Janey and I wanted to keep going so we found ourselves wandering around Ala Moana. We went down to the food court but there was too many people and all the AC was being sucked outta the place. Then Janey remembered the Lanai, so we went there. She: They even have a bar here Me: We could get another drink.... We grabbed two seats facing the outside so we could watch people. Also, the AC was hitting us and it felt great! Our server was friendly and we asked if she could make us espresso martinis, and she said they were made with a cold brew and that she likes to add a little Baileys...OKAY! It was like we were drinking ice creamsicles! Sooooo good! We really appreciated the service and enjoyed our time there. Would definitely consider stopping back by! Mahalo Agave!

Agave & Vine is tucked inside the Ala Moana food court, right by Macy's--a surprising location for a bar, but somehow it works. It's an open-concept setup, so don't expect an intimate speakeasy vibe--this is more of a come-as-you-are, grab-a-drink-while-you-shop kind of place. Happy Hour runs daily from 3-6pm, and it's definitely one of the better deals in the mall. I stopped in to catch the Knicks vs. Pacers game 1 and grabbed a $4 well drink (gin and tonic, made to order, poured within minutes). The bartender was friendly, checked my ID (shoutout to my baby face), and kept the drinks flowing for other guests who were clearly regulars or fellow sports fans. The bar has seven TVs, so no matter where you sit or stand, you'll have a good view of the game. A few quirks come with the location--it's in a high-traffic food court area, so doors are constantly opening and closing, and birds occasionally wander in looking for a snack. Not exactly glamorous, but it adds character in a "Hawai'i mall culture" kind of way. The place is clean, service is quick, and it's a super convenient stop if you're looking to unwind after shopping. That said, it would be nice if they offered small bites or happy hour food specials--right now, it's strictly a drink stop unless you grab food from one of the nearby vendors. Would I come back? Sure--for a quick, cheap drink and some game time. It's not a destination bar, but it's a reliable pit stop in the mall, and sometimes that's exactly what you need.

What do I like most about this place? It's in the food court with huge screen TVs that I can catch NFL games on. I can get food from any of the food stalls and watch my games. There always seems to be a crowd rooting on their favorite teams. The cocktail waitress will come around sometimes asking if you want a drink. Today, I got a virgin pina colada $7 from her. She asked if I wanted whipped cream on it. I said yes and the drink was perfect. It was creamy and had the right amount of coconut to pineapple ratio. The Lions were battling it out with the Niners for the NFC Championship. The Lions were up by two touchdowns and a field goal at the half. Dan Campbell gave the game away. He should have kicked those two field goals instead of going for it on 4th, lol. He needed those six points. I could have coached a better game. The game was his to lose and he lost it. Better luck next year, Lion nation.

Yooo this is the place for HAPPY HOUR! Inside the Ala Moana Mall !!! It's right by the parking lot but I know there's a lot of places to park, so it's by Starbucks. I'm Happy I came for my last night in Hawaii and we met some great people too. Their drinks are really good and it's great for the price! One of the bartenders is super sweet and helpful while the other one seemed flustered and agitated. My guess it's because it's happy hour and people can be rude when they're drunk. Definitely come here to watch sport games and have a great drink to watch. I think you can bring in food court snacks but just clean up after yourselves since they don't offer food. I would come back again!

A bar in the mall (located in the Lanai Food Court) I've been here ONCE and it was a long time ago; when they first opened in fact and that said, I felt it was time to give them another visit. Pricey for what you get but I expect their prices are the norm for being in the mainstream of a popular shopping center. They have TV screens if you want to watch sports or news or whatever your heart desires. You just have to ask. One plus is they permit you to bring in food from the other merchants in the Lanai Food Court. Now, about the name you'd think they have a bunch of tequila or agave drinks; well no. Then you'd think they have a bunch of wines to choose from, well no. BUT they do have a bunch of beer on tap. A good place to stop for a quick rest and hydration after shopping .....

