A pretty nice selection and 10% off for checking in here... can't beat that with a sledge hammer! I really had no idea this location was here. If my wife hadn't said it I would have gone to another spot as always, but our boys wanted doughnuts and we haven't been happy with the place near by... so my wife recommended I go here. It is a good spot, it has a drive through, the people were nice inside... and they have a nice selection. The raspberry filled, Cherry filled, blueberry filled or custard filled are all pretty good! I bought two dozen doughnuts thinking I would have some for my boys the next day... NOT!! The left overs turned pretty stale even buy the night of the same day. Usually when they get like this you can microwave them and they get better... NOT! They got yucky... just not good. I'm not sure what happened but in the end we tossed about a dozen worth that didn't stay good for 12 hrs.... They were pretty tasty when I got them but went downhill pretty quickly! I guess I'm going to end up going back to our normal spot.

Ok I have to admit I was not that excited about going into Shipley Donuts store, but we were out and about and wanted some coffee. Well I was surprised how good their donuts were. ****The donuts were soft, not too sweet and the icing stayed on as I ate my donut. ***The coffee was average but was served way over temperature causing it to almost have a burned taste. **The bathroom was dirty.

We stopped here since this location is closer to the house. What a way to start the morning that with a nice soft donut. But, that was not what we got. They were soft, but not as soft as the Mays St location in Round Rock. There wasn't a big selection either so that was disappointing. Got him and I tasted the chocolate frosted which is my favorite, the donuts seem smaller then the other location and the donut it self was not that wow factor I was looking for like before. I will eat them again if they are in the area and I really want a donut.

This IS the Shipleys you want to be at I've never had anything go wrong in the past 4 years that I've been coming here. The donuts and kolaches here are fresh and tasty. The staff was also really friendly even early in the morning. read more

This place has always made me a happy customer. I have never left without a smile and have never been treated badly. It has a real small town donut shop feel and, oh yea, the food is too good. I don't eat as many donuts as I used to, but I am happy to sit and munch on 1 cake donut and some delicious coffe just to have a reason to stop by and see these great people. read more

DO NOT ACCEPT THE PREPACKAGED DONUTS without checking. I asked for a dozen chocolate glazed, and they gave me a dozen cake! I know I should've checked, but they were taped closed, and I thought "great idea", saves time pre-packing the most popular ones. NOPE! Just a PSA. You get 2 stars because the bunch of kids ate the other 3 instead of the cake doughnuts! read more

The donuts get a (5). I have been a fan of Shipley since the 70s. Of course back then you had to be in the greater Houston area to get Shipley. They finally have made it to Central Texas! However on last Sunday's visit to the Pflugerville location the place was really dirty. Straws, napkins and various other trash was strewn about the lobby floor. The tables needed wiping. Also, the tile they selected catches a lot of dirt and needs a good scrubbing or better yet, replacement. Not reflected in my rating is the clientele. What is the deal with going in public in your night clothes and not combing your hair? Please, I know it is Sunday morning and you are picking up breakfast for the family, but show a little dignity by putting on clothes in the morning, even if they were yesterday's. read more

I have never been inside this location as I always use the drive thru. I choose this place over other donut places in Pflugerville because it's closer and has a drive thru (yes I am lazy) We have visited at different hours between 6am-11am. The donuts always taste great and our 3 year old loves the donut holes. I will admit if you visit in the 6-7am time frame they are super warm and soft. Why one less star than 5 stars- I've tried ordering barvarian creme filled donuts a few times but for some reason they always give me pastry cream filled donuts- you might not think there's a difference but there is and they have both on their menu. read more

Eh, Pretty good, I mean it's not horrible but it's not perfect either. I mean I go here once in a while but not too often. Not a big fan of their sausage and cheese kolaches but their donuts are amazing. read more

By far the best donuts in Pflugerville. Top that with a great bunch of people working here and I'm sold. I love walking in to a business where people are happy and friendly. If you ask for a hot glazed donut they will give you a super fresh super tasty melt in your mouth slice of heaven. On Valentines Day they even had the greatest heart shaped donuts. If you are not a donut lover this place isn't for you. But, if you are go there and enjoy yourself. read more

Good donuts and great service. Disappointed in their pig-in-a-blanket. First discontinued my favorite country sausage, egg, cheese, jalapeño. Big Earl was decent replacement to begin with, then sausage changed to cheaper variety, and now replaced again with a wiener. Yuck! read more

This place is awful!!!! I went this morning around 10:45 am. I went thru drive thru and asked for 4 kolaches with cheese. The lazy girl said well we don't have any kolaches with cheese. I asked, are you going to make some more? Mind you, it's 10:45 am!! She said yeah but it will be 25 minutes. I said that's fine I'll wait for them. At this point, she says, well we don't have any more with cheese. So I could totally tell she did not want to work or even do any more work than she had to. I got frustrated and drove off and I could tell she was only all too happy to see me drive off, as it seemed I was just a nuisance to her. This isn't the first time this has happened at this location. It seems like if you go for kolaches with cheese before or close to 11:00 am, this place will not make you anymore. I will never go back to this place again. The employees seem lazy as hell and are only there to sell you what ever they have left in their inventory. So frustrating to see this kind of laziness and apathy at this place. Hopefully, management knows what's going on at this particular store. Outside looking in, they seem clueless. read more

They're still open for another two hours and almost all their donuts are gone. I ordered a long john which usually has whip cream in it, but this one had vanilla pudding. Then got a cinnamon twist but it was hard and stale. Very disappointed! I'll stick to other Shipley's locations from now on. read more

It's really no different than a whole muffin but it's easier to eat especially on the go because of the compact, flattened cookie shape. Lots of banana to get excited about, the taste is super strong. It's also accompanied by almonds and walnuts. I'm also positive this is Seattle's Favorite (brand) because they also sell muffin tops and have the same nutrition. If that's the case, not sure why they chose to rebrand the muffin top but not the cookie.

Also, the parking lot isn't that big, so it was causing a bit of a traffic jam. But no need to worry, other parking lots are connected to this one, so it's not really a problem. As someone who doesn't proclaim to like cheesecake, their Biscoff cheesecake is the exception. Maybe it's a blessing that one isn't close by and I can only indulge every now and then.
