I love this place. We've been going here since we moved to Calimesa nearly five years ago. This time I tried a Club sandwich with Fries. Everything was fresh and crispy and tasted amazing. A large order of onion rings came in a huge BOX and the double cheese burger was classically styled with no frills and straight ahead Americana. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are satisfying. If you haven't tried them? Be kind to yourself and check them out! read more

I had a horrible experience first the lady took my order when I got to the window. She charged me but forgot to add the two shakes which was fine. She still fixed it but I spent about almost $60 and all my hamburgers were soggy. Also I didn't order a chili cheese fry. I ordered a regular fry and they gave me a chili cheese fry it was soggy as well. I also mentioned that I wanted my fries Well done honestly please don't come here and spend your money. It's not even worth it. I'm very disappointed that was my last 60 dollars until pay day Wednesday sadly horrible decision to come to this place ! read more

Came for our first visit. Saw this as we drove by on Yucaipa Blvd. Service is excellent, everyone was very attentive. We really enjoyed our meals. Loads of meat on the Carnitas Chilequiles. (With 3 eggs) My steak was perfect med-well. (With 3 eggs) Fried mushrooms were so very tasty. Obviously we could share plates. And probably will next time. Only gave a 4* because I like my Cafe de Olla a little stronger in flavor. It was still good, but could improve. WE WILL BE BACK! read more

Been coming here a while, but that may change. Last few times we have ordered burgers are so greasy that the buns are soaked and soggy to the point you can't pick it up because it just falls apart. The same with the Philly sandwiches.. bun falls. My turkey grinder was socked and dripping in what I assume is a vinegrette. Also been missing items on to-go orders. read more

Came here today the girl in the drive through was rude, she was rude in the beginning in the speaker. I guess when you order the Jr burger it's just pain which I didn't knew. Then at the window the lady told me if I wanted mayo and lettuce and I told her I didn't want tomato or onions since the beginning in the speaker again I didn't know it was just plain. On top of that came home and my bun on the burger is soo hard is not even soft ! Won't be coming here again!!! read more

We have come here for years, even back when it was John's Philly Cheesecake. The name has changed, but the menu is the same, so I'm not sure if it's a new owner or they just changed the name. Let me first say, that their Customer Service has been great. Very friendly, polite, no complaints. However, we have noticed a decline in the food in recent months. The burgers seem to be very thin now. The burritos are never full. Definitely a cost saving measure I'm sure. But the prices are still high! We ordered: A bacon avocado cheeseburger with an extra patty. A medium drink A large drink A zucchini A Philly Cheesesteak meat and cheese only burrito It was $55 No problem, you get what you pay for. Except I didn't. The burger had one piece of bacon, a thin layer of avocado, and the patties were as thin as McDonald's cheap burgers. The meat and cheese only burrito had lettuce, tomato, unmelted shredded cheese and there wasn't even a good amount of meat in it, when we paid extra for an all meat burrito. We took the burrito back inside and they did remake it (still the unmelted shredded cheese) but they at least tried to rectify it and apologized. (More good customer service). Honestly, for $55 we could go get a sit down meal, so why continue to go back when the food is mediocre? read more

Top-notch breakfast burrito. Clean restaurant, friendly team, huge menu. Will be back.

Fast food, and the $8.99 onion rings were orange and awful. Not sure what the hype was all about, glad we split a burger.

Another delicious breakfast at Mega Burger! If you haven't eaten there yet, you should check them out! Great food, great service, and affordable prices! read more

Yes this place is delicious and amazing! Super friendly employees! I love this place!

Food here is great and ready fast. I love their chili fries I add bell peppers to them to keep it healthy ;)

I was excited to try Mega Burger I was getting tired of the in n Out, Cane's, Chick filA, etc and was looking for something different. They have a vast menu. Unfortunately, they SUCK. Grand daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancakes. They arrived burnt. My other grand daughter ordered the chicken strips. They were try and tasteless. My son, wife and myself ordered burgers. They were large but tasteless. They messed up the order which the server blamed on new kitchen staff. I guess that also explains how I ended up with massive diarrhea throughout the night. $70 dinner, literally, down the toilet. I won't be back. I should have stuck with the regular places. read more

Mega Burger and I had a perfectly civil relationship. Not a love story, not a tragedy--just two acquaintances sharing a meal and then politely parting ways, like coworkers who nod at each other in the break room. The burger itself was... fine. Not bad, not great--just confidently occupying the vast middle ground of burger‑dom. Imagine a burger that shows up to work on time, does its job, never causes trouble, but also never volunteers for anything extra. That was my burger. Fries? Also fine. The kind of fries that say, "I'm here so the burger doesn't feel lonely." Service was friendly, the place was clean, and nothing offended me--which is honestly a win these days. But nothing wowed me either. No fireworks. No angels singing. No moment where I whispered, "Oh wow, I need to text someone about this." Mega Burger is the Switzerland of burger joints: neutral, peaceful, and unlikely to start any strong feelings. Would I go back? Sure--if I'm in the area, hungry, and craving a burger that won't challenge me emotionally. read more

