Dozen Original Glazed Dozen
Chrissy N.

Kristy Kreme isn't the same as how I remember it from 20 years ago in terms of the atmosphere when we go inside the store. We used to watch them flip fresh donuts even late in the evening - I haven't seen them do that the last few times we've been here. Regardless, their original glaze is still fresh, light and amazing tasting as I remember. We came at 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon to pick up a dozen original glaze , to our surprise, we got a fresh batch - not hot, but still fresh. The workers here are kind and know to get the work done. I'm glad we still have this childhood donut establishment to obey my craving whenever I have one for a KK original glaze.

I wish I could improve the stars on my previous review, but service is still sub-par. Why aren't these employees even mildly engaging or pleasant? It's not like they clearly hate their jobs, but I feel like they are bored or annoyed. The donuts haven't changed. As a national chain they have processes in place that ensure this (hopefully!). So if I really want a mini donut I'll probably hit the drive-thru, but seriously, I wish management would see this and do something.

Festive holiday donuts!!! They did a wonderful job decorating. How am I supposed to eat these, too cute!

No one can ever make me hate Krispy Kreme. The best, hot donuts ever. Every time I've come to this location I have had good customer service and the inside is clean.

Received 3 free donuts for my birthday (sign-up for their rewards program to receive coupon). Tasted like the standard Krispy Kreme donut, so I would say this is a good location. Employees were kind.

I visited the store today for the very first time and I love how they blend a lot of Austin/local elements into their store design. The best part of visiting a physical Krispy Kreme store is you get to see the making process. I always love standing behind the glass and watch those doughnuts being fried and flipped. Such a fun experience:) Since it's the National Doughnut Day today, they're offering free doughnuts for everyone (any flavor of your choice)! I got the original glazed, which is my all-time-favorite. For some reasons the doughnuts I saw in store today seems much smaller than all others that I used to see. Not sure if it's the shrink-flatiron, but I hope it's just a one-day thing.

My so called donuts. Kinda small huh?

So I wanted to make sure that I am clear that the staff is lovely, the donuts are yummy, I mean it's Krispy Kreme right? So why would this scorned eater give Krispy Kreme donuts a 2? Easy. The level of inconsistency in the shape and size of donuts has ripped me off 3 times now. I paid $13.49 (something like that) for a dozen donuts. Look how small they are. I have to conclude that either A) the staff does not know how to consistently make same sized donuts or B) some staff members give me the mini donuts instead of the real sized donuts. These donuts which were fresh were harder, and not as squishy as you'd like. I'd love feedback of anyone else experiences this inconsistency. Either way, would anyone else be slightly ticked that these donuts caused that much? I think for a chain the training should be perfected by now to make appropriate sized donuts. Or not mistake them for mini donuts.

Came to this Location for a promotion that was posted on the official Krispy Kreme instagram account. I go through the drive though *as it states in promo* and the woman over the speaker rudely responds "yeah but you're gonna need to come inside for that" okay, no problem ma'am. I pull around and go inside and ask again, the cashier asks me to show her the promotion so I did. She said "okay so let me see your ID." I did not have the physical copy on me and only a photo. But I tried explaining that the promotion was geared towards a joke and are not actually needing to see ID. The manager comes over and is immediately rude and I realized at that point it was the same lady from the drive thru speaker. I start trying to show her the post and she says in a very unprofessional tone "I don't care what social media says, I listen to my emails and they say you need ID". And turned around and walked off. Bought the donuts because I was excited for them but will NEVER be back. Manager seems burnt out and needs a different profession. This was on Wednesday May 7th 2025 at around 7:50-8:00PM if any one cares to use this as a training opportunity. I've included the photo of promo with highlighted key words that were ignored by staff.

Good, fresh. 1st time.order wrong. Check out girl attitude issues rolled her eyes at me after asking a question. Better luck next time

1st time trying Kk. Ordered online to avoid hassle. Still got my order wrong. Check out girly has major attitude problems. Rolled her eyes after a simple question. The rest of the donuts were fresh and delicious. Better luck next time !

Extremely dirty drive through window.
Steve A.

Donuts were cold and didn't taste that fresh. The apple pie donut was too sweet and did not taste good. The drive through window was filthy- covered in some white substance that was extremely off putting. The cashier was friendly.

What is this? CVS?

