I don't know how the elderly lady with walker was able to get up the stairs or they weren't able to dine there. I didn't mind this place. It's not like Assaggio, but more like Olive Garden. Food was okay but the view and ambience were nice, especially at Christmas at Night! It's a huge restaurant with seating for parties with a lot of free parking shared with the golfers at the golf course. Indoor and outdoor seating. The last time, my friends weren't too impressed, but we did try variety of dishes from pizza, salad, pasta and appetizers. They have some specials from time to time. So sad that tomorrow is their last day of business according to my friend. Sad to see many restaurants are closing soon.

My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.

My mom and I both got food poisoning, which really made traveling with my family extra enjoyable. The food itself was bland and underwhelming, but somehow the attitude from our server was even worse. She was initially nice, but apparently that didn't last very long. She offered everyone at the table water, so naturally, we accepted it. When she noticed that my mom and I weren't drinking ours, she seriously said, "You shouldn't have ordered it if you don't drink water." Ma'am... YOU offered the water. Why are you acting like two glasses of tap water are coming directly out of your paycheck? The attitude was completely unnecessary and honestly embarrassing. Between the bland food, terrible customer service, and both my mom and me getting sick afterward, this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Definitely not somewhere I would ever return to, and I would strongly think twice before eating here--especially if you have a flight afterward. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.

Island Brews at terminal 15 in Honolulu airport is crowded and noisy with overhead TV monitors of sport events. Ordered the $15 Hawaiian pizza and the $15 BBQ chicken. both personal sizes 7" in diameter. Pizza ordered at 11:29am, and delivered at 11:38am, ready in 9 minutes. Wife's Hawaiian Pizza comes with ham, scallion, crushed pineapple, and bacon. Not a whole lot of flavors as they skimped on the overcooked ham and bacon, with only a few bits of pineapple. My BBQ chicken comes with pulled chicken, hawaiian bbq sauce, red onion, mozaarella and gouda cheese. Chicken is tasteless, but the long strips of onions and BBQ sauce make all the difference in the world, as this is the most flavorful of the two pizzas. Fast forward four months and we have another stopover at Island Brews. We order at 11:15am and pizzas arrive at 11:28am. The $15 mushroom sausage pepperoni comes with very little mushroom, but with at least 4 slices of pepperonis and a decent amount of sausage in a red sauce to satisfy any carnivore. The $14 vegetarian pizza comes with jalapenos, basil, mushrooms, and pineapples. The jalapenos add some kick to the pizza. Yes, you can take the pineapple out of Hawaii but can't bring pineapple into Hawaii.

There is a separate jet bridge that connects passengers while boarding the upper cabin of ANA's Airbus 380 Aircraft. There is a regular lounge and a Suite lounge both sharing one same entrance. Me and my other half booked premium economy and was first to get to the regular lounge as my cousin and his other half were both booked in business class having access to the suite lounge as well. The regular lounge had a semi-full bar, a full spread of buffet selection, an udon bar, as well as non-alcoholic beverages with a premium coffee maker serving illy brand coffee. This lounge is spacious, seating area is extensive, especially considering that HNL isn't a very large airport. There are mainly three different types of seating; comfy lounge chairs and sofas with coffee tables line the large floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a spectacular views of the tarmac and runway. If you are going to Tokyo Narita on the A380, you'll see the HONU aircraft just outside the window. Many passengers were airplane spotting as the first Honu was taxiing out and taking off. Long benches with communal tables are another seating that also serves as a workstation. The dining space also has AC power as well as USB outlets. There is also restaurant style with round cocktail tables, rectangular dining tables making it a very nice space to enjoy snacks, cocktails, or full meal before the flight. Food servers and ground staff agents are professional, and friendly. The entire lounge is kept sparking clean including the restrooms located just past the children's play area. Table and counters were constantly wiped down, the air conditioning temperature and ambiance is truly a Hawaiian/Japanese environment.

We lucked out with seats right in front of where the Honu was parked! I love the convenience of the lounge being right above the departure gates in Terminal 2. There's a variety of every course: rice, chicken curry, udon, sandwiches, açaí bowl, musubi, drinks, alcohol. Lots of stalls in the clean bathroom, by the kids play area. Im willing to pay for ANA premium economy for lounge access for the convenience and comfort of a long-ish journey! 4.5 stars

After wandering around the airport for a bit I stumbled upon this place. The airport in Honolulu is rather unique and that the common areas are not air conditioned, but the restaurants and shops have air conditioning. Unusual to say the least. This place had comfortable air conditioning and good air circulation. The menu is reasonably diverse and includes most of the things one would expect on a bar menu. I noted multiple beers available, although I did not opt to try any of them as I did not see prices on the menu and did not want to get sticker shock later . I went with their hamburger, and was very pleased at how well prepared it was. Two kinds of cheese, well-made bacon, and a high quality bun with an appropriate amount of mayonnaise. It was delicious and I was glad I got it. The french fries unfortunately were a little limp and over salted. I suppose I could've sent them back but they weren't super important to me. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout my visit. They seem to understand that people are on a schedule when they come to dine in here. Overall I would certainly come back.

Entering inside the restaurant we were seated quickly and recommended to use the qr code to complete our orders. The restaurant ambiance was calm at the time we were there. There is a bar by the entrance. The waitress was friendly, checking on us as we were deciding what to order. She brought water and ensure we made our orders correctly. There was alot of options to choose from the menu. We ordered the locomoco which came with the beef patty, rice, macaroni and brown gravy and sunny side egg. I didnt try this dish so i cannot say if its flavorful or not. However, both my inlaws finished eating it so i assumed it was good enough. We also ordered the local burger with Swiss and cheddar cheese, tomatoes, onion with a side of fries. The beef patty was kinda dry and just ok, nothing special. We also got the Hawaiian flatbread your pizza with ham, pineapples, bacon, tomato sauce, mozzarella. It was a decent size foe one person. I didnt think it looked appetizing but it wasn't as bad. There was some flavor and crunch to the crust. My ordered the ahi rice bowl and a vodka island spirit drink. I really enjoyed my ahi as it was flavorful with balance of sauce and veggies. The drink was ok, didnt taste the alcohol.
