Recently hosted a party with catering from KP's. Everything was wonderful! KP was very helpful with putting the order together and all the dishes were great. One big surprise was how much we loved the vegan meatballs. We ordered them specifically for a vegan guest, without having tasted them, and all the guests loved them! read more

Super cute, great atmosphere, free WiFi. Food highlights were the artichoke dip, fries, ranch, and hot chicken sandwich. There was a $20 cheese plate I need to come back and try! I like that they had a vegetarian option other than salad but the veggie panini was kind of underwhelming. The management and overall customer service were the sweetest. That being said, I definitely recommend and will be back soon. read more

Been here so many times and it's ALWAYS delicious. You are missing out on so much if you have never been here. Place is always clean, people are nice, food is out of this world (perfectly cooked, flavor for days, and made with love!), and you always feel welcome. Stop passing KP's by, and come inside for some great food! read more

I heard a lot of good things about this place but OMG it is EXCELLENT! I just got the most delicious and juicy roasted chicken with spinach. The appetizer had a great flavor(sorry but forgot the name), the ribs fall off the bone very tender. And I can't forget about the dessert. Best cheesecake ever!! You must try it. read more

This new place just opened 3 days ago. The chef hails from Benjys. They don't have a full liquor license yet but can do beer and wine only or byob with a $5 corkage fee. It's in a strip mall in town & country. Ambiance is nice. Cafeteria style order then sit and they bring your food. Makes it fast and efficient but not a typical fully waited tables experience. We are foodies and very critical but I gave it 5 stars as the food was great. I had a half roasted chicken which was perfectly cooked, moist inside with delicious herb crusty skin. I also had the roasted Brussels sprouts with a soy glaze which was amazing even if you don't like sprouts. The wife had the snapper with almonds and loved it. Desert was limited to two choices with the soft open but she likes her cookie. Price was reasonable but not cheap. Go and try read more

Second time here .. both excellent . Cheeseburger is decadent ! Such friendly service .. even brought my puppy water without asking !

My family is just finishing up our meal now. What a treasure KP's is! We have needed a local place like this. There's been a lot of buzz and our first visit here lived up to the hype. We'll be back again soon. read more

Great food. Great wine. Hardworking staff. Definitely give KP's Kitchen a try. It is well worth it.

The attention to detail and the smiling staff always make our experience perfect. The owner KP, treats everyone walking in as they were walking into his personal home with the individual attention He gives to all of his guests. On our last experience today, my wife and I were having lunch and KP overheard us talking about our excitement of our new home. Moments later he gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate the moment. Thank you so much for always making it special. read more

My daughter brought me here for a birthday lunch and I loved it! The hot chicken sandwich on brioche was delicious and we finished the celebration with key lime pie. This is a new place you should try! read more

Went there on a Sunday after reading the reviews. At 2:00 when most other restaurants have a waiting line on a Sunday, this one did not. There were only a few diners there. We were seated immediately but waited 15 minutes to see a waiter. The selection was limited. The food was not bad but no real good either. Our waiter only checked on us once during the meal. Waited another 15 minutes for a check then had to flag him down to get it. Average to slightly below average food with bad service equals the poor review. Will not be back. read more

Love it! Great food and great service. Nice low key atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Decided to have a last minute birthday dinner here, wow what an amazing experience! I've seen some comments here about the price not matching up to the portion size? Honestly, I felt like the portions were huge. 3 of us ended up needing to take our meals to-go even. They also were so accommodating with letting us bring in our own cake (which was a big deal to a family member's medical condition) and even sliced it up and served it (which most restaurants will not do unless charging an extra fee). The food was DELICIOUS. One of my kids is a bit of a picky eater and she said it was one of the best meals she's had. The service was some of the best I've had in Houston- they were friendly, helpful and so warm. We had multiple people coming to attend our table to make sure we had filled waters, plates not crowding the table and the food was very quick for a sit down restaurant. Despite us making a reservation a few hours before, the staff even gave my dad a birthday card! This is a great family friendly restaurant. read more

Enjoyed dinner and wine last night with my girlfriends at KP's Kitchen. We ordered the artisanal cheese plate which had a generous amount of delicious cheese and accompaniments. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich which was tender and juicy. It is perfectly seasoned and not too spicy for those who are sensitive to spice. The house chips were so good too! Atmosphere is comfy and staff was very attentive. We'll be back soon! read more

Really upbeat ambiance and healthy food choices with a nice outdoor area which would love to try next time! Staff was very helpful and polite. read more

Several things on the menu tempted on this first visit. If you're like me, you will stat planning your next trip right away, I'm saving the hot chicken for next time, my wife saving one of the salad dishes although it's possible we'll get the same things we got the first time, burger (flavorful and juicy) and club sandwich (packed with meats and cheese). Great addition to the neighborhood. read more

The food is phenomenal and the service is great! It is very clean. I will definitely be coming back. We ate the food before taking pics...it was that good!! 15/10 recommend read more

We love this place. It is very aptly named. This is KP's Kitchen and you are welcomed guests in his dining room. Aside from the really great food, KP makes his way from table to table to ensure you are having a great dining experience. It seems like his delight to have you there. He also has a great wait staff. And, while the selections as noted by some are limited, everything is outstanding and pretty much something for everyone. Brussel sprouts are to die for! The special carrot / ginger soup we had last night was out of this world and I am not even that big a fan of carrots. Great flavors all around. And, I really love the music sound track - great 80s and 90s hits. Keep up the great work KP! We are glad you are in the neighborhood. read more

Great addition to the neighborhood. Consistency is key and KP's has it nailed down. Could easily eat here every night of the week.

