We had a family dinner--for eight--at Mangiamo by 604. I was excited to have my father and brother experience this establishment, as I had a great experience two years ago. My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs. read more

Visited on 11.17.2025 for dinner, right before sunset. This was our first time here and it started off great! The greeting we received from Payton was truly genuine. Like she was welcoming family and friends to dine here. We got a seat on the outdoor lanai, honestly, such beautiful sunset views! Once seated, our server Erin really sealed the deal on this location. She truly reminded me of the best server I ever knew (my mom, a lifelong waitress, now enjoying retirement). Erin knew this was our first time here, and she made it her mission to make sure it was not our last. She was friendly, real down-to-earth, and efficient. She offered suggestions, refilled drinks and brought bread, all without us even asking. I will definitely return, and if Im able to, request Erin as our server. I took a few days to compose myself and not react out of anger, but I am seriously disappointed after spending $140 on take out for my Mother's Day meal. We ordered take out on the app and arrived right at the time we were given to pick up our order. My husband went in and I stayed in the car with my three kiddos. After a few minutes I received a text from my husband that it will be just a few more minutes for our food to be ready. Honestly, I don't ever mind waiting for food past the time given. I love piping hot fresh food. It was 7 pm, the parking lot was pretty empty, but I know it's Mother's Day and they were probably slammed all day. 25 minutes later my husband came out with the food. It took us all but 5 minutes to get back to base with our food. I was so excited and absolutely starving. I opened up the pizza and it was absolutely cold. I opened up the fried mozzarella and it was absolutely cold. My chicken parm I took two bites and left it alone. The chicken looked absolutely off , the breading wasn't even coated into the chicken and the sauce had no flavor. My husband ordered a steak. It was over cooked and was the only item piping hot, but he did eat it because he hadn't eaten all day and his salad also came out wrong. I unfortunately had to eat left overs from dinner I made the night before. This is a lot of money wasted and thrown in the garbage. My friend and I went here yesterday. I was super excited to share the restaurant with her as it's always been one of my favorites. Something has changed since we were here in October. They got rid of the 604 lunch menu and for the same soup and salad that I got in October it would've cost me $27 this year. The worst part was the service. we stood at the entry Kiosk, was acknowledged by a young lady behind the bar, then waited at least another 10 minutes for her to finish in the bar which she never did, she spent a long time with the gentleman at the end of the bar. another staff member came out and sat us. Problem was we had the same server as the one who ignored us earlier. She came out to provide drinks to the table next to us and was just walking by us when I stopped and asked about the lunch menu from 604. She was short about it explained that that menu didn't exist anymore and walked away. Still no engagement drinks, water, food etc. so we sat for about another 15 minutes waiting to see if she would come back and she did not. With the higher prices and the lack of service we walked out. interestingly enough last night. I had dinner with a friend last night and he and his son went to this restaurant a couple of days ago and had the same exact experience with the exact same person and they walked, telling me not to go there. We ended up going to Ruby Tuesday's down the road, had great service and a wonderful salad bar. The photos in the waiting area don't really fit the style of food or vibe inside. The restrooms are nothing fancy. When I got back to my office and was ready to devour I did find a large purple hard thing in my pasta, not sure if it plastic, purple potato skin? It's pretty hard.. idk. But after pushing that out of the way the pasta and sauce was delish! I had the chicken Alfredo. Noodles and sauce were perfect. The grilled chicken on top was a little bit too charred in my opinion. Dinner was ok. Seems like they have a new menu and the prices are high. I decided to try the new pan roast. If you are thinking it's like the ones in Vegas, you are wrong. It's more like a thin soup with a little seafood. Nothing like the photo. It wasn't filling at all and I had to keep eating bread and more food when I got home to feel full. For $28, not worth it =( The trio was had really small portions. And if you want to add sausage, they charge $8 for 3 small meatballs. The marsala looked good and portion large. Today was our 1 year wedding anniversary and celebrated it where we had our reception, right here at Mangiamo 604! They totally spoiled us tonight, we got the best spot in the whole place in the lovers gazebo. Table set up with flowers and set out the best dining materials just for us! I came here for dinner with one of my girlfriends after participating in one of their pop-up sip and paint events. Super friendly staff and very attentive. They checked on us throughout the meal. I love the live music they had. We sat outside, so we got to watch the sunset and get the nice views of the golfcourse, very calm and relaxing. The prices on all of their dishes were also very reasonable. I tried their chicken parmesean and my friend got some sort of pasta, salad combo. Dinner in Honolulu, Hawaii... I was here several years ago for the All You Can Eat Pasta deal. At that time, I was really enjoying the music from such artists as: Cyndi Lauper Beyonce Train Haha! Our waitress (Deija??) was attentive and checked on us more than a few times. