I ordered the Impossible Burger w/ Fries online and it was ready at an efficient time. I decided to stay and eat it there with work colleagues. It was a packed house for a Wednesday evening around 5:25pm. I only found one parking spot. Parking lot is limited. You might have to park on the street or across the street. The ambiance is a great social place that fits larger parties. I'm rating 3 stars cuz the burger and fries were very salty. I wouldn't order that again if I return there. I've been attending Jake's for over ten years! They have a great variety of menu options that all my kids and family enjoy! They offer great service and the ambiance is also wholesome to sports and great music! This restaurant is a real staple in the Yucaipa community! They also have a full bar and the beer selections are the best in town! read more

i've been going here for years it's been a few months since our last visit but today something was off, noticed a few little changes figured updates. went for happy hour and it took forever to get service, bread was delivered with the menus but no service ware or napkins, Ordered drinks and Ice water. Never got the water asked again for it but never got it. Bread got cold, waitress never came back food came out before soup and salad. i finally went to the bar and got my ice and talked to the bartender ( real sweetheart). it's under new ownership and working out many kinks. *IF* I ever go back I'll sit at the bar, they were served drinks and food way before us. it's really sad this was our "Go To" for happy hour. Not our vibe. Second visit to Jake's and we aren't impressed. Service was great; hosts and servers are polite, helpful, and friendly. The menu could use a re-vamp and the kitchen needs rescue. Our group ordered boneless wings, cheese steak, BBLT, and kids mac and cheese. All were edible and we didn't complain, we paid, tipped, and left. However for the BBLT we noted bacon was nearly burnt and the kids mac was listed as "bite size penne" but was full size so our toddler didn't bother to eat it. Husband said the cheese sauce was simple but ok. The boneless wings looked like diced chicken tossed in a bit of flour and fried. Very greasy. Tossed in a transparent sauce. A meal unlike anything I've seen, I ate some but bits of the chicken were very chewy. The food presentation may be the bar's divey type of food that some enjoy but not really our pace. The cook needs supervision or cooking lessons! Pasta was overcooked and sauce came from a jar without any help. Just poured on top of the noodles. So bad we sent it back and asked for a plain hamburger and fries. After waiting 20+ minutes and waitress telling us twice it was coming soon, we decided it was not worth it. Paid our bill and left. I'll give the benefit of the doubt because they were having bingo night, but inside was basically empty. 30 mins to get our drinks, server not checking in at all. One plate came and was cold, 10 mins second plate without the fries, had to ask. The waitress was cold, but maybe stressed from their bingo event, I don't know. But then 87$ for two drinks and two sandwiches (one very cold) is insane for crappy service, food would have been decent if was hot. The fries were really good when we got them fresh. My daughter and I stopped in for a quick bite. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was Lexi. The bar was pretty full but everyone around us was friendly. They also had the tvs on but the best part was that my daughter and I could talk and hear each other! We had the best margaritas! I asked for a classic margarita but did not want all the sugar from mix. This girl made a classic margarita with fresh limes, a few other ingredients that I don't want to give away, Casamigos blanco, shaken well and poured over a full glass of ice with a tajin rim (my daughter had salt rim). It was delicious and refreshing. We also had some delicious wings that came to us exactly how we ordered them! We will definitely be back! read more

Bought some pizza for take out, spent over $100 and the pizza was under cooked, and doughy. Pizza stuck to the paper and fell apart when you tried to pick up a slice. This is poor quality considering it's $26 for a pizza:( Wings were burnt and they didn't provide ranch upon our request. Not the first time something like this has happened at this restaurant, one time we got raw sausage and another time we got raw hot wings. This is a nice restaurant and sports bar in Yucaipa. My family and I have been here a few times and the food is consistently good. The burgers, wings, and soup & salad menu items are really good. they also have a good beer selection. The restaurant is clean and in fair condition, but I am giving it three stars because of service. As mentioned before, food quality is consistently good, but service is not. We have had good service before, but we were not so lucky during our last visit. The restaurant was supposed to close at 10:00 pm according to Yelp and Google. We arrived at 8:30 pm and felt very rushed by our server, who, by the way disappeared for about 15 minutes. My husband and I ordered the soup and salad which is supposed to be all-you-can-eat, but when my husband ordered a second bowl of soup, we were told there was no more soup left. There was over an hour left before closing and there was no more soup??? There were other smaller issues, like the items not served according to our requests, and the lack of service for a long periods of time, even when we were trying to pay. Also, be aware that sodas are very experience, so you may be better ordering water or beer. With a little more attention to service, Jake's Bistro could be a great restaurant, especially since there are not many options for late dining in Yucaipa. Hopefully management will put more effort into training their staff and make help this restaurant reach the level it is capable of reaching. read more