Typical Krispy Kreme quality. Never had to use a drive thru however. I did like that there were combos offered. The sausage jalapeno didn't make the mark compared to local favorite Lone Star Kolaches. A glazed donut and a Dr. Pepper rounded out my order. GF's order was a maple flavor, glazed, and a coffee with 4 sugars and three creams. She guessed and somehow the outcome was pleasant on the morning joe. Receipt is too akin to all the CVS 4 foot long jokes. Appreciated a trash can outside for quick disposal Reason for one star, I was attempting to converse with the drive thru dude. He handed us all our food while taking payment only saying "blah, blah, blah". Saturday morning, June 6, 2020 7:30am. Not a pleasant experience to be treated in such a manner.

Gordough's is one of those places that fully commits to indulgence. I was able to place my order online and schedule for pick up. The order was ready when I arrived. Parking was a bit challenging and the lot was full and they charge for parking. Service was quick, casual, just good energy and fast turnaround. I ordered my tried and true Miss Shortcake with their famous cake donut with cream cheese icing and fresh cut strawberries. The donut is so indulgent and was served warm with the most delectable flavor combinations. Tried the Son of a Peach with cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter. This one was a bit too overindulgent and sweet for my liking but was definitely worth a try. Portions are huge and can be shared as the donut is not as good warmed over. If you're in the mood for dessert and not think about calorie count, then this is the place.

White Cream is a necessity. Unavailable. Ugh…read more I went way early in the morning. All the donuts were fresh and moist. The Glazed Yeast (The Prime Donut)......... if a donut maker can't do glazed, you might as well forget about the rest. Fantastic. Perfect. The glaze that flakes though moist and a donut that slightly squishes, pops slightly back and has that perfect texture....... And yes Flavor! Perfect Glazed. Well done. A good size and not a weak donut. I did a fancy chocolate cake donut of the Butterfinger kind. A fantastic blend of a good chocolate cake and the touch of peanut from the crisp. A good combo of about 50/50 share of flavor. Focusing on the cake donut resulted in a favorable chocolate cake donut. Freshness is key. Lastly was a buttermilk bar. Good, just good. I know where to get great. You'll have to read my other donut posts to find out where. Just good. Glaze could improve and the complete cool through would be helpful. The dough was alright, not bad. I was craving Ube and might have gone a bit overboard on ordering dessert because they had so many Ube options. The building is colorful and decorated in bright pink with fun artwork and decor for an uplifting vibe. The line moved quickly and the service was friendly fast and efficient. I was able to place my order and pay with Apple Pay. I ordered the Taiyaki Sundae with black sesame and ube swirl soft serve served in a fish shaped mochi Belgian style waffle with Oreo dust on top. You can customize your sundae with filling like organic red sweet beans, Nutella or custard and toppings like Oreo dust, fruity pebbles or rainbow sprinkles. I ate this on site and the nutty black sesame balanced the sweet ube perfectly, and the Oreo topping added the best crunch. They had a variety of mochi donut flavors. Lucky for me, nothing was sold out today. I ordered the Oreo ube mochi donut and ube milk tea to-go. I ate the mochi donut later that day and it was probably my least favorite item from my order. It had the chewy mochi texture however I didn't get enough of the rich ube flavor. It had somewhat of a bitter aftertaste and the Oreo overpowered the ube. I drank the ube milk tea the next day and it was creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the beverage and would order it again. Overall, enjoyed my selections and will be back to try more dessert options and flavors from one of the most unique Asian dessert spots in Austin!

We were on Rainey street for SXSW and I had seen several people with the pink bag with a dog stamped on the front and wanted to see what all the hype was about. Everything was made fresh to order, so there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it when you get them hot. I tried the Italian cream cake donuts. They have specialty flavors that were $1 more and all of them were appealing to me. Unfortunately, you can not order a sampler pack of different flavors and have to just pick one flavor which is why I am giving 4 stars. My recommendation would be to offer a sampler pack as to not have to commit to one flavor. The pink dog stamped package came with multiple tiny donuts inside. They were freshly made, soft, and served warm. My friend ordered the regular donuts and I have to say that I didn't notice the Italian cream cake flavor as much as I would have liked compared to the original. There was a good balance of sweetness and a creamy, slightly rich profile without feeling overly heavy. The mini size is perfect because you can try a few without feeling like you've gone overboard and it is great for sharing. Overall, Little Lucy's is a solid dessert stop when you want something warm, fresh and satisfying. I would not recommend paying extra for the specialty flavors like Italian cream cake donuts and will just go with the original donuts in the future.
