This can be ordered inside, drive through or curbside! I've tried all vendor's and this is the BEST! Smooth texture with bits of Peppermint and chocolate inside.

Well call me a lemming cause this gal followed the masses by jumping right in to the drive thru line to try the NEWEST addition to Carson City - Chick-Fil-A!! With living up to the hype of fast food...the long quick line in the drive thru was definitely fast LITERALLYYY!! Took us about 15 minutes from winding through with plenty of Chick-Fil-A staff greeting us in the parking lot, taking our order and having it hot and ready to-go! We ordered the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich w/ Pepper Jack, Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries and Chick-fil-A Lemonade - the Chicken sandwich was crispy, flavorful and juicy with lettuce, pickle and they give you added dipping sauces that are also on the sandwiches: we went with Chick-fil-A Sauce & Honey Mustard Sauce. Quick, friendly service and tasty ~ give'em a try!

    Ask the Community - Chick-fil-A

What time does this location open? Some sites are saying 6:30am and some say 8am. 8am would make it impossible for morning commuters to get breakfast, so that seems unlikely, but I'd like to double check.

    As of 5/10/21 it's 8:00am. Breakfast 8:00am-10:30am

When I heard all the rave reviews of Bali Express in Carson, we had to try it. What started as a Food Truck, Bali Express has found a permanent home in a space shared with Fuego Street Tacos. An interesting set up but it works. There is a nice amount of seating and the two vendors seem to make it work. Nice. We ordered one of my wife's favorite dishes, Beef Rendang. Tender beef simmered for hours (and hours) in a thick, soy sauce based sauce. Done properly, it has rich flavors and in this case, just a touch of Sambal (Chili sauce). The flavors were authentic but the meat was not as tender as I would have hoped. It wasn't bad but a hallmark of Rendang perfection is the tenderness of the meat. While it was fine for me, unfortunately the heat was a bit too much for my wife, who ultimately could not eat the dish because it was too spicy. Indonesian cuisine is inherently spicy (when cooked properly), so buyer be ware. We also ordered Gado Gado. A very traditional Vegetable Salad kind of dish. Gado Gado is one of those dishes that can vary from the availability of vegetables, to regional differences to differences in recipes handed down from generation to generation. As such, while this was not the same as my "mom would make", it was pretty darn close. Based on shredded cabbage, there was a plentiful amount of tofu, potatoes (nice touch), seasoned hard boiled egg and other treats. The dish is topped with a peanut sauce. I would definitely order again but wished the sauce had a richer, more peanuty taste. This is a 100% a personal preference thing and not a criticism of the dish. The Gado Gado is great. We also tried the Shrimp Tempura. While not Indonesian, the Shrimp Tempura was well executed. Lightly breaded, the shrimp was fried to have a nice crispy snap to the coating but not at all greasy. The flavor was rich and light and served with a sweet sauce. Today, my parents have both passed so my opportunities for authentice Indonesian is pretty limited. Bali Express is the real deal. Authentic Indonesian Cuisine. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Selamat Makan

So, my local friend wanted to take me to this Thai restaurant right down on the main street in downtown, if Carson has an actual downtown that is. We got parking right in front of the place on the main street. Inside is nice and elegant in a Thai kinda way. Nicer than a casual mom and pop Thai joint. We get seated at a nice table near the front. My friend already knows the menu, so I go with hos suggestion for the Lunch special Duck with sauce over rice. It's $22 bucks, so it better be good! He has the Thai battered salmon for around $19. Soup is included and it's just a veggie broth, though tasty. Then our lunch specials come out. Oh wow, that duck look really good. It's totally deboned, so no messing with bones at all. The sauce was super tasty. My friend said he thinks its some sort of duck juice reduction with other added stuff. Whatever, this was one of the most tasty duck dishes I've ever had. His salmon was unique, I never saw a dish like that made with salmon. The coating was very unique and crispy and the salmon not over cooked. Overall, I really liked this place. I think my crew is having lunch at one of the local casinos, I'd rather be here!

They also have an incredible beer selection with well over 100 beers on the menu, so there's something for everyone. A word of advice make reservations if you can. The wait was nearly an hour and it's easy to see why. We started with the fry bread and the jalapeño bombs. The fry bread was delicious, but those jalapeño bombs were an absolute 10/10 and a must-order. We originally came for the prime rib, but unfortunately they had already sold out around 6 p.m., which was definitely disappointing. Thankfully, the food that did make it to our table erased that disappointment pretty quickly. We ordered the two-meat BBQ plate with ribs and brisket, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, smoky, and paired perfectly with their delicious BBQ sauce. We also tried the spicy pot pie, which was unlike any pot pie I've had before, in a good way. It reminded me of an enchilada baked inside a buttery, flaky crust, and it was fantastic. The service was equally impressive. I feel terrible that I can't remember our server's name because he absolutely deserves the recognition. He was friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience even better. Between the amazing food, outstanding service, and unique atmosphere, this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. In fact, it's probably the biggest reason I'd make the drive back to Carson City.

Food Unfortunately,…read morethe food was very disappointing. The ribs tasted stale and almost jerky-like, as if they had been sitting out too long or reheated multiple times. The basket of wings was cold in the middle and tasted as though they had simply been microwaved. They also tasted old and lacked freshness. The Jump Up and Kiss Me Chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. The flavor was just okay, but there was nothing particularly special about the dish. Service The service was very poor. Our waitress repeatedly rolled her eyes and barely checked on us to see if everything was okay. I had to repeatedly get up myself to ask for condiments, refreshments, and napkins. Management I was also disappointed with how the manager handled my concerns. After I explained our experience, her response was essentially, "Okay, I'll pass along your comments." She did not seem concerned or interested in making the situation better. Unfortunately, I understood why the service was so poor after speaking with the manager. A manager should set the standard for customer service, and in this case, I did not feel that there was much care or concern for the customers. I used to love going to Reds when they had the previous manager. He was always kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customers. The food was also delicious and tasted fresh. It's disappointing to see how much the experience has changed. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because Reds used to be a place I genuinely enjoyed visiting.