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised & happy she was hired. She's a great fit there. Well it's what I think Mangiamo means and what a wonderful place to do so as it's overlooking the golf course probably isn't what many think is a view to desire but for me just looking out beside a cold wall of decor is very nice and relaxing. The decor is something different as I tried to describe it as a rustic western with an bull or ox along with a Louis Vuitton gun art on the wall it has it's little bougie touches which i did like lol! Since we were in the area and I've never been here Nadine C suggested and I'm so happy we did and with easy and free parking right beside the building getting here was easy though it's upstairs there is an elevator for easier access for those that need it. Service here is a delight as the kept coming back to check on us i got the pasta which was just the right amount the "BOSS LADY PASTA" to be exactly which says it's spicy but wasn't at all is interesting as it has roasted mushrooms, bacon, truffle oil, red chili flakes all tossed in capellini pasta. They already got me at truffle oil and had to give it a try and the simplicity of it was yummy the truffle was faint but definitely there and the light and delicate flavors did accent one another perfectly. Note: Review is based on take out experience. I decided on a whim to stop by and order take out this evening... Wow! What a pleasant surprise! The Host was so friendly and even offered suggestion off the menu. I ordered the Chicken Parmasean (recommended) and Chicken Marsala To-Go and then spent the brief wait time checking out the dining area and bar... The interior has a relaxed and welcoming feel, and surprisingly spacious enough to gather with a large group of friends/family. My take out meals were ready quickly and was still hot by the time I got home. Both dishes were excellent! The sauces were rich and flavorful, we particularly enjoyed the tomato marinara sauce on the Parmasean Chicken. The noodles (penne) were perfect al dente not soggy at all. We had such a wonderful dinner at Mangiamo by 604, thanks to our server Erin. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and welcoming charm that set the tone for the evening. We were a little indecisive and hungry, so Erin helped guide us with great suggestions -- and every dish hit the spot! We enjoyed: Tomato Basil Bruschetta - fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the balsamic reduction. Boss Lady Pasta - the roasted mushroom blend, bacon, and hint of truffle oil made this an instant favorite. 604 Burger - juicy, cooked perfectly, and paired with crispy fries. Happy Hour specials - the chicken & meatballs that were both hearty and tasty. She even started us off with the house bread, which was a nice touch, and we ended our meal on a sweet note with a classic Crème Brulee -- rich custard with the perfect caramelized sugar crust. To top it off, the Bloody Mary was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. The ambience was lovely, the tables are nicely spaced (not squished together), the AC was fabulous, and the restaurant is very clean. What really stood out, though, was Erin's genuine friendliness and positive energy. 03/06/2025 @ 1600 This gem is located on Valkenburgh Street at the Navy Marine Golf Course. There is plenty of parking available. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor, offering an amazing view. It was fairly empty, probably because it was a weeknight. We were there for a birthday party with a fairly large group. Our tables were inside, but with the large sliding doors open, the tradewinds flowed in keeping us nice and cool. The restaurant was clean, and the ambiance was comfortable and relaxing. There's also a huge, life-size bull statue in the dining room (we apologize that some of our party goers decided to mount it and may have inappropriately examined parts of the statue). Our waiter, Colton, went above and beyond to make our celebration special and memorable. He was attentive to our needs and incredibly patient with our constant ordering of food and drinks. He answered all our questions and always had a smile on his face despite how loud we were--though I think we may have disturbed the party outside . The food came out quickly, everything was delicious, and the presentation was excellent. Even CJ, the manager, came out to check if everything was to our