My experience this morning reminded me why I don't go to Kopper Kettle more often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we arrived they were pretty empty but they were almost full by the time we left.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server seemed like she was new and was obviously overwhelmed. I ordered my usual - the Double Header with a waffle and like normal, the sausage links were barely warm. I tried to get my server's attention to ask to heat them up but we couldn't get her attention. I simply do not understand why they continue to operate short handed. It leads to poor customer service and a frustrating experience. We won't be back anytime soon. read more

I love this place a lot. The interior is unique and very cute. Every dish I've eaten has been delicious, their homemade white bread is my favorite part about visiting. WOW!!! Very RUDE service. As we walk in we were waiting to be seated, then another couple comes in behind us. The hostess asks "how many" we tell her two. There isn't enough good to say about the food here - their French toast is phenomenal, the portions are huge, the staff is warm and welcoming and the place feels like it's very homey. Cute place..service was okay but the time it took to get our food was at least 30 minutes and the food was horrible. Tastes like it had set under heat lamps for as long as it took to get the food. The Kopper Kettle Kafe, now just the Kopper Kettle, has been around forever it seems and when ever we are in town we stop there for breakfast. I can't speak to their other meals because I have not tried any. Their breakfast is great. The service is fast and very nice. It can get crowded on the weekends, but the wait it not long. I don't think they take reservations. It is a pretty small diner and so cute. Their bacon and hash browns are super good as are all their breakfast items. You will love this place. The served my raisin bread toast with butter, they bring me pumpkin pancake that I did not order but they charged me. The tri tip too salty and dry. Doesn't look like much on the outside but it is pretty clean, neat, and nice in the inside. Good service everyone was really nice. The food was amazing it took awhile because it was freshly made and it was so worth it. They did mess up my brother's order but it was an easy fix. Great place for small brunch get togethers, definitely coming again. The only thing was that it was pretty dark in the dining area and a lot of lightbulbs were out. Really cute dinner in Yucaipa. I was recommended to eat here. I was fortunate enough to get the cute table inside right next to the door. They had me at the peach iced tea! I ordered a scramble that was really good. They praised the raisin toast, which I found to be a bit dry and just OK but the egg scramble and iced tea were delicious. Next time I plan to try a pastry. This spot is incredible and super adorable! They have retro stuff everywhere and the pumpkin pancakes are the best pancakes I've had my entire life!!! I've gone back 3xs in the last 2 weeks just to eat them and get some homemade jam. I would have gone back more but I want to take my kiddo who I shared my to go order of pancakes with. He is super picky and only has a handful of items he loves to eat and now I can add these pancakes to that list. They serve your drinks in mason jars, have little old fashioned aprons hanging, copper pipe lights, they sell fresh baked goods, and so much more! Service is okay. It's not super friendly or welcoming and they don't smile or look happy but they aren't rude... more on the stale side. If the staff was friendly I'd definitely give them 5 stars. When I went to pay the cashier told me my credit card wouldn't process. I tried again and the machine asked me to key in the numbers- then it asked for my full address. ??? Weird . Then the cashier said it still wouldn't process. So I used a visa. Both cards were charged and when I showed the statements to the owner she denied it and refused to credit me. Then she told me she was going to update her credit processing machine because it's old. She Still wouldn't credit me even after I showed her the proof. A) Was it me or someone else? B) I haven't been there for months - and the whole restaurant seemed "off" - they were holding a grudge for months??? C) Whatever check I was presented with I paid WITH tip and I'm known to overtip.....The friend who was with me then paid WITH tip so I don't know what she's talking about....I left and was seething.....She said she had kept the check but someone took it down.....So how do i know what she's talking about...."We should look at our checks the next time"....How about the server gives us the correct check?