Turnt Dinner! Feelin The Weeknd w/ all this attention lol

Turnt and I'm all that is what I feels @ Agave & Vine! A sports bar on the 2nd floor of that ginormous mall. I've been here before where everyone wants to know your name, unlike on Cheers where everyone already does. All good as I already know I want $6 Mai Tai's! VIBE: 90% men, if you're into that. Hey, sports bar and being as PC as possible while wives are shopping, eh? MENU: Beer (on tap & bottled), Wine, Cocktails, but Happy Hour $6 Mai Tai's and $4 Beer is the sh*t! STAFF: All women, Tita Bun and Tats... friendly & TUF! Not as yo crazy Bruh like upstairs *that hooch bar*. Pretty low key for a heavy traffic area. Sports days can get loud, well food court loud. In the end, I'll be back, but not for any games or tattoos on thighs, just innocent glass of Mai Tai or three. Cheeeeee...

Agave & vine is such a great place not just for happy hour but all it's located in a mini food court across from to Macys and Starbucks. Happy hour is daily from 3-6p. Have a look at my photos below for the HH menu and their daily specials! The bar features a selection of cable sports streaming along with BYOF (bring your own food) OR take your drink to an available table nearby. Their "south of the border eggnog, which is one of their holiday cocktails that I've tried reminds me of a nice white chocolate eggnog espresso martini, maybe just one more shot of espresso and it would be perfect to balance with what's already on the bottom of my drink, white chocolate. I like to order their well drinks especially because they actually make it quite strong here for for a great price- well drinks are $4 here! It was nice as my partner and i were under the AC whole watching the games. I like the service because the staff here ad chill, friendly, and they are consistently walking around to check up on you. I love coming here and i won't stop coming here ;) will be back soon

Love this spot for the happy hour and daily specials! We wanted to watch the NBA playoffs at a chill spot with great deals that was close to where we're staying. We loved the happy hour mai tai. It's delicious and not too sweet. The bar is inside the food court at Ala Moana Center. You can bring food that you ordered within the food court to this spot! Staff is friendly and attentive. The bar has indoor and outdoor seating. We went here twice and ended up meeting very friendly locals!

Great place to stop by and have a few.... They at Ala Moana 2nd floor, inside the The Lanai food court. Seating available indoors and outdoor patio. Happy hour starts at 3 to 6pm My favorite drink here is the High Tai so much more tastier than the regular Mai Tai with the Mac nut salted rim and the fresh pineapple and juice. They have the classic Mai Tai on the HH menu. We also tried the Tequila Poppers with Li Hing Mui which were okay. I like that the drinks are tasty and strong! You are also allowed to grab some food outside and bring them in to enjoy with your drinks!

There should be a bar in every mall's food court! ATMOSPHERE: Agave & Vine serves as the watering hole for one of Ala Moana's two food courts, The Lanai. What's cool about it is you can either bring outside food into A&V or take your drinks out as long as you stay within the food court. Seating at A&V is a mix of bar and high tops. Several TV's turn it into a mini sports bar. MENU: Full bar including wine and beer but no food. BEVERAGE: Aria Cava - $10.00 My day drinking started off with sparkling wine so I continued it here! Not too sweet, not too tart, but just right. SERVICE: If you're sitting in the food court area, head to the bar to order and they'll provide table service thereafter. Our female server was terrific! OVERALL: With the demise of Shirokiya JVW, it's great that this similar option is available.

Stopped here with the fam which was perfect for a little downtime after a long day of touristing. Loved : the vibe, friendly/attentive service , a fantastic Mai Tai, my Prosecco was filled to the rim! We choose to sit in the bar bc we liked the vibe so mich, but the concept of purchasing your own food and enjoying it in the food court is genius! We all found the sushi, spam musubi, sushi hand rolls , desserts of our dreams in that food court and enjoyed it in the bar. To enjoy with a refreshing bev was absolutely perfect.

Smoked Out. A smokey flavored tequila drink.
    Michael K.

Small bar located in the food court outside of Macy's at Ala Moana. Basically, one of two bars at the mall. The other one, Mai Tai, is know for being big and loud, with lots of wild people. Agave is a more intimate setting, with bar seating as well as indoor and outdoor tables. I'm usually more for the cozy and quiet bar setting, but this place did not agree with me. I had a smoked out, which was a cocktail with tequila that has a sort of smokey flavor. Definitely not a smooth drink, but it was ok. They have a few TVs with different sports playing on them. Service wasn't great and I got the feeling like this place has a small group of regular patrons and I wasn't part of that group so I was wasting their time. I didn't like that vibe. It killed my Friday night, having a cocktail mood. It's fine, there are many other places I can spend my evening that will welcome an animal-loving, cheeto-eating, gentleman like me.