liking. Kudos to Colton for exceeding our expectations and setting the bar exceptionally high for other servers to aspire to. We were a party of 10 and they gave us 2 little loafs to share. Definitely not enough for 10 people. Also bar menu pupus are not available at the restaurant. My chicken Marsala is my go to. I arranged and attended a work lunch here. It was a good venue for that because of the ample parking, room for a good number of tables (both indoor and outdoor), and selection of food. If your party is larger than 5 people, you will need to contact the restaurant to make the reservation; otherwise you can reserve on Open Table. When I called, I ended up needing to leave a message and did not receive a call back for a couple of days, but the person I spoke with was very nice. I had the meat lovers lasagna which was not bad. The best thing about this place is the view. We come here to golf and hit balls often. Finally decided to come here for a early Sunday dinner. A five minute wait turned into 45 minutes. Then when we finally sat down there was not a server insight. Finally after 11 minutes we had someone come and give us all waters. We decided to order immediately. The bread that was free and provided was cold and hard to break apart and not getting napkins or silverware as we sat down made that more difficult to enjoy. Our kids received their food first. No silverware. Couldn't find anyone to give us silverware. So we had to get up and find someone to give us some. Our server came with our food and we never saw her again. We are here right now and praying for the bill now. Our plan is to hand her the card without looking at the receipt where we can go ahead and leave. The Alfredo is absolutely awful. No flavor. Whoever makes it, Please taste it. If you think it's good, please have someone else taste it and help us all out. I am begging you. The spaghetti was decent. The chicken marsala...... noodles were over cooked. The sauce was so thin that it didn't coat the noodles. You needed spoon to get the sauce in your mouth after you got your noodles in. Marsala is supposed to be the flavor. Unfortunately didn't taste it at all. The chicken wasn't crispy. It tasted drenched in the oil they fried it in and it tasted as if it sat the pan cooling or atop of cutting board for about ten minutes before plated on my plate. We will never come here again and it's unfortunate because we live close and felt happy about having an Italian place around the corner. We are better going go Olive Garden at-least it is consistent. Free parking on left and right side of the lot. Restrooms are located inside the restaurant. Martini Gusto: One of the best martinis and cocktails I've had in a long time. Great balance with three olives vodka, limoncello, triple sec, sugar, then topped with a sliced lemon. All specialty cocktails costs $14 each. Unfortunately, none of the specialty cocktails can turn into a mocktail. One of the tables was missing a grip under one of the legs which caused the martini to rock. Luckily, one of the guys had a card and placed it underneath to stop that from happening. We shared: Calamari $17 (not pictured): Yummy! Breading was thin and not overwhelming. Paired well with marinara sauce. Stuffed Mushrooms $16 (not pictured): Tasted a little sweeter than what I'm used to due to chutney butter. Interesting. Crab and Vegetable Rigatoni Alfredo $32: Disappointed. Not fulfilled. I expected to see and taste chunks or pieces of crab and diced roma tomatoes in the pasta at this price point. Bisque style crab, roma tomatoes, mixed in Alfredo sauce. Chunks of zucchini, and some overcooked, split apart rigatoni were prevalent. Our Server was very thoughtful as tables were set with plates, napkins wrapped with utensils, took our drink orders in a timely manner, brought complimentary bread, drinks, apps and entrees were received in a timely manner, and asked the group if we wanted to order dessert. Crispy on the outside, creamy and soft rice inside with a hint of sweetness from the chutney. Hmm. They also gave out activity sheet for Keiki to draw. The Keiki menu is also pretty extensive. (We actually learned about this restaurant thanks to the hostess at restaurant 604 when we didn't want to wait 45 minutes to eat lunch). I now have been there several times. The creamy risotto bites melt in your mouth - a soft crispy (not quite sure how to describe it) outside and a light tasty inside. I thought they were arancini and maybe this is just a different name that they use ... not sure the difference but I like these better than any arancini I've ever had .sometimes arancini are heavy, these these are not. A must try. Their server told me they make spam themed ones for the SPAM festival, but these don't have Spam. They have all kinds of pasta as well. The pasta creations they have on the menu are delicious, but they also have a "Create Your Own" pasta option, where you choose your own pasta, sauce and can add on a protein. We had the basil fresco cocktail. Amazing a perfectly light refreshing cocktail on a hot day on the lanai. It has passionfruit rum, fresh basil, and . I think also sparkling water.
