just for one chicken sandwich and spend some gas. Didn't really want to call the store also. So I just contacted them online and it was right away they gave me a free coupon of my choice. Well I really appreciate it. Ok here now talking about the food. Now after few times ate chicken sandwich from their place, I got it why the place is always busy. Their chicken sandwich had the best and thick chicken. The Buns are a bit too soft tho, it was fell apart. The fries were also very good, real cuts of potatoes. Their sauces were also great of selection. But my favorite of course the original Chick Fil A sauce. And actually you can buy them at your grocery place. The nuggets were also made from the chicken bites. The good thing was their shake! I love their chocolate shake of course. It was so thick, creamy but not yucky sweet. I will for sure coming back once in a while. Considering they've JUST opened this location and had a massive line at the drive through, the speed in which we received our food via the app & curbside pickup was impressive. It's nice to see Chick-fil-a in Carson City as coming here is much more convenient for me than going to Sparks or Reno. Also looking forward to the Dutch Bros location opening up right by it (though I'm NOT looking forward to the cluster it's no doubt going to create). The food is really good, but then I went to take a drink of my lemonade and I ended up almost drinking someone's FINGERNAIL!! I picked it out of my mouth and was absolutely disgusted. It was so sickening I stopped eating and drinking everything together. They need to work better on food safety and how to handle food properly. Will not be going back any time soon. read more

Ive come to this location 2 times now and won't be back. The first time, order was wrong and items missing. I tried again this evening and I couldn't have been more disappointed! The drive thru line had roughly 10 cars and it took over 55 minutes to get my food and leave. What was more frustrating was pulling up to the window to see 10+ employees inside; half were on their phones while the other half ran around with no idea what to do. I sat at the window alone for 5+ minutes watching this madness all unfold. Then while the employees have the drive thru window open, they are all openly talking about how much they don't want to be there. (I get it, a lot of them were high school/ college age and it's not an important job to them but don't allow your customers to hear you!) Not sure where management was... but wow! I understand that this store just opened and that there are a massive amount of customers they need to get through. That said - I felt the service and some of the food was subpar to other Chick-Fil-A experiences I've had. Now mind you I am not taking off any points for the twenty minutes it took before I got my order taken. I understand those are circumstances beyond their control. However - when they did come to take my order they were clearly rushing me. The gentlemen kept asking me if "that was all "after each item. He didn't ask which sauces I wanted. I told him anyway. Ok. I get he was stressed and in all fairness was not otherwise rude. - but still. I did get my food within 5 minutes of ordering it - kudos for that. The parking lot could have been chaotic - but the workers did a great job getting people in and out easily. The system worked. The food: I ordered two Spicy Chx sandwiches, waffle fries and an unsweetened tea. The sandwiches were a little over cooked and over seasoned compared to others I've had. I'd give them a B- . The fries were bad. Undercooked with no crispy exterior and waaaaaay over salted. I couldn't finish them and I always finish my fries. I give them a D. The tea gets an A+ - though I wish corporate would switch off of styrofoam. The 80s are long over. The only reason I'm giving this review is to make management aware of the opening week kinks so they can work them out and continue to be successful. Silent disapproval does no one any good. My wife and I ordered an eight piece nugget we received three chicken tenders instead we ordered a large fry and a regular fry the two fries combined still do not equal the size of a large fry so we whipped around five minutes later went back to the restaurant through the drive-through the manager told us that our fries only can sit for two minutes before they decompress sorry. There is a reason after one year of this business being opened in Carson City the drive-through line is a quarter of what it used to be. read more

Finally, after months of being open, I decided to try Chick-fil-a. Our family tries to stay away from fried food and fast food when possible. Pulled into the drive up. One car in front of me. They have workers there taking your order vs yelling into a speaker. I had an awesome employee, Bailey. I told him it was my first time and I wanted to stay away from getting fried chicken for the family. He showed me the grilled area on the menu board. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and grilled chicken wrap. I had to break down and order 2 fries and get their fry sauce. He also suggested the polynesian sauce when I asked which was his favorite. I was also looking at shakes and Bailey suggested their Peach which has grown in popularity according to him. I got that. I also saw mac and cheese as an upgrade if you got the combo but didn't want fries. I asked if I can purchase just the mac and cheese. He said yes. I told him to add it. The total price was $27. They take your payment right there so you don't go to another window. I pulled up and waited about 5 minutes to get my food. I should have checked my bag but I didn't. I was trying to get the food home before it got cold since I live about 20 minutes away in Gardnerville. I for home and my daughter was excited to dig in. The grilled chicken was excellent. Very fresh. The grilled chicken wrap was also delicious with the dressing I picked out. The peach shake was amazing with little pieces of peaches in the mix. The mac and cheese is one of the best fast food mac and cheese I've tasted (it was just like I like it but maybe not your type), the fries we were excited to try but what? Took out 1 fry bag, where's the other? Looked into both bags. What! They forgot my other fries! Why didn't I check before I left? I immediately called to let them know. I got a sweet girl that apologized over and over. She took my name and phone number and told me it would be in their system to come by within the next 2 weeks to get it. I told her I live in Gardnerville and it would cost $6 round trip to come get it. She again apologized profusely. I hope that within the next 2 weeks I'll be there to pick it up. This review would have been lower because of it but the food was so darn good that I had to give it a 4 star. I've been in Carson City for more than 25 years. I have always said if a Chik-Fil-A opened up, I would never have to leave here. Well, that day has come. Hurray! My first visit comes during Covid and Snowmageddon and as usual, the service was top notch. I have to say the the thing that sets Chik-Fil-A apart from other fast food establishments is really their friendly, efficient service. And yes, the chicken sandwiches, too. Curbside took 10 minutes and it was legitimately snowing a great deal and was at 6:00 on a weeknight. I couldn't have asked for faster service. Horrible customer service from evening shift supervisor "Sarah" and staff at this location. She doesn't adhere to the normally high standards of ChickFilA service. Refused to make a simple substitution of an item. Refused to let me place an order in line and told me to pull off to the side and wait even though I had the app and the scan code ready to pay. So we left completely annoyed with how she treated us. The Reno ChickFila never ever disappoints on their quality or customer service. We went to to the restaurant for lunch. I had a coupon for a chicken sandwich or chicken nuggets. I explained I need a gluten free option. I was told I couldn't use the coupon on a gluten free option. A coupon from Chick Fil A is worthless to me. I pay extra for a gluten free bun with a grilled chicken. All I wanted was grilled chicken instead of fried. I'm very disappointed they can not honor a coupon for grilled chicken instead of breaded and fried.