    Nice beer!

Ask the Community - Agave & Vine

Do they serve food, and if so what kind how's the menu?

we recently added a small bar pupu menu coming out of Ikes Sandwiches, but regardless outside food is welcome. The food court has a large variety of options.

I understand that there is a large group of Seahawks fans that meet here, are kids welcome?

There were kids there when we went, so I'm guessing yes.

Located in Waikiki along Lewers Street near Kuhio Ave. It's on the first floor sharing the same building with Oyster Hale and Genius Lounge. They don't have any affiliation with any parking garages, you're on your own. The inside is surprisingly big and spacious with bar and outdoor seatings, and high ceilings in the main dining room. The main theme is Spanish Tapas with mostly small or bite size dishes with a few paella and main entrees. Everything sounded good! "Pinchos" dishes is really just one bite. The Smoked Salmon was nothing special. It ate like a normal salmon with cream cheese. The other flavors such as dill, pink peppercorn, and orange did not come out. The Buñuelos Butterfish Fritter were good. Light, airy, doughy! nicely fried and seasoned. Didn't really taste much butterfish. The Tapas were a generous amount! The Shrimp Ajillo was flavorful with paprika and garlic. Shrimp was cooked well. The spice didn't come out from the dried chili peppers. The best was the Housemade Baguette! Warm, soft inside, crunchy outside. Better than at Vietnamese restaurants! Unfortunately, the dish and sauce was too salty--even for a person who likes more taste. The Octopus Ala Gallega was very good. Nicely grilled octopus to tender with a nice charred taste. Just needed some salt. Potatoes were good. Chimichurri sauce was flavorful. Generous amount of olive oil. The Uni & Crab Pasta was all right. I've had better. The spaghetti was a touch too Al dente. The flavor was very one note with the rich cream sauce and uni. There wasn't the sweetness from the crab. The cherry tomato was just there to be there for a bite. Would have been nice to get some acidity and sweetness throughout the dish. The Seafood Paella was very basic. Very disappointed with zero char on the rice. What's the point of the pan? It definitely needed higher heat. Everything ate like it was covered and simmered on low heat until the seafood was cooked. Very simple. The Ube Basque Cheesecake was good. Not too sweet, not too much Ube flavor with a light custard-like interior. Overall, this was a decent meal. All the dishes were beautifully presented, but needed some seasoning adjustments. Don't think I'll order the same dishes next time. The service was excellent. Very friendly, information, and attentive server. Comfortable dining area. Unfortunate it has no parking affiliation. I'll definitely comeback for their Housemade Baguette!

We also got the fried calamari and it was perfectly golden and tender, not rubbery at all. Light, crispy coating and super snackable -- especially dipped in the sauce. But the sleeper hit? The smoked ahi with lavosh. So flavorful and fresh, with that smoky richness balanced by the crisp lavosh. It felt light but still packed with taste -- a perfect contrast to the heavier fried stuff. Honestly, everything hit. Great mix of indulgent and fresh, and I'd order this exact combo again without hesitation.

The space is relaxed and inviting, with a calm, tucked-away feel that makes you forget you're inside a hotel. The happy hour menu is impressively priced, with starters beginning at just $6, yet everything feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated. Highlights included the toasted bread with sun-dried tomato pistou -- warm, crisp toast paired with a deeply savory, herbaceous spread that's simple but incredibly satisfying. The mini poke bowl was fresh and well-balanced, showcasing clean flavors and quality fish without being overly heavy. The fish tacos delivered exactly what you want: crispy island fish, bright flavors, and a great balance of texture. We also tried the fish and chips, featuring lightly fried island fish, hot fries, and a creamy house remoulade that tied the dish together beautifully. The standout for us was the empanadas -- flaky, crisp pastry filled with tender braised beef and potato, finished with a bold aji rojo sauce that added just the right amount of depth and gentle heat.
