It was a good time revisiting an old regular for me! As expected, prices are higher but I feel like it is correspondent to the amount of food that I got! It was flavorful and delicous! Did drive thru and there was a little bit of a wait, probably around 10 mins until I got my food. Service is still very nice and friendly!

Fresh ingredients, down-to-earth owners, and big portions! The food was delicious. Mostly everything was made from scratch, even the mozzarella sticks. I also fell in love with their tzatziki sauce, so good! We ended up talking to one of the brothers who owns the restaurant and he was very kind and told us a little bit about his business and how everything started. The inside of the restaurant has a very homey feel and though the food takes a while to come out, its taste is very fresh. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into the quality of their dishes. Don't let the prices steer you away because the portion lasted me two meals! I would recommend this to anyone and will go back for sure

My parents have been here a few times but this past Thursday was my first time going and it was awesome! The staff here is so nice and willing to explain what everything is and the food is super super delicious. It held up really nicely when I went to reheat it for my lunch at work later on that night. The falafel and spanakopita were still crispy. My favorite thing was probably their baklava cheesecake. It tasted like baklava, a cinnamon roll, and a cheesecake all mixed together. 100/10 experience from here.

My first time trying out this place. I choose to do the drive through. Oh my the menu is extensive, so many choices. I had a taste for the Gyro and noticed there was a Philly cheese steak Gyro on the menu. Well you guessed it my friend that was my choice. Cooked to order so you will have a bit of a wait...however the wait time was well worth it ! That was one of the best Gyros I'v had in a long time. Also it was huge and took me 3 days to finish. Absolutely delicious, everything about it ! Customer service was kind & friendly. I was given a $5 dollar coupon to use when I come back. So if you are ever in the area and you have a taste for a Gyro....This is the place ! Thank you for fulfilling my need and just know that ....I'll Be Back !!! Chef Ann

Can't miss the Fat Greek's bright blue lights at night on Yucaipa Blvd. Blue in Greece's flag represent vast sky and sea.. Was visiting family in this area during Christmas week and checked out this Greek eatery that also has American and Mexican food items on the menu. This place is a taste of Greece in the small suburb of Yucaipa. Decades ago, the building actually used to an A&W It is fast casual so you order at the counter. The order taker and her coworker on a Friday evening were kind and friendly. I actually don't remember if my hubby had to grab the tray at the counter or if they brought it to us. Food is fresh and tasty. Hubby got the gyro plate which were generous portions along with fries and a fountain drink. I just wanted a Greek salad easy on the onions and they did just that. Although all was well with food and service, price points are high for fast casual food. This is more like a 3.6 stars rounded up to 4.

Wow!! I have not been here in many years. That is no joke. So I saw a picture of the falafel burger. I was instantly hooked on trying it. I have never had falafel before. I am broadening my food horizons. they say people eat with their eyes and with this I actually ate it with my mouth. Man it was good! So it all started when I walked through the door. People were friendly and helpful when ordering. So I ordered the falafel burger to eat there. Then I also ordered hummus with pita bread to go. The falafel burger came out nice and hot. Had cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, with feta, and tzatziki sauce. Altogether, I was really impressed. Especially for something I have never had before. To be honest I would order it again. I'm not a vegetarian as I do love eating meat. Let me tell you though this falafel burger was great. The place definitely looks bigger from the outside, but don't let that fool you as it's nice on the inside. Once I got home I did try the hummus with the pita bread. I got it to go for my lunch tomorrow at work. I did try a little bit and it was really good. I would also order hummus from here again. Thank you very much for a great visit. I definitely will be back.

I forgot to take pictures of the rest of the food but it was very delicious and staff is very friendly. Great atmosphere.

Finally got to come here! And it did not disappoint! Went on a Monday evening. Great menu and they have a lot to choose from. They also have a full bar. They've got TVs and have a couple with beautiful scenes of Greece. Service was impeccable! I believe it was the owner that helped us and he was great. He had recommendations on what to order. He was also very attentive once he brought us our order to the table. Food was great!! I ordered the traditional gyro and it was delicious. Packed with meat! Great flavor. Comes with a side and went with their Greek salad. The Greek vinaigrette was amazing. I also ordered the Spanikopita. Freshly baked from the oven. Nice crunch and it was just really good. Highly recommend coming here! Will definitely be going back!

Ribeye steak sandwich. My husband loved it
Varinia R.

