A pretty nice selection and 10% off for checking in here... can't beat that with a sledge hammer! I really had no idea this location was here. If my wife hadn't said it I would have gone to another spot as always, but our boys wanted doughnuts and we haven't been happy with the place near by... so my wife recommended I go here. It is a good spot, it has a drive through, the people were nice inside... and they have a nice selection. The raspberry filled, Cherry filled, blueberry filled or custard filled are all pretty good! I bought two dozen doughnuts thinking I would have some for my boys the next day... NOT!! The left overs turned pretty stale even buy the night of the same day. Usually when they get like this you can microwave them and they get better... NOT! They got yucky... just not good. I'm not sure what happened but in the end we tossed about a dozen worth that didn't stay good for 12 hrs.... They were pretty tasty when I got them but went downhill pretty quickly! I guess I'm going to end up going back to our normal spot.

Ok I have to admit I was not that excited about going into Shipley Donuts store, but we were out and about and wanted some coffee. Well I was surprised how good their donuts were. ****The donuts were soft, not too sweet and the icing stayed on as I ate my donut. ***The coffee was average but was served way over temperature causing it to almost have a burned taste. **The bathroom was dirty.

We stopped here since this location is closer to the house. What a way to start the morning that with a nice soft donut. But, that was not what we got. They were soft, but not as soft as the Mays St location in Round Rock. There wasn't a big selection either so that was disappointing. Got him and I tasted the chocolate frosted which is my favorite, the donuts seem smaller then the other location and the donut it self was not that wow factor I was looking for like before. I will eat them again if they are in the area and I really want a donut.

I would recommend if you haven't tried yet. In case you prefer less sweet, just let the staff know, to put less toppings. Donut itself tasted very good, soft, and they actually make dough themselves. Not sure if it's from mix or what, but definitely fresh.

The workers were all pleasant and it was a positive pick up experience! One donut was incorrect but otherwise it was great. PRICING - The total was $14.35 after tax ($0.85) but before tip for a "Build Your Own" half dozen ($13.50). I think the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of donuts! CINNAMON PUMPKIN SPICE (7/10) - The pumpkin flavor is only in the buttercream but it has the perfect level of "spice". We ordered a glazed pumpkin spice but were given this one instead. Still, I'd order this one again. BACON IN THE SUN (9/10) - This was a fantastic maple bacon donut... the chopped bacon is real bacon and the salted caramel drizzle adds the perfect amount of saltiness paired with the bacon. I'd order this one again. PEANUT BUTTER PARADISE (7/10) - The peanut butter icing and chocolate drizzle get very thin since it's served warm but it's delicious and has a strong peanut butter flavor. I'd order this one again. CHOCOLATE EXPLOSION (7/10) - This one is for the chocolate lovers... you get chocolate icing with Oreo cookie pieces and a hot fudge drizzle. I'd oder this again. THE BOARDWALK (8/10) - This is basically a cookies and cream donut but better because it also has powdered sugar. I'd order this again! CINNAMON BUN (7/10) - This one is basic but good... it's basically just coated in cinnamon sugar with a vanilla drizzle. I'd probably skip this one next time. This was my first time trying Duck Donuts but I will definitely be back and recommend it to others. I love how dense the actual donuts are and there are so many flavor options to choose from. Plus, you can build your own by choosing a coating, topping, and drizzle.

The audacity Story time, Today I went to the original Round Rock location, downtown Round Rock, to buy my son's birthday donuts, It's tradition. Every year on his birthday he gets a dozen half glazed and half chocolate frosted donuts. Then I get a kolache and a dozen donut holes for myself. Well when I pulled up today the line was wrapped around all the way to Mays street. So I just followed the line of cars and got in line. You'd think that a line that long would take a long time but.... Round Rock donuts has this process down to a T. It took less than 10 minutes to get through that line and get my order. And those donuts came out hot and fresh. So did my kolache. Anywho, Don't let the lines scare you away, Just jump in and know they're going to move quickly. Also, If you're planning an office event or any type of event and you want donuts and coffee or kolaches donuts and coffee, Round Rock donuts offers a great menu for large orders and also they have a cake menu for custom cake orders. If you don't want to stay in line in your car you can also park wherever you can find a spot and go to the walk-up ordering window, It's shaded and there's plenty of space to hang out while your order is being made and brought out to you. All this to say, It's a Round Rock Donut, Happy Birthday to my Son!

For years, I'd heard so much good about them; it was about time to sample their goods. Since it was a weekday and a bit later in the morning hours, the line wasn't too bad. Watching the vehicles flying through the drive-thru, I could see that these folks have it down to a science. Order after order is being handed to their customers with military precision. We got a cinnamon roll and a fritter for the road, plus 6 donuts to take back home with us. The fritter was OK, I've had better. My wife's cinnamon roll was too huge to manage. It was definitely Texas-sized. The six donuts we took home were two blueberry cake donuts, two regular raised donuts, and two filled. The filled donuts were our favorites, along with the cake and the traditional raised. We can now say we've been to the legendary Round Rock Donuts.

I found this restaurant front while visiting another in this food court…read more It took me a min to realize that mochinut is their attempt at combining mochi and doughnuts (a kind of east west food mashup/fusion). Let me say that I love, Love doughnuts and can safely say I dislike mochi. I'm always willing to try something new and the idea of this food mashup sounded interesting to me. And so I ordered the 3 piece mochinut box to get the full experience ( original glaze, churro, and milk tea). One of the things I don't like about mochi is the gummy chewy texture and so I had to clear my mind of those thoughts before taking my first bite...to be fair to the experience. I'm happy to say, mochinuts don't have that sort of texture or mouth feel however they were not cake like or even pillowy like some doughnuts can be. The flavors were good, the right amount of sugariness and familiarity in what they described. That said, I'd never consider having this for breakfast (with my coffee)...it's just too different from a cake style doughnut or any sort of doughnut like an apple fritter or bear claw or a muffin/scone. For me, it's more like a dessert and maybe better paired with ice cream versus coffee. Lastly, the service was fast as you would expect from a walk up situation. I may be back when I return to the area.

Since it's technically in Hana World there's good parking outside making it pretty accessible with lots of available seating inside. We decided to order the Oreo, milk tea, and mango mochinuts although they have many more flavors and items to choose from such as corndogs. We sat down and ate our mochinuts which are soft and chewy with a great texture and they taste just as advertised. They're a great sugary treat to offset some carb heavy noodles from the nearby stall. They're even better warmed up a little bit with a glass of milk at home if you're willing to wait a little bit. Sad to see that they'll be going but hopefully they can keep a spot in the neighborhood.