We were sat right away and got drinks fast. We had to ask for bread 3 times and waited awhile for our order to be taken. After 1 hour and having to get drinks from the bar we asked for our order to be cancelled and left. The girl who gave me the food prompted me to pay again. I told her I already paid and she asked "did it charge you?" i had the transaction and receipt. Get home and realized the "Grilled Steak Wrap" was actually just a wrap with some sort of lunch meat. The "double bacon" BLT had hardly any bacon and a pinch of diced tomatoes. Ordered a dinner salad, chicken Pasta Alfredo, soda and yummy roll......$20 before tip.Meal was so-so, with the pasta suffering from uneven cooking (some was stuck togehter and way too chewy), too much garlic and not enough sauce. Service was fine, until the female server found some locals and decided a long chat with them was more important than closing out my bill... Unless you take advantage of their lunch specials, this place is crazy expensive with most items running $20 to $26....And, to that they add a 3.5% surcharge to your bill without any warning. Brought a friend to Jake's because I saw their bread pudding posted on Facebook. I called ahead of time to make sure they still had it and that it wasn't just a limited thing. They said they had it. Brought my friend and we both ordered salads. The caprese was OK. My friend got the antipasto salad and said it was good. We then ordered the bread pudding and the very kind waitress said she would check to see if they had it. When she came back, she said they only had a five serving size and that it was $21. I was shocked but I really wanted my friend to have it so I said yes, thinking I can just bring the rest of it to my family. When the bread pudding came, it was NOT for a serving of five, but MAYBE two. It looked like a slightly larger size of dessert. I was shocked that this was $21, but I paid and we left. I decided to call the next the day to ask how much it cost because the price did not seem right to me. The lady on the phone confirmed that they do have a $21 version but that is as a breakfast dish. The dessert version is $11. Why wasn't I given an option when this was clearly meant to be a dessert (we arrived after 6pm and had dinner salads). This was bizarre. I feel a little duped by this, but the service was wonderful and I was really appreciative of being able to sit outside to enjoy our meal, so overall, I would recommend coming here. Very disappointed in my DoorDash order tonight. I was running late and decided to order DoorDash for dinner to be ready when I got home. I decided to try the Chicken Wings and the Ranch Sauce was missing, everything else was good. I called Jake's just to inform them of the error, just so they can be aware for other orders and/or future orders. The girl that answered the phone (she sounded young) said "there's nothing we can do about it now. Next time you should probably just order and pickup your food to be sure you get everything!" I forgot to get her name, but she was so pleasant and friendly and smiled most of the time. Poor thing-drink orders were so messed up not from the waitress, but the bartender was not a bartender and was making these drinks. Example Cadillac margarita-Came with a shot of dark rum instead of the Grand Marnier. Several of us had horrible dinners- I've never had fettuccine taste so bad or actually have no taste! Stopped in for dinner last week and was very satisfied with our experience. Fun atmosphere, sports on the TVs, and good food. Currently they offer indoor and covered patio dining. SERVICE: Steven assisted us and he was friendly and worked well with us to get the orders exactly as desired. However, there were a couple of small things we asked for that we needed to request twice. I also noticed that only half of the staff were wearing masks. I'm pretty sure this is still a Covid-19 requirement at this time. DRINK: Jake's has a full bar with lots of craft beers on tap, but we just had sodas and a bottle of Corona Light...nothing special to report. FOOD: We received a basket of complimentary rolls, one for each person, very large with the whipped garlic butter. We all ordered one of their "Gourmet Burgers" and they were delicious (and huge!). The patties were well seasoned, and we ordered a "medium rare, medium, and well done" and they were all cooked perfectly and still quite juicy. They come with your choice of beer battered fries, house salad, or cup of soup. · 51/50 Burger: 1/2 lb. Angus beef, topped with Italian sausage, applewood smoked bacon, and all the usual accoutrements, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and Thousand Island dressing. · Pastrami Burger: 1/2 lb. Angus beef, topped with thinly sliced New York pastrami, double mozzarella cheeses, spicy mustard, and all the usual accoutrements, lettuce, tomato, onion, and lots of pickles. · John Wayne Burger: 1/2 lb.