I was in Yucaipa with my husband and some friends from church for an event and decided to stop by The Fat Greek for lunch. First, the staff is super friendly and welcoming which is always a plus. You order your food at the cash register, find a booth to sit at, and the staff will bring out the food to your table. I decided on get a ribeye steak pita sandwich. It comes with steak strips, lettuce, onion, tomato, and tzatziki sauce. I added feta for an extra charge. The ribeye was grilled to perfection! I also got a side fries to share with my husband. He decided to get a ribeye steak sandwich and said it's one of the best he's ever had. My friends got a burger with tater tots, tater tots topped with feta and garlic for their son, and a mixed veggie plate. The mixed veggie plate came with falafel, gigandes, dolmades, tabouli, hummus, rice, and pita bread. They enjoyed their food as well. I love that they carry Stubborn sodas as well. They have a small bar area with a couple of TV's showing videos of Greece and some funny/action videos. I'm so happy we stopped by this restaurant. Next time I'm in Yucaipa, I'll be back to try out more of their menu and some of their Greek desserts!

Suggestions: for the nightly specials on the white grease boards in the lobby and bar areas, please list the PRICES next to the assorted specials......Or, make up printed hand-outs to give to the guests as they are seated, as no one wants to have the server go thru each one by one to get that info. So, tonight we wanted to have a 'nicer' dinner and wow, we were blown away. I made a reservation, so happy that I did, the place was packed at 6:15. They've restored my faith in a good steak (I grew up on Midwest beef, hard to live up to that). My steak was melt in your mouth, juicy and so flavorful. My hubby can't eat beef right now so he had the Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled shrimp. It was very good as well. The only 2 draw backs in the entire meal: his shrimp were a tad over cooked (it's a steak house so we gave them a little room for error) and the potato/corn chowder was very bland and had almost zero corn. It was more like potato/milk gravy. Very thick. I would stay away from the chowder and order a salad instead. But the steak and pasta were amazing. The calamari app was also one of the best I've had. Normally you only get that good a calamari at the beach... well done! My margarita was tasty and all of the sides were delish and the carrot cake was very good. All in all, i think we'd give it an 8 1/2. We will definitely be back, I saw so many items on the menu that I would like to try. Try it for yourself.

There's always a good vibe especially by the bar and our server was really nice too. I ordered the fish and shrimp tostada this time around and they aren't stingy with the ceviche or the avocado. It was very good and satisfying. My hubby ordered the mojarra frita which is the exact same thing he ordered last time because that's what brought us here in the first place! He was craving a nice sized fried fish and he really liked the one here. Looks like they have a nice brunch on Sundays too, so we'll have to try that out one weekend soon!

We hadn't been to Eureka since they moved to the new location, and OMG, the new location is BANGING. Such a vibe! The music was great, the atmosphere made me want to stay and hang out all afternoon, and apparently Tuesdays are also half-off wine days?! I got a 9 oz pour for $8.25. EIGHT DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS. That is unheard of, and it was really yummy. Honestly, I did not want to leave. Unfortunately, my husband had to go back to work, and I was sitting there wishing he would just take the rest of the day off and hang out with me. The lunch specials are also a great deal at around $13. I had the al pastor fish tacos, which were really yummy. I feel like the "al pastor" part was mostly the seasoning and pineapple, but they still had great flavor. You can also add a third taco for a 3 bucks, which is nice. My husband got the ahi poke bowl and OH. MY. GOSH. It was SO GOOD. Whatever sauce they put on that bowl needs to make its way over to the fish tacos! That would be my one critique. The sour cream on the tacos actually took away from the flavor a little bit for me. Swap that out for some of that delicious sauce from the ahi bowl, and I seriously think those tacos would go from five-star to TEN-STAR status. I swapped my fries for the Brussels sprouts, and those did NOT disappoint. Super delicious! The sauce settles toward the bottom, so give them a good mix and you're golden. And then came dessert... The bourbon barrel cake. I was basically fainting over how good it was. Absolutely delicious and such a perfect way to end lunch. Our server, Ellias (with two Ls!), was awesome too. Super attentive, friendly, and took great care of us the entire time. Five stars for the food. Five stars for the atmosphere. Five stars for the service. Even though we came in before the lunch rush and it wasn't packed yet, the place still had such a great energy. It didn't need to be busy to feel like a vibe. Definitely coming back to try some of the other lunch specials, and probably another Tuesdate because apparently $8.25 glasses of wine are now part of my Tuesday lunch-date plans. Great experience all around. Five, five, FIVE!

My husband and I enjoyed talking with him so much, he honestly could have sat down and joined our conversation! Since it was Buffalo Trace Thursday, I asked Avery if the bartender could make me an off-menu "Cowboy Spritz." I explained the ingredients (which features Buffalo Trace bourbon), and he didn't hesitate to make it happen. The bartender, Eileen, made the absolute best rendition of a Cowboy Spritz I've ever had--exceedingly better than expected, completely delicious, and so refreshing. I really hope Eureka! considers adding it as a permanent specialty drink on their menu because it was incredible!