This review is for the pastrami sandwich it's getting zero stars bread was stale and hard , the sandwich was drenched in salt literally you can taste way to much salt!!! And it was really greasy every time i picked up the sandwich to take a bite my hands were full of greasy oily stuff im surprised I didn't have a heart attack eating this thing . I give 5 stars for the fried zucchini probably the best ive had read more

My boyfriend and I were actually going to go to Tams next door but we saw Mega Burger and decided to give them a try. Service right off the bat was great, the cashier was friendly and super nice! Our food came out fast and fresh. There's a retro feel to this place, (a good thing) reminds me of burger joints in LA. Food was nice and hot, burger was amazing and the fries were delicious. Will definitely come back to this place. read more

I decided to give this place a try as I used to come here before it changed ownership. They remodeled the place inside and improved the ambiance. The menus are on large flatscreens so they are nice to see. The store is nice and clean and the staff are super friendly.. This visit I stopped in as I was told they have a massive breakfast burrito for $10.. I ordered the breakfast burrito that had bacon, ham, sausage, potato, egg, and cheese. The burrito was $15 and and with the tax and surcharge for using my debit card, it was just under $17.. The burrito was good and tasty, but was smaller than two other places town that sell them for $12 with my debit card.. I have been here before for the burgers and they are great for the money.. read more

Mega burgers is great for breakfast (all day), lunch and dinner. They offer a good selection of sandwiches, salads, omelets, pancakes, waffles, Mexican, some seafood-fried, shakes, banana splits, cold drinks, coffee, the usual food fare :) ... very clean inside and out, and comfortable indoor seating with TVs. Friendly staff willing to help and serve you. They offer several $4 dollar happy hour (early bird) specials: taquitos, chili fries, chicken sandwich and I had the charbroiled cheeseburger special. The burger is a big size. They're between 6th and 5th streets across from Yucaipa's civic center. read more

Delicious, fresh and tasty was our breakfast experience at Mega Burgers located in the picturesque foothills community of Yucaipa California! This classic diner style restaurant featuring breakfast, lunch and dinners,we found that Mega Burgers is a great value for the quality and large portions! We visited for a sunrise breakfast and were welcomed by the friendly waitress who offered suggestions being our first time their. We chose their breakfast special of 2 eggs,2 plump and juicy sausages,2 fluffy pancakes and the classic ham and eggs plate with freshly made (and perfectly done!) hash brown potatoes. Everything was ready in just a few minutes and was fresh and tasty! They bring it to your table and the server came back often to check if we needed more coffee-a great experience! They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day everyday starting at 6AM to 9PM. The restaurant ,with comfortable booths ,was sparkling clean as were the bathrooms, windows, floors ,drink and beverage area-live stream TV on 2 big monitors to keep up on the news! Food is always good but I ordered the small chilli cheese fries during happy hour 2-4 and got charged $7.99 when I should've only been charged $5.99 so I called back when I got home n looked at the receipt and asked why we didn't get the happy hour price and they got all rude and wanted to argue with me and say that we have to tell them it's the happy hour price... I'm sorry but if u serve happy hour items during 2-4 u should automatically know what those items are and just put them in at the right price ... it is not the customers job to Tell u it's happy hour... get ur shit together people ... read more

The service in this restaurant is great. I have been here many times and the cashiers/servers are super nice! We come in so often the cooks even know us! The food is always hot! I usually get a cheeseburger and I love the fact that they char broil them. Char broiling a burger gives it a wonderful flavor you can't get from grilling them. Iced tea is brewed, delicious, and fresh! The restaurant is always clean. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen in most of the Yucaipa area restaurants. read more

Food is always good, but customer services is not great. The first time my family visited, the cashier gal asked if we wanted our food for there or to go. I replied to go please. She put the order in for there. Then when our food was ready, the same gal told the other girl that I had asked to eat there and I was standing within ear shot. Although an easy fix, it seemed as if she was trying to cover her mistake instead of owning it. I thought that was very rude. I have been a couple other times and the cashier gal always seems annoyed. It's unfortunate because the food is good. read more

My BF and I decided to go an try the menudo for breakfast yesterday. It was a very generous sized bowl (it should be for $14 each). It was NOT worth the price. So bland, really had to doctor it up. The gal at the counter was friendly. People arriving after us were receiving their menudo. I told the BF, he asked me if I was sure. I said yes. Took the little girl 20 minutes to bring HIS bowl. Too flirtaious with him, didn't even acknowledge that I was there. She brought the condiments, and walked away. BF stopped her FIVE MINUTES LATER asking about my food. She said "oh, you ordered menudo too?". I said nothing. She brings my bowl and asked BF if he needed anything else. We both decided that we will not return. Both he and I did not care for the food, nor the lack of respect for either of us by the child. read more
