Sausage and cheese omelette with home fries and biscuits and gravy

We first got here and they took awhile before they came and greeted us with the menus. The service was decent and we got our food and drinks in a timely matter. The biscuits and gravy were really soggy so I would not recommend. The omelette was good, nothing special but the home fries were amazing! My husband got the chicken sandwich which was really good, the chicken was juicy and the fries were crispy. The place was very clean even the restrooms. Probably would not come back here but it was nice to try something new.

A great spot in Yucaipa!! We had to hang in Yucaipa for a bit so we thought we would try a local favorite. This place was Fabulous!! Service: This must be family owned because you can tell they try extra hard to provide good service. The young man that helped us today was super friendly and helpful. Quickly seated, checked on us often. Food: I tried the Huevos Rancheros and it was super tasty. The combination of flavors went so well together, I couldn't stop eating it. It comes with beans potatoes and over easy eggs with pork and a phenomenal green sauce. You gotta try it! Cleanliness: this place is super clean and enforces social distancing. The staff wears masks and cleans up up well after each customer. Really impressed....if you are in the area, give this local place a try, and tip big!

Waaaaaay overpriced. They white outed the prices on the menu. Nothing under $18. Come on. Mediocre food at best

The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. Next time...chicken fried steak, or maybe a bowl of hearty homemade soup, y'all!

I ordered the turkey club with fries, and it absolutely hit the mark. The sandwich had perfectly crispy bread with moist, flavorful turkey--every bite was spot on. The fries were just as impressive: crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously addictive. The real standout combo though? Dipping those fries in their house made ranch, so good. Definitely a meal I'll be thinking about and coming back for!

The margaritas are some of the best around and I love when they use aqua fresca as the base for them, making them so fresh! The restaurant was starting to get busy and everyone was in a good mood. There's always a good vibe especially by the bar and our server was really nice too. I ordered the fish and shrimp tostada this time around and they aren't stingy with the ceviche or the avocado. It was very good and satisfying. My hubby ordered the mojarra frita which is the exact same thing he ordered last time because that's what brought us here in the first place! He was craving a nice sized fried fish and he really liked the one here. Looks like they have a nice brunch on Sundays too, so we'll have to try that out one weekend soon!

At 9 am on weekdays they have a full assortment delicious, fresh baked pastries and the staff are hard at work preparing trays for later in the day. The servers are friendly and it's not too busy - lines of maybe 4 or 5 people at the most. There are two businesses sharing the same building: Village Bread on the right and Lucid Coffee on the left. You get in line and pay twice, once for drinks and again for pastries. It's great to support local, independent businesses and hopefully the arrangement is working out well for both of them. There are small tables with stools to sit on around the side of the counter on the way to the gender-neutral restroom at the back of the shop. The tables are a bit small but it leaves a wide aisle and clearly communicates that the building is accessible for folks who use wheelchairs. The hum of the oven fans creates white noise in the background and there is music playing but not distractingly loud. I find it easy to get work done here. There is free wifi, ask at the counter for the QR code or password.