My husband likes to surprise me by picking out different places around town and today's pick was AMAZING!! The vibe was a "cute/patio brunchy." The jams were playing. Dan was the MAN! We shared the crab cake salad and the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were 10/10! I'd go back anytime. :) read more

We had an early dinner there last week, service was great. It was our second time there. Grayson was very helpful with any questions that we had. The spinach and artichoke dip with house chips was fantastic. Great wine selection. Tomato Basil was the soup of the day, very flavorful. The Not your Daddy's Country Club Sandwich was shareable and delicious. Then the Warm Butter Cake to finish. There are daily specials, and every Wednesday they donate 10% to your charity of choice. Thursdays are steak night, will have to try that soon! read more

Food was good but not great and prices seem quite high for what you get. Breakfast plate was missing one ingredient. Service was very good.

Been wanting to try this place for some time. Cute inside, nice service and attention. Menu is a little wonky and all over the place. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich....sandwich was great. The "house made" chips were unsalted, a bit bland but what was worse you could tell the oil they were fried in was old. Very off putting. That's being said, I would be willing to try again based on my dish. My boyfriend's plate however they just need to take off the menu. It was the ribs. Not sure how they cooked them but they were just completely off and then smothered in some weird bbq sauce. Leave the ribs to Goode co bbq across the freeway. They were just awful. That being said, the place was understanding and gave us credit for the rubs which we didn't ask for. So that was good and unexpected. Will try again but avoid the ribs for sure. read more

Great spot. The burger and the spicy chicken sandwich are both musts. Hurry and try it before it gets too busy to get a table.

This dining experience was fantastic!! The owner JP visited our table and the staff were always aware of our needs. JP was warm and inviting and gave me a birthday card. I was so impressed. The food was phenomenal!! It was a quality meal. Everything was delicious and hot(temperature) and fresh. Quality food from the appetizer to the desserts!! The environment was nice and relaxing as well. Will definitely come back to this restaurant!! Thank you for a fabulous birthday evening!! read more

Great food made with passion. Finest ingredients, classic menu items made to perfection. Must try artichoke dip, burger, home made fries chips. Order more than one dessert, because they are all outstanding. Very modern Ambiente. Handpicked music playlist rounds it all up. Fantastic job guys. Can't wait to come back. read more

We had a wonderful dinner at KP's. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The owner stopped by several times to check on us. My favorite was the hot chicken sandwich and the roasted cauliflower, but everything we tried was great! Looking forward to them being open on Tuesdays for lunch:). read more

Great Spot. Relocated from the heights to Memorial and have been here twice. We've tried the burger, chicken sandwich, caesar salad, and the kids had chicken tenders. Also shared a bottle or rose on the patio. Everything has been great. read more

Great staff & owner was very friendly and personable. We're vegetarian and ordered the veggie panini. Our meal was great! We are hoping for a little more "main course" vegetarian options in the future. Considering he is associated with Local Foods, we're hopeful we'll see some. read more

This place was ok. Not seeing the 5 star experience everyone is getting. I wanted to come by this place 3 times before I made a rating (as I do with most local spots). Tbh I would give this restaurant a 3 or 3.5 but decided to bump them up one star because the service is so great. Really nice and accommodating staff. We ordered the burger and 2 sides. Our sides were good, burger was okay (needs some veggies on it, lettuce onion, tomatoe or pickle etc.) Most places don't realize that a burger needs some acidity, rather it comes from tomatoes or the vinegar derived from pickles, it cuts through certain fatty proteins that leave an abundance of salty sensations when eating beef/pork. Its BYOB here and there's a Specs near buy so you can go grab whatever wine you'd like. I recommend doing this before getting to your table. Overall it seems like a nice local spot the regulars love, good staff, alright food, but nothing I'd write a letter home to mom about. read more

KP's is a great local spot in the heart of Memorial. The service was great and the food was fabulous. We tried the spinach and artichoke dip, hot chicken sandwich and the homemade cookie. The spinach and artichoke dip was fresh and delicious. I try not to order chicken at restaurants because many times it's over cooked. Not this one. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Great sandwich. read more

Amazing food, great service, wonderful environment. It is great for a casual lunch and also a nice, special-occasion type dinner.

I had a 16 dollar club sandwich called it's not your daddy's country club sandwich and it was not. Daddy's was piled high with thick sliced bacon, real hand cut meat, triple toasted bread and was classically delicious . This was more or less like a sad grilled cheese with lunch meat and pesto. The chips were not tasty. The hamburger was a frozen patty And uneventful. We went there because of all the Raving reviews..the place was nearly empty. Raving reviews..... read more
