That's bottom half of delivery slip, ph# & address omitted!
    Gilbert W.

So unhappy to report, first words out of delivery driver's mouth is to ask me how I was going to tip him!? As if I've ever stiffed anyone on a delivery?? Oh well, guess I won't be ordering any more food from there! So then I asked him if I can have a receipt, after I handed him cash tip & he starts getting back into car to leave. He points to edge of pizza box to say that piece of paper was it. After I go back into home to put down pizza box, I see the slip of paper was only a delivery slip, not a receipt! Guess he doesn't know his a$$ from an a$$hole!? Oh well, like I said, there's too many good overall pizza places nearby to keep giving business to a place that just doesn't care to train their staff on how to treat their customers well...see ya, wouldn't wanna be ya!!

My place to order pizza for many years. My sons are all in different states and when they come home, they always have a pizza from Knapp. It's feeling like they are coming back to town. Wonderful place for many years. Thank you guys so much.

Came here the other day wanting pizza and was in the area. The fresh smell of pizza draws you in through their door even tho the doors were closed. They had just opened when I enter, everything opening up, fresh, hot and clean. I did noticed none of the staff behind the pizza counter was wear gloves. The man handled the pizza and money/credit card without gloves or washing hands. It was sort of acceptable pre-Covid but now I find it a bit alarming. Money was always dirty but it wasn't as alarming or disturbing as now. Pizza was hot and delish. Ordered: Grandma slice, Mona Lisa slice and a Vodka slice. They should step up their sanitary game with gloves or constantly hand washing. Or one designated cashier to handle the register and touching people's payment. Hand sanitizer was not by the register by instead further away toward the end of the counter.

$4.50 Tiramisu - get it and you won't regret it!
    Melody C.

Ok, I know that this is a pizzeria and I should review their savory items... but their tiramisu? It took me to a whole new world (during COVID-19, can you believe that?). I have been on the hunt for amazing tiramisu in Brooklyn for god knows how long, and who knew that my prayers would be answered at a pizzeria? First of all, the tiramisu is so cute - packaged in a little clear cup so you can see the different layers from the outside, and it's also great for delivery purposes. The taste is really phenomenal too... creamy with enough coffee flavor but not to the point where it makes the dessert soggy with coffee pooled at the bottom. I could probably eat 10 of those in one day, but it's $4.50 for one so... While I am absolutely in love with their tiramisu, their pizza can use some work. I'm disappointed to say that I've never tasted a pizza slice as salty as theirs. However, their garlic knots are pretty decent - packed with a bunch of garlicky goodness but a bit on the oily side. They sell it a bit differently compared to other pizzerias that I've been to. One order for $3.50 gets you about 10-15 pieces of bite sized garlic knots in a tray for $3.50.

Stopped in at Knapp Pizza II on a Saturday night just before closing. I ordered a Buffalo chicken slice. It was just O-kay. Reheated after sitting in a glass food case. Definitely a place for the neighborhood regulars. Everyone seems to know each other by name. I'd go again on another late night if nothing else is open.

Great pizza spot locating in the heart of gravesend! This where I always get my favorite grandma slice. It's so good! Especially when it's a freshly made pie. The grandma slice is everything you want - thin, crunchy, saucy, and warms up the soul. Corner pieces are my favorite since you get that nice crust on both sides. They do have outdoor dining available as well

One of the better pizzerias in Brooklyn. The prices here aren't hiked up like other places which is great. Plus, you're allowed to order slices instead of pies online. Give this place a try. Pizza is worth it.

    Large Square Pizza (Sicilian)
    Sarah R.

Square pie is much smaller than the box, an inch and a half horizontally and an inch and a half vertically. This never happened before. Also note that the sauce is more orange than red. It looks like Chef Boy-Ar-Dee and tastes like it too. I even called to complain and the young woman on the other end said that the size and the recipe have not changed for over 25 years. Who am I going to believe, her or my lying eyes (and taste buds for that matter)? After 30 years as a loyal customer, never again!

    Bellody C.

The plain pizza is salty. The bottom crust isn't crunchy like regular New York pizza. That part tasted kinda too bready for New York pizza. The saltiness really deducted points for me. But literally, get anything else like my previous, and this place is a solid 4. The carrot cake is on point but kinda disappointing in terms of size, especially for the price. I'm so happy about the spinach bites. I expected small ones so I hesitating to get them. But, it came at a decent size so I definitely recommend getting it. They really upgrade themselves because initially their garlic knots were over burnt and hard but now it's just the right texture. Bravo!

    Grandma & Mona Lisa slice

Great local pizza spot! If you live in the area, this is definitely worth checking out. The pizza always hits the spot with perfectly thin crust and deep flavors. My boyfriend and I will always come here to get our grandma & Mona Lisa slice when we're craving pizza!

This was my first time ordering at this location. I have been to the Marine Park location and had a decent experience so I wanted to give this one a try. I ordered a large cheese pizza for pickup. I showed up to pickup and let the employees at the counter know that I was picking up a Doordash order for Ada. They looked around and couldn't seem to find it. They only had a Doordash order for Elisa ready. Obviously, I said that wasn't me. After a minute or two of looking further, they popped open the box for Elisa and found the cheese pie in there. On my way out, one employee said under their breath, but loud enough to hear, "next time put the right name on your receipt". I would REALLY like to know who has that much time on their hands to waste time like that - create an account under another name, pay for food on it, and then show up to pick up with their own to cause trouble lol. Clearly, it's impossible for this fine establishment to mix up papers! Considering, the cheese pie had a Neopolitan receipt. I will not be returning this location. There's plenty of other pizza locations that appreciate customers' business. Also, cheese pizza was just okay. It wasn't that great - pretty salty and oily.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. We ordered a whole pie half plain and half pepperoni, which is only $2.50 more. What I notice right away is the zesty tomato sauce, which Has love. However, I must admit that the crust was a bit too hard for my taste. Yes! It was crispy, but biting through it was somewhat difficult. My daughter and I love Patsy's and if there is any pizza we want to get while in the city, this is a no-brainer. I love how classy and old-world the inside of this place looks. It makes you feel warm in the colder months, and refreshed in the warmer ones. The pizza always arrives still bubbling and with a beautiful undercarriage. They NEVER disappointed us and I would rather spend $200 per person here, than for the overpriced Tame Impala ticket.

Patsy's Pizzeria delivers where it matters most: the food. I stopped in with a party of three…read morearound 430pm. The Margherita pizza was perfect. Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
