5 STAR COUNTRY KITCHEN!!!! My family and I have been returning to this restaurant at least twice a year for the last 4 years. We don't live close by but haven't forgotten it since our first visit in 2022. This place is authentic farm fresh food and generous with their portions. We've tried many plates on the menu and haven't been disappointed. The atmosphere is friendly, clean, and welcoming. You can feel the good vibes here, we love it! Our favorites are the chilaquiles plate, the ribeye steak and eggs, the pancakes, the biscuits and gravy, and everything else l I have brought many family members here with me and they all loved it. I don't write too many reviews but had to for this place! We came here once when in town and had to come again when in town 6 months later, spent more than 30minutes trying to remember the restaurant because we refused to go anywhere else. Service is beyond kind and hospitable and the breakfast can't be beat, so we just don't go anywhere else. They arrive early in the morning and make their gravy from scratch, only fresh ingredients and freshly made, kids also love this place. read more

Their food is delicious. Does not taste like frozen foods but seems fresh. Even their lemonade is made from scratch. Therefore be notified if you want fresh tasting food you have to wait on it. It is well worth the wait. read more

Restaurant's food portions are not sufficient. You pay close to $20.00 for a small amount enough for a child but for an adult. They only serve a spoon full of beans and a minimal portion of hash browns. I normally don't eat heavy but what they serve is not worth the price. read more

We first got here and they took awhile before they came and greeted us with the menus. The service was decent and we got our food and drinks in a timely matter. The biscuits and gravy were really soggy so I would not recommend. The omelette was good, nothing special but the home fries were amazing! My husband got the chicken sandwich which was really good, the chicken was juicy and the fries were crispy. The place was very clean even the restrooms. A great spot in Yucaipa!! We had to hang in Yucaipa for a bit so we thought we would try a local favorite. This place was Fabulous!! Service: This must be family owned because you can tell they try extra hard to provide good service. The young man that helped us today was super friendly and helpful. Quickly seated, checked on us often. Food: I tried the Huevos Rancheros and it was super tasty. The combination of flavors went so well together, I couldn't stop eating it. It comes with beans potatoes and over easy eggs with pork and a phenomenal green sauce. You gotta try it! Cleanliness: this place is super clean and enforces social distancing. The staff wears masks and cleans up up well after each customer. Really impressed....if you are in the area, give this local place a try, and tip big! read more

Wow! Absolutely amazing food. Probably the best breakfast in Yucaipa. Definitely recommend. Biscuits and gravy are flaky and creamy, chilaquiles were flavorful and authentic, waffles are soft but with a nice sugary crust on the outside. We will definitely be coming back here frequently. Also they've adapted so well to the COVID-19 requirements and have set up nice patio seating. Friendly, prompt, courteous service. Absolutely no complaints. My friend and I dropped in on a Morning for breakfast. Super clean, friendly staff. I had the California omelette with tomatoes subbed for potatoes. I upgraded from toast or pancakes to the banana caramel crepes. Everything was yummy and well prepared. My friend ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich with patty sausage inside. Sorry to say, Nope this is not it for Mexican breakfast. I've wanted to try this place for a while now and now I can say I tried it. I seen all the good reviews and wonder, why? Well Maybe because I tried the Mexican breakfast and should have tried traditional. The wait is sort of long but I seen they are short , so I don't mind that. The service was okay the guy was nice but never came back after he served our food. The hot sauce (Tapatio) on the tables looks and tastes off too the color looks old. The Chilaquiles tortilla was so burnt I couldn't cut it and just took off plate. The green verde sauce was awful and 4 pebbles of meat on the eggs. Sorry but for $14.99 it didn't taste good, it not worth it in my opinion. I was starving and ate it except for the green sauce. It's is cute place and I try to support local businesses, but Maybe I'll try again just regular breakfast and when they have more help hired. read more

Always have a great meal and great service. In fact, I'm going to be eating there again tomorrow. The health department gives it an 'A' rating, and the windows are clean, which is a must for me. DO NOT COME HERE, my sister, brother in law, and fiance all went here to wait 2 hours for our food. The food was okay and the customer service was disastrous. We were not greeted at the door and the lady was extremely rude to us. The check was also in correct and I never received some of my food. Just a low end restaurant. The decor will fool you. We received our menus right away. The service was amazing. Now to the food. I had the 3 egg meat lovers omelette with hash browns. It was crazy good. My wife had the chicken fried steak and eggs with home fries. The chicken fried steak was HUGE. It was very good. Had a great taste. Her eggs were done to perfection. The gravy was also very good. The home fries has onions and peppers in them, but not too much. Just enough to give it a good flavor. We randomly stopped here for breakfast. My husband and I shared the country fried steak and the portions were huge. The breakfast potatoes had so much flavor and so did the gravy. This is an awesome little spot for some tasty breakfast and lunch options. Service is always very friendly and the atmosphere is inviting and clean. There are long wait times because they are understaffed, so I encourage everyone to extend some grace. Covid has hit all businesses hard but the food here is top notch and definitely worth the wait. I took my wife for a Valentine's Day lunch today (2/14/23) around 12:15 pm. We couldn't have been more pleased. We appeared to have beaten the lunch crowd on this day. We were greeted upon entering with a welcoming offer to take any seat of our choosing. Shortly thereafter, we were brought menus, along with our beverage order being taken. Within 3-5 minutes our full order was taken. I had the club sandwich with onion rings, while my wife ordered the Hawaiian burger with fried zucchini. We had our food at the table within approx.10 minutes; and wow, was everything prepared & presented to perfection. What an excellent dining experience. I wish I could give more stars (I like small town diners that are not chains) but they still have a bit to get the food up to par. Clean restaurant and nice staff. My food was just OK. I like trying corn beef hash at different places because it's a great way to see how homemade food is (or not). The waiter said it's fresh but the texture and taste did not seem like it. It was mushy just like canned corn beef hash. I did leave the recommendation that if it's fresh they may want to leave the meat more in cut chunks rather that purée it. I would not order it again. The pancake I had with it was very good,'light and fluffy. The menu lacks luster. They need some cute home town food dish names and/or specialties to draw people in. I may go back in time to see if the menu has approved. Very glad we have another choice of cafes and I hope they succeed. read more

First thing you notice when you walk in isn't how big inside it is, but how especially clean it is! Service was and is fast and efficient. And the food... oh the food!! All four of us had something different and each of us loved our meals. I can't recommend anything in particular because everything was great! Can't wait to sample more of the menu.
